What’s marvellous about this is that by teaching people to create their own flower farms, you are helping our environment by ( I hope) reducing the amount of air miles etc of foreign grown flowers.
All your wonderful comments, such kind words thank you everyone. My first ever wedding & a complete joy to use flowers from Common Farm sprinkled with a few from my own cutting patch. Sue x
Beautiful, just breath takingly beautiful. Well done Sue you obviously had a good tutor and Obviously worked extremely hard to pull that all together and first wedding too! On wards and up wards as Georgie would say. You taught her well Georgie, if that clip doesn't encourage budding flower farmers and wedding designers I don't know what will. Janx
They were absolutely stunning the Church, dining room simple gorgeous.thank you for showing us.what a lovely start to my Monday morning thinking of that beautiful autumn colours. Lifts the heart.Wendy U.K.
Another great video George. Now to try and get these amazing flowers to grow in my Johannesburg suburban garden. You are a big win Georgie. Very keen to see what you do in winter.
What a stunning finale to the year! Congratulations to Sue and to you. Who wants a Spring wedding when you can have such a glorious colourful Autumn one.
This was so much fun seeing you with a past student! Look how you are changing lives, Georgie. I can't wait for the Lifestyle Business workshop. 😊 Meadow boxes framing the church door were just stunning! Sue did such an amazing job and seems like the sweetest friend!
Wow! The flower arrangements were so beautiful! Oh my goodness...Georgie you are one of those people that we absolutely love to have in our lives and call a friend. Absolutely wonderful video. God bless
Just delightful. The reception room was stunning with the crabapples. Before I retired I was a coach/trainer and I was always thrilled when my “students” succeeded and moved on to bigger and better things.
When you said you were picking only 650 to 700 stems for the wedding and then gave the list for what items needed to be done, I gasped and thought there’s no way that there will be enough flowers/foliage to do so many things! That would be only be enough to decorate the tables at the reception if there’s 16 stems per jar (40 jars) and the ivy & crabapples to lay flat. I was relieved and very happy to see how lovely everything turned out and that there was definitely more than 650-700 stems for all those wedding flowers.😅💐I’m sure the bride’s dad had a lot of dahlias to contribute and maybe Sue had another flower source as well because I thought I saw some varieties in the bridal & bridesmaids’ bouquets that I haven’t seen growing in your garden?
Have you thought about doing a video on the shrubs/tree/bush/I dunno what word, that you "couldn't" live without. If you were to move and could only afford to buy three which would they be, kinda thing. You do seem to love the ole crabapple.
Beautiful autumn colours Georgie. I got married in September and asked for autumn colours some 27 years ago and back then there were only commercial florists so I had to have a mix of fresh dried and dyed flowers and foliage to get this effect. Definitely prefer your version ❤️
thats nice to hear about downside and the fosse way , as although i live in new zealand , i come from Downend in Bristol originally and lived in the bristol wiltshire somerset area for a long long time
Great video Georgie, so fun to see your student do so well. I have a question in the flower boxes, did she have pitchers or containers of flowers that she placed in the boxes or were they filled themselves, curious, they were stunning and a terrific idea.

Yes the Dad added some dahlias in - there were only five or six stems per jar xxx
You taught her well! Beautiful job.
Thankyou x
The meadow boxes were amazing! What held the water and flowers within?
They were - there were trays inside filled with water and chicken wire. x

ah your old stamping ground then x
Great video Georgie, so fun to see your student do so well. I have a question in the flower boxes, did she have pitchers or containers of flowers that she placed in the boxes or were they filled themselves, curious, they were stunning and a terrific idea.
She had narrow plastic trays inside with chicken wire but you could have put jars and they would have worked well x
Hello paula
Garden planters secured inside to hold water & filled with bundles of chicken wire, the beech acted as a frame. Hope that helps
