Yup that's me spot on, I had this female that I liked and I even told her that I liked her and we were supposed to hang out at a karaoke bar and everytime I tried to talk to her she was so cold to me or very distant, and then there was another guy that she was talking to apparently and she seemed really into this dude just laughing with him joking with him and he was even putting his arm around her waist and she knew that I liked her and we were officially talking and getting to know each other.
