Tip I hear the Kawai GFP-3 will work as a substitute and get all the functions of the Nord T2. Have not bought one yet but there is a post on the Nord Forums about this. It's £129 less than half the price.
wow, thanks man! I was about to order Nord Triple Pedal 2 but it turned out it's exactly the same as Kawai GFP-3 but rebranded one. Kawai is way cheaper and I really loved it (owned Kawai MP11SE)
Yeah, it's now December, and they don't have them in yet. I haven't found anything about what the hold up is at Kawaii getting them made, or if there's just a ton of people who are on the list to get them because they came out after the keyboard. I'm still looking forward to getting one, even though they're expensive and it'll be into next year before one is available. I'm using a regular old Roland sustain for now, but I really want to be able to use the TP2 for the piano pedal noise, and rotor toggle on my B3.
...also can you use the pedals as expression pedals? I think they have continuous 0-127 control rather than on/off - so they possibly can be used for expression. (Though the shallow depth might feel weird under foot)
Great videos DSoundman. I am having trouble with keyboard splits in the synth section. I can split the 2 first synth engines fine, but when I add the third one, it does not split correctly. It changes the split for the other 2 synths. Please advise. Thank you. Blessings.
Hi Douglas ! Great Video ! I ordered my triple pedal 2 same time I purchased my NS 4.. Back Ordered.. Will not be available until after the third quarter.. I am looking forward to getting it.. Love all the assignable options.. Have a great week ahead.. OH.. and, by the way... I am loving your Sound Pack for the NS 4 ! Blessings !
Douglas, I watched your video several thimes, I'am trying to get my pedal to toggle from slow to fast rotar. I'am missing something, I can't get it to shift. Would it be possible for you to explain how to make it work? Could you go threw it step by step, with your display showing on the screen? Thank You!
Does the soft pedal access true una chorda (single string) samples OR does it simply just soften the existing sound with a lower velocity curve and/or eq?
Hi Douglas.. I've noticed this new update has some programs with the piano layer volume at zero by default, like the A16 as shown in your video. I guess this is some bug or something.
What setting do I use to switch instruments in a program? I have a song loaded that I need to switch to a second synthesizer for the chorus but I’m not sure what setting to use.
Cool! Is there a way to get the half damper effect on the synth sounds also? Really missing this for instanse at song endings to create a fade and not a drop out sound
It''s shame that there's not a LOT MORE controller points that you'd be able to choose from to control! Like an effect, being able to turn it on and off, for example! The Stage 4 should have been equipped with an on'off button to the left of the hand controller that you'd be able to assign!!! Like the Nord Wave 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got a triple pedal, may not be the 2 version as they look a like, for my NS4 and when I plugged it in the sustain was on before I pushed the pedal down. How do I get to work right? Or will it not work with the NS4?
Awesome video. Do you know if the triple pedal can be used as volume/control pedals?

I can confirm the GFP-3 works! Save your money!@@grzegorztomasiak
How did this compare? Do you get the pedal noise? Sweetwater is $350 for the Nord pedal. 😮
I can confirm it works right out of the box. All functions including the pedal noise. Great tip. Thanks!
Still waiting in UK for stock. Good tutorial for when I do get it.
Great tutorial-thanks!
Ordered the Triple pedal for my stage 4 in May 2023.
Still waiting ( Sweetwater sound )

That’s a bummer you haven’t gotten it yet! Hopefully it comes earlier. And thank you so much, glad you like the sound pack!!
Can you program the pedals so they can switch up and down during LIVE view?
is there a way to set the pedal to move up and down the transpose feature for live performances?

Nice video! Is it possible to just click it down, and it stays on Layer Scene 2? And then if you press it again it goes back?
Yes! They added that ability a few OS updates back.
Hey, great video 👍 but i have a question: can i save the setting for each program or just globally?
That’s a good question! I believe it’s global, but I’ll check it out and let you know.

I am having trouble getting sustain with the triple pedal and without it. Am I missing something?

Ahoj, na ns4 som nováčik a práve som nedopatrením zmazal jeden predmet. Dá sa to odniekiaľ stiahnuť a uložiť znovu? Roman
