Great video! I saw another vid on Vimeo where Giovanni had a great quote that summed it up in many ways. Roughly translated, he said, "A bicycle built by a frame builder has the soul of the builder. A mass produced frame does not have soul. It doesnt know anyone." Love that quote. I have an late 83 Ciöcc Designer 84 Microf C40. Great frame comparable to my De Rosa Professional. He seems like a genuinely nice guy as well. Look forward to part II.
Such a pleasure to witness genius at work. My Concorde (Ciocc) PDM Squadra means more to me than many will know & few will understand. This is icing on the cake
Tradition is the root's of every country and Giovanni Pelizzoli's craftmanship we can only hope (and wish ) steel frames will contniue in a traditional way...
Still riding my 1985 San Mod Cristobal. Repainted it in '97. Updated to ergo shifters and derailleurs in 2002. Added Vuelta wheels recently. It looks odd now next to newer bikes with it's steep "criterium" angles and short wheel base.
Great! I came here because I had no idea how to pronounce 'Ciöcc'. I am glad now, because it sounds similar Hungarian word 'csöcs' it means tit. Btw, the first two syllables of 'Pinarello' also meaningful in Hungarian... :)

Bellisima! ❤️
Where's the update????? Want to see!!
Very fun to see a Ciocc with Nervex lugs, never saw that before.
Where's the update? Please do so even though it past two years ago. Would be happy just with the final look of the bike!
Amazing craftsmanship. I feel like such an idiot for selling my old Ciocc San Cristobal from next t nothing.....
I'm afraid to ask what that service cost.
What was wrong with the head tube, that it needed to be removed?
I think they were harvesting an old frame for the lugs.
Where is the rest!!!!
I'm also wondering what the problem with the frame was? What was repaired?
I think they were harvesting it for the lugs.
so where is this shop? What major Italian town is it near? In the Veneto region?
Balosso chiede delucidazione "la storia di Ciocc o Ciöcc, può essere attendibile?"
