I have a question please! Jis paani main channay bhigoye the for 3 hours (meethe sode k sath) ussi paani main phr sidha boil kr dene hain ya uss paani ko chaan k fresh paani main boil karne hain channay ?

I tried it too yesterday, Alhamdulillah taste is 90/95 percent like our local shops in Pakistan. I tried the chaney, did not add sukhi methi, citric acid or tatri, cardamom (choti ilaichi) as did not have any of these. I used chicken salt instead of chicken powder (didn't have it). All the rest of the ingredients did exactly as told. I used canned chane as we have here overseas.
We bought halwa puri from our local store here and it was not even 10 percent of what I made yesterday from this recipe. All of you brothers and sisters who are overseas and miss home food, you should give this a try Insha Allah.
May Allah bless our brother in the video who is teaching with love and compassion as he is concerned for our fellow brothers and sisters even in Pakistan guiding them to do halwa puri business if they can. Selfless. salams and salute to you Sir! May Allah increase you in every way.
ingredients in english as i noted down
1 kilo chane
3 kilo water
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 kilo oil
5 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tablespoon red chili
2 big ilaichi (cardamom)
8 small ilaichi (cardamom)
2 small stick dal chini (cinnamon stick)
1 table spoon haldi (turmeric powder)
1/2 tablespoon chicken powder
1/2 kilo onion
10-12 chillis
grind both together
1 tablespoon sonf powder (fennel seed)
3 tablespoon dhania powder (corriander)
1/2 teaspoon methi dana (fenugreek seed)
2 tablespoon khushk methi (dried fenugreek)
1/2 tablespoon kala namak (black salt)
1 tablespoon normal salt
1/2 tablespoon sulphuric/citric acid ya tatri
mix water and chane let it cook
1 tablespoon garam masala at the end (can ask at local indian grocery store)
3-4 full chilli
1/2 tablespoon black pepper

Made channay with your recipe. Added kalonji and chicken cube instead of chicken powder. Turned out SO good. Finally got my hands on a good recipe

Agar tayyar hone ke baad iss per khalis ghee ka tarka laga leta to bohat acha taste ho jata.
Pakate huye 1/4 ya 1/8 tea spoon hing dal de to zaiqa bohat umda ho jata hai aur hazam bhi bohat jaldi ho jata hai

Please look carefully at your silver pot it's blackened up so the poison from the aluminium pot has gone into the food. Use stainless pot for boiling the channa. The side added to the Channa further spoils the aluminium pot and loads of toxins get into the food. When you soak the Channa add hot water not cold water and you will not require the soda. If you feel like adding soda add it during the soaking process. When the Channa puffs up, drain all the water and add fresh drinking water and boil the Channa in a Stainless Steel pot. Your Channa will boil in half the time or in less time than required. Please do not advise people to use china salt MSG it's banned as it is a poisonous chemical which spoils people's health, joints, bones etc.
