- Earth & Fire is a Dutch progressive rockband from the 1960's. Lead singer was Jerney Kaagman and twin brothers Chris (guitar) and Gerard Keyboards) Koerts were the main composers of the band.
Earth & Fire had a string of hits in the early 1970's starting with
"Seasons", "Ruby Is the One", "Wild and Exciting", "Invitation"
"Storm and Thunder", "Memories" between 1970 and 1973. "Maybe Tomorrow, Maybe Tonight" was their 7th hit which reached

RIP Chris 11-11-2022 (guitarist). Wish a well journey to your twin-brother Gerard on keys (died 2019) who will wait for you in Heaven. Bassplayer and husband of singer Jerney Kaagman Bert Ruiter died also this year (24-03-2022). He participate the band in 1978.

I didn't know this record until I moved to The Netherlands in 1990, but since then I've fallen in love with Jerney. Such a beautiful woman and such a great singer. She's stolen my heart.
In the 1970s, Polish television broadcast several songs of this great band.
It was remembered for so many years because of its freshness and the wonderful voice of a great singer.
We remember this band in Poland.

@@carlphone fine but that is your opinion, I see it different. The debut single from Nirvana was 'Love Buzz' a cover from Shocking Blue. You don't have to like it, but if it was wallpaper music, Nirvana wouldn't cover it.

I had no idea this band had even existed until a few months ago and now they are one of my favorite bands of that era. I listened to all of their albums and enjoyed their musical journey.

I remember listening to this as a kid when reading "Sjors en Sjimmie" comic book by Jan Steeman. For me this song was something like the underscore of many of his and Annelies's stories.

Waarom is het beeld gespiegeld? Theoretisch zou het nog mogelijk zijn dat de gitarist en de bassist allebei linkshandig zijn, maar bij de aanslagen van de toetsenist wist ik het zeker.
Entire film is backwards, left to right. Avro wake up!
En de drummer zit in het begin op een paar kleine drums te meppen maar het moeten natuurlijk toms zijn.

Mooi nummer, maar jammer van die overdreven galm op de zang. Zal wel een dingetje voor die tijd zijn.

Dat werkte nu juist uitstekend met een AM-radiotoestel, die dit nummer ontving van een Noordzee-piraat met een hoop fading.
