Love the broad washes you start with! Is that a hog's hair bristle brush you're using, or is it a softer hair brush? Straight turps, or do you add some oil to it?
Hi, very beautiful work and inspirational to my own art, thank you :) Is your process usually to fill in the sky near the end? I usually consider it the furthest layer and therefore paint it first. I would appreciate your thoughts on that
@@cryptzzz1188 Thank you! It is an interesting thing what to paint in first, there are so many valid reasons. I tend to start filling in my mid tones in first or the largest area of colour.

@@jofinneg Thank you, Hog hair and odourless mineral spirits, I like how hog hair pushes the paint around.
