When he flexed greater sushi knowledge on his dad, his dad didn't hesitate to show how proud and impressed he was. Not an ounce of pride or wounded ego to be seen. What a guy!
Praying for your fast recovery 🙏💖 also I just wanna say thank you so much for making these videos a lot of us know your dad as an IronChefDad and if he ever had a yt b4 you made it might have been a professional 1..yes of course we love to see his cooking but it won't be like this.. U making video with your Dad is just so amazing.. We get to see this side of your dad and your bond.. As a Pilipino parents can sometimes be approachable.. Sometimes intimidating... I'm glad tho we have a father almost like your dad in terms of relationship ❤and that's y I love your these kind of videos very much.. All in my family watch your vids 😂❤ also, for those comments I've read saying ur dad carrying ur channel I'll say I don't think so.. Because i think IronChefDad is like this in these videos because he is comfortable with you.. I don't think he'll be this way if it's with other people or just himself doing the cooking.. Yes it's still amazing.. But this.. This is just lovely ❤ also the wisdom and humor..
hey man I am glad you are doing well and recovering. I know that feeling of having surgery for the first time and I was super nervous. But, anyways Love your brand man and i am super ready for your next drop
Good to see your Dad is featuring back into your videos. I love watching you two interact with each other over food. Hope the surgery went well. I just had open heart surgery three weeks ago myself. Still on the mend. Sending love from Australia 🦘
Always a good day when you post and praying for your speedy recovery 🙌 You think you can do a reaction vid to 'The Bear' with your dad? I think that'd be really interesting
@@CrumbRSnot quite but for elective surgery especially back surgery would be a while . Assume family may also have US healthcare insurance or has the money to pay out of pocket even for NYC which would be much more expensive than border regions. Also day surgery with no hospital admission so much less expensive. Hotels, flights and food would have added significant costs. Having been just admitted last week and spending 24 hours in the ER have enough complaints about the Canadian healthcare system but also received very good care and a bed. Long weekend added extra complications and the need to stabilize me before figuring out whether I needed higher level care or a ward also delayed getting a bed. US hospitals also facing similar issues with lack of beds, long ER waits, etc. but this was day surgery so can’t compare.
If it's not critical/dire, then you'll be waiting for an opening in Canada. Which may not be an issue if you're not in need of emergent attention. So free in Canada, but comes with a caveat.
My 6 ft tall daughter had the same surgery when she was 22 , Dec.2020! Excruciating back pain for over a month prior! All the best to you, You’re going to feel such relief! ❤🎉
This reminds me of the league of legends player "Deft" who also has this. Also there's a cs2 caster named Launders who had a back problem and got it fixed by reading a book and following it's guidelines. The book was called "Back Mechanic"
I have the same thing from heavy lifting from a previous job. Worst feeling in the world. Wishing you a speedy recovery. No one knows unless they go through it. I've been in constant pain since the end of 2019. Some days it's dull. Some days you just want to scream at the world and fight back tears. I've done PT, Acupuncture, been to chiropractors as well after getting my imaging and diagnosis. Herniated/trapped disc and spinal stenosis. I have nerve damage in my left foot now. Never thought I'd be here at 32. Only so much crappy NY insurance pays.
Strengthen all your posterior chain muscles via good mornings, deadlifts, back extension, etc. with proper lifting and breathing techniques and once you develop thick erector spinae muscles, your back will be bulletproof.
I had minimal invasion back surgery due to the same issues. I was fused from L1 through S1 and S2. I tried everything and then did the surgery. I waited too long so I have permanent neuralgia (pain) in my legs and feet. Bravo to you for getting the surgery early and fixing the problem. My surgery went well and I hope it resolved your issues soon and healing goes smoothly. ❤
I've had many major surgeries, and IME found that Day 3 is always the worst with pain. After that the pain will start going down, at least for me and others who have told me about this. Hope you have a successful surgery!
Jet I work in surgery those surgeries are pretty routine. As far as anesthesia bad thing’s rarely happen to people in good health. Good luck you will be fine.
hey Jet for the wireless mic you should get a chain you can attach it too and put it on around your neck, it would look way better than clipping it to your shirt!
Literally just watched Eater's Mise en Place on Eric Ripert and Le Bernardin right before watching this, cool coincidence! Looks like an incredible restaurant!
Yes! I had the surgery and immediate relief overnight. However, please take care not to overdo your activities because mine came back because I over do my stretches and exercise. Your back will not be as strong for about 10years, so take care!
I had a microdiscectomy done between my L4 and L5 vertebrae. Where was your herniated disc located? I felt immediately better after my surgery. Unfortunately my nerve was stuck and was damaged. How are you feeling after having your surgery done? I definitely noticed a change in my physical ability since having it done. Hopefully yours went well and you had a speedy recovery!
" We talk often and I am proud to say they reach out when they need help or advice. Since I never had that with my dad, it makes me feel I have succeeded with them." _Susur Lee (Dad Central) I just read your dad msg there and it really had me crying 😭❤️ God bless you always I pray you keep making these videos of yours together with your Dad because it's just so beautiful and inspiring ❤..

Damn, mans got free healthcare in Canada & went to US to pay to get the surgery 💀
HSS is one of the best ortho centers in the world. Better to be safe when it comes to your health
Very common in Canada if you can swing it. The healthcare is free, but it's years wait unless you're on deaths door
Very true. Wait is a long long time
