As an adjunct journalism professor I am obviously a First Amendment advocate but I cringe over lack of any semblance of control- i.e. FCC. Blatant lies- in many cases obviously defamatory reeking of actual malice (defined by the Supreme Court many years ago in NY Times v. Sullivan as a “reckless disregard for the truth or falsity of the matter”) even though concerning public figures- is pathetically ignorant. FYI I’m a Kansas City girl/ live probably 15 minutes from Travis. He does not presently have a beard.
I don't care about Vienna. I want to know why you haven't endorsed Kamala. How can you not see how important this is? It is the most important vote of our lives.
