- OpenAI just released the ability for ChatGPT to access certain apps inside of your Mac ChatGPT app. This means it can see what you see inside of your applications.
This new feature is the runway to ChatGPT having complete access over your laptop, allowing it to perform tasks for you (agentic AI)

The OpenAI app just released to desktop today. Not sure if this applies to the app access or not

Only available for VS Code and a few other coding apps but definitely the beginning of the full agentic wave coming from OpenAI

This is dumb, not game changing. Models can already see everything in those apps via extensions and plugins and has been the case for a long time now.
its setting the bar for the future Operator release where it can actually access and control your computer.
The feature now isn't crazy, but the potential that comes with this new infrastructure
