These indeed are counterfeit. There are immediate tell tale signs these cosmetics are counterfeit. The girl may or may not be aware of this. Regardless between her and this boy, there seems to be something off. She very well can be happy with the counterfeits. To each her won. But nonetheless this video shout have been posted as claiming these cosmetics are authentic. That there is false advertising.
I don't think the makeup is fake. MAC changes their packaging every few years to avoid replication and, if I'm not mistaken, their older packaging did use sticker barcoding ans labels. This is probably a bunch of older overstock, defects, exchanges, and returns that he got on the cheap. You can see that not all of the product is in pristine condition, and some of it even looks used.
Even if it is fake, I bet it's all on the same quality level as ELF or, say, those chinese e/s palettes (have one, adore it) at the very least; and that is not bad at all. Again, look at the size of that. I'd be pissing myself with joy even if someone sent me a box that huge filled to the top with drugstore makeup. And on the topic of fake MAC, I have a brush set that's fake MAC and the quality is great as well, half of them are real hairs, half are synthetic and they all work great. Idk about the actual makeup but I'd think it'd be nice as well. I'm a total stranger and not even a subbie, I'm on a swap scam marathon and your vid keeps showing up even though it's not a scam, and I'm totally happy for you. :) If some of those were swatched, you can just wipe off a layer and then sanitize with alcohol spray, that's what MUA's do. No big deal IMO, I'd do that.
The difference between drugstore brands like elf and fake/replica make up is that drugstore brands HAVE to comply with certain hygiene standards, are tested over and over to make sure they're safe to put on the skin, and they're only allowed to use ingredients that have passed safety tests. Fake make up on the other hand doesn't have to have any of that as they aren't an actual brand or sold in drugstores/on reputable websites. They could literally have anything in them, I have seen so many people have the most horrific reactions because of the cheap chemicals they user to make them. And the fact that some of them are used is even more horrific as you have no idea who's touched them. Make up artists are trained in how to properly sanitise their products and they don't just 'wipe them off and sanitise them'. You really should do your research and educate yourself on fake make up because if you're going to say positive things about it then you really have no clue about the damage they can cause or what its doing to the actual brands, Mac even ask people to report fake make products to them because they are so dangerous and could give the company a bad name. Idiot.

I've recently ordered one high end palette and it's the only high end item I can't live without getting, that's it. Drugstore actually works better for me, Maybelline gel liner has by far worked way better for me than Mac, Revlon foundations are my HG and so on.

She has worked for MAC and I only use Mac products since I have worn makeup i have cases and cases of Mac in my closet most are me collecting the limited collections. i have seen up to the "lip conditioning stick" all the boxes seem to be dusty and beaten or not closed. The MAC Lip conditioning stick I have previously owned and is always the size of the tube hers looks like it was a 25¢ stuck in a different tube that also failed to say "MAC" The way it's packaged looks very risky and fake. I see people telling her to use these anyway should be sick. Using counterfeit makeup contains chemicals and pesticides and can very rapidly kill the skin and cause cancer. This is just me staying what I see. So come and tell me something you're wasting your time because I truly do not care.

I'm curious to know if either you or Brandon realise that MAC is tested on animals. Not only are they owned by Proctor and Gamble but they sell their products in China which has mandatory animal testing on all cosmetics which are sold in their stores. They don't only use rodents for testing either, Bagels are often used in testing because of their trusting natures.

Beagle was what I meant to say, the dog breed is very placid, trusting and mostly non-aggressive which makes them the perfect breed to test on. Actually there are plenty of cruelty free cosmetic companies around who actively work to get animal testing stopped and who made sure their products are environmentally sustainable. Most people just don't put the time and effort into looking for them. Proctor and Gamble are a huge parent company who own a lot of brands (such as MAC) but the cruelty free brands are out there.
Okay here's my opinion, even if its real or fake, that guy put a TON of effort and time into her package, and for someone that has never met another, doing something like that is VERY VERY sweet!! You don't find many people that would go all out for someone they've never met! That was VERY sweet!

Jemma Grace we had a lady come into our school who makes make up for mac and we got it all for really cheap (like two dollar lipsticks) some had the actual label on them and some did not the reason it is so cheap is because you are getting it from the maker not the store and I am positive that people who work there most likely have the same connections. It doesn't mean its not mac it just means you are getting it before it goes to stores.
I don't think they're fake. I used to work at a department store at a cosmetic counter right across from MAC . Every so often they'd collect a few boxes of items that were yo be sent out to CCOs (Estée Lauder outlets). They didn't sort anything out (box looked like the one she's showing). All discontinued or limited edition leftover (notice she has a lot of either LE products, discontinued, or damaged things). Maybe this guy who was accused of stealing managed to take a box of goods that were supposed to be shipped out to the outlet. Weird, but yes if you've ever shopped an outlet the boxes have stickers and the boxes are kinda damaged or bent. I'd feel so bad if someone sent me stolen items! But yes they are not fake products.

The Mac is probably real. Mac has testers on display and when they periodically replace the testers, they throw the old ones out. The stuff she has is probably a combination of old stock, returns, samples, and testers, which is why a lot of the products are full sized. If you look at 6:08 you can see that blush has already been swatched in the middle. At 6:32 the dark brown shadow has been swatched across the middle.
FYI, if you work for a makeup company you get literally BAGS of makeup for very little money, usually because it has a tiny fault like it didn't set perfectly or a small damage on the packaging. The higher the quality, the more tiny the defect so a large percentage of really good quality stuff doesn't make it out of the factory. I used to work for Coty and they would sell employees an A4 size bag of makeup for like $5. But the deal was that you weren't (obviously) allowed to distribute it. Which might have more to do with this guy deleting his account...

Sidney Wilson They are fake. The pigments box packaging has stickers on them, the real boxes have the names printed into the box. If you go to aliexpress.com they have a lot of fake copies like all the urban decay naked palettes, too faced palettes, single mac eyeshadows. They don't show the logos because they could get in trouble. I bought 24 eyeshadows for $24 and they have MAC logo on them and the box packaging looks dead on like the real MAC eyeshadows. You could probably even do Back-2-MAC if you depot the eyeshadows. Its actually pretty easy, if your a MAC employee, to get it for free. If the box is slightly damaged, or the product inside, they give it to the employees. Or sell it really cheap. For example in TK Maxx I got an Estee Lauder blush for £5 reduced from £35, because it was slightly chipped. Thats high end make up for you. If some of those were swatched, you can just wipe off a layer and then sanitize with alcohol spray, that's what MUA's do. No big deal IMO, I'd do that.
The difference between drugstore brands like elf and fake/replica make up is that drugstore brands HAVE to comply with certain hygiene standards, are tested over and over to make sure they're safe to put on the skin, and they're only allowed to use ingredients that have passed safety tests. Fake make up on the other hand doesn't have to have any of that as they aren't an actual brand or sold in drugstores/on reputable websites. They could literally have anything in them, I have seen so many people have the most horrific reactions because of the cheap chemicals they user to make them. And the fact that some of them are used is even more horrific as you have no idea who's touched them. Make up artists are trained in how to properly sanitise their products and they don't just 'wipe them off and sanitise them'. You really should do your research and educate yourself on fake make up because if you're going to say positive things about it then you really have no clue about the damage they can cause or what its doing to the actual brands, Mac even ask people to report fake make products to them because they are so dangerous and could give the company a bad name. Idiot.

Drugstore actually works better for me, Maybelline gel liner has by far worked way better for me than Mac, Revlon foundations are my HG and so on.
I have ethe scandle eyes,mascara, and eye liner in pen form so I use low products I have loads by poundland super drug so think before you say ..😢

Ok. Lol I'm going to wait for everyone to call me a hater. Yes I know this was 4 years ago. My mother did attend the MAC MUA classes so she got her license from MAC themselves! She has worked for MAC and I only use Mac products since I have worn makeup i have cases and cases of Mac in my closet most are me collecting the limited collections. i have seen up to the "lip conditioning stick" all the boxes seem to be dusty and beaten or not closed. The MAC Lip conditioning stick I have previously owned and is always the size of the tube hers looks like it was a 25¢ stuck in a different tube that also failed to say "MAC" The way it's packaged looks very risky and fake. I see people telling her to use these anyway should be sick. Using counterfeit makeup contains chemicals and pesticides and can very rapidly kill the skin and cause cancer. This is just me staying what I see. So come and tell me something you're wasting your time because I truly do not care.

I'm curious to know if either you or Brandon realise that MAC is tested on animals. Not only are they owned by Proctor and Gamble but they sell their products in China which has mandatory animal testing on all cosmetics which are sold in their stores. They don't only use rodents for testing either, Bagels are often used in testing because of their trusting natures.

Beagle was what I meant to say, the dog breed is very placid, trusting and mostly non-aggressive which makes them the perfect breed to test on.
Actually there are plenty of cruelty free cosmetic companies around who actively work to get animal testing stopped and who made sure their products are environmentally sustainable. Most people just don't put the time and effort into looking for them. Proctor and Gamble are a huge parent company who own a lot of brands (such as MAC) but the cruelty free brands are out there.

Jemma Grace we had a lady come into our school who makes make up for mac and we got it all for really cheap (like two dollar lipsticks) some had the actual label on them and some did not the reason it is so cheap is because you are getting it from the maker not the store and I am positive that people who work there most likely have the same connections. It doesn't mean its not mac it just means you are getting it before it goes to stores.

I don't think they're fake. I used to work at a department store at a cosmetic counter right across from MAC . Every so often they'd collect a few boxes of items that were yo be sent out to CCOs (Estée Lauder outlets). They didn't sort anything out (box looked like the one she's showing). All discontinued or limited edition leftover (notice she has a lot of either LE products, discontinued, or damaged things).
Maybe this guy who was accused of stealing managed to take a box of goods that were supposed to be shipped out to the outlet. Weird, but yes if you've ever shopped an outlet the boxes have stickers and the boxes are kinda damaged or bent. I'd feel so bad if someone sent me stolen items!

The Mac is probably real. Mac has testers on display and when they periodically replace the testers, they throw the old ones out. The stuff she has is probably a combination of old stock, returns, samples, and testers, which is why a lot of the products are full sized. If you look at 6:08 you can see that blush has already been swatched in the middle. At 6:32 the dark brown shadow has been swatched across the middle.
FYI, if you work for a makeup company you get literally BAGS of makeup for very little money, usually because it has a tiny fault like it didn't set perfectly or a small damage on the packaging. The higher the quality, the more tiny the defect so a large percentage of really good quality stuff doesn't make it out of the factory.
I used to work for Coty and they would sell employees an A4 size bag of makeup for like $5. But the deal was that you weren't (obviously) allowed to distribute it. Which might have more to do with this guy deleting his account...

If you go to aliexpress.com they have a lot of fake copies like all the urban decay naked palettes, too faced palettes, single mac eyeshadows. They don't show the logos because they could get in trouble. I bought 24 eyeshadows for $24 and they have MAC logo on them and the box packaging looks dead on like the real MAC eyeshadows. You could probably even do Back-2-MAC if you depot the eyeshadows. Brandon probably deleted his RUclips account because he was embarrassed that she found out it was fake and people are telling him that they're fake. POINT IS, THESE "MAC" PRODUCTS ARE FAKE!! Its actually pretty easy, if your a MAC employee, to get it for free. If the box is slightly damaged, or the product inside, they give it to the employees. Or sell it really cheap. For example in TK Maxx I got an Estee Lauder blush for £5 reduced from £35, because it was slightly chipped. Thats high end make up for you. I have seen comments about him stealing stuff, but even if that is true (idk if it is), if he worked for MAC he could've got this free C:
