I agree with everything you said about Diddy Ticket. However, as black folks we have to be careful about blaming the victim. In this case it is easy for outsiders to say what Cassie should have done in her situation. Moreover, she tried to leave Diddy multiple times, but Diddy used his power and influence to coerce her to come back to him repeatedly. This information is in the court documents. Also, diddy destroyed her self-esteem and he compromised her career aspirations. Lastly, as a college graduate I took a course called Violence in America and domestic violence is a serious thing. Throughout the quarter different women who were abused would share their stories with the class and it was extremely sad and intense hearing what many women had to go through. Many women stay in these types of relationships out of fear, and a lack of confidence. We have to stop promoting and protecting the perpetrator. In closing, I have never liked Puff at all. 👎🏿👎🏿I always felt he did a lot of people foul. They could have had a case against him but instead of doing the right thing they sold the tape to him and now it might be too late for criminal charges to be levied against him.
