I think WR play needs to be reworked. Receivers don’t go after the ball or exploit dead zones when playing zone coverage. They run the same speed throughout their routes until the end and they run behind defenders after the ball is thrown.
Yes! This is frustrating, I wish they could use the IQ rating for this to make it more used right now its really only for simming. Also QBs not being able to loft the ball over the defenders head is annoying
@@cswee123 There were many things that were frustrating to me. Receivers unable to catch the ball over the middle, my QB getting strip sacked multiple times a game, free safety getting cooked by the TE, broken assignments in the secondary, but the most frustrating was the inability to complete a deep pass. Fix Gameplay First. Then worry about coaches, logos, whatever. Defenders slowing down like they hit quicksand so an AI receiver can run past them is absurd. Or defenders standing still throughout a play while the offense runs past them. It's predictable how much the AI gets better or worse throughout the game depending on how well you are doing. Yeah, it’s horrible the way they coded this game. It’s made to essentially give the CPU an unreal advantage at all times. Look at wear and tear. It doesn’t seem like the CPU is impacted by it. You definitely can’t see the impact if it does affect them. I played Michigan and their RB ran 35 times and he looked like he was at full speed at the end of the game.

I agree with most points but wear and tear 100% affects gameplay. It is very noticeable when you have a QB/RB with high wear and tear, they are much slower and almost never break tackles
I took a month off from the game because of the blocking. I came back and decided to lower the difficulty to Freshman because I didn’t feel like losing so often.

Also, a few added things for me personally: - team builder teams taking the location of the school you replaced, not your teams chosen location on the website. Very annoying when it comes to proximity to home recruiting being completely wrong - RTG should have an option for default camera angles. Personally I struggle to throw on the low angle cameras we get for QB specifically - We are missing quite a few menus in dynasty that were in 14. Many of them are kind of minor, but for guys who love to watch what is going on around the league, these extra menus help - the upsets in simulation can definitely be a bit much some times. It is fun to see the league change and teams emerge, but I think sometimes the top dogs drop off way too fast. Maybe a slider that weighs the frequency of upsets in simulation would be a nice addition Side note: for your gripes on the heisman defense being too good for cpu, and bad for you, I’d say consider the possibility of playing on a lower difficulty with a custom slider set. I’ve found the lower difficulties are much easier to get teams to play more accurately to their ratings. I actually have a Varsity set (I’m not amazing at the game, for better players I’d recommend an AA set), and just yesterday I had a game in Tuscaloosa where I struggled really hard to move the ball, and then played at Syracuse and had a very solid offensive game. The lower difficulties are much more realistic in that sense, and you can still get very difficult games with the right sliders.
