You talked about how God told Moses that He couldn't see His glory and live, cause our human nature couldn't handle it. And then you said, "but now, when we have received our new bodies."
Does that mean that the stories where people have gone to Heaven could actually be true? My very favorite prophet in the whole world was Kat Kerr. I LOVED her stories about heaven and what's up there. When I discovered she might be a false prophet, it was devastating (I won't go into why). But now that we're in the New Covenant, does that mean that people CAN literally see God and live?

Thanks for your question in response to our Truth and Life Today broadcast. We are pleased to have you following our series on the Biblical teaching of a new heaven and new earth. You raised the question about seeing God in eternity; “Can we? What will we see?”
The story of Moses having the glory of God pass by him, indicates the limitation of human ability to perceive and comprehend God. (Ex.33:20-23) We find the same indication in the New Testament. Paul says that God lives in unapproachable light, and no one has seen or can see Him. (1 Tim.6:16) John echo’s that truth (1 Jn.4:12) So the surpassing vision of God does not shift with the covenant, old or new. It is the nature of God from all eternity. God is Spirit with no physical visibility essential to Him. So, what will be seen of God in eternity?
The presence of God is manifest by His glory - the brilliant light of God. Throughout Scripture His presence is blinding light, pure and overwhelming. Right now, in my pre-resurrected body, that illumination would be too much. We are promised that in God’s new heaven and earth, that same brilliance will not kill us, but will be a source of joy and worship. The brightness of God’s glory will make any other source of light un-necessary. (Rev.21:22,23) Lest we begin to think that God’s presence in heaven will simply be an eternal brilliance, we have this hope.
Rev.22:4 promises that we will see His face. John is referring to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the incarnate manifestation of God in physical form. As Paul says, Jesus is the fullness of Deity in bodily form. (Col.2:9) John says that in Jesus, God was seen, heard and touched. (1 Jn.1:1) Paul expands on the idea of seeing God’s glory in 2 Cor.4. He writes that the glory of God is displayed in Christ (4:4) and we have the brilliance of God’s glory in the Face of Jesus. (4:6)
So, we will see God in heaven, both the brightness of His glory and the smile of His love in the face of Jesus.
Our curiosity craves more details. We want to know more. Yet, we will have to be content with the truth God has given in His Word. Scripture is the reliable truth. When Paul writes that he was caught up to the third heaven, he was forbidden to reveal the details of it. (2 Cor.12:4) We don’t have to know everything to live with hope. Our hope is rooted, not in a full disclosure of eternity, but in Jesus Christ, resurrected and returning.
Thanks again for your support and engagement with our ministry. May God grant you encouragement every day.

The meek will inherit the earth
The gospel is the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM!
Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21
    Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus said the Father is the only true God!
    John 17
3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

Yes Nigel, it IS a literal 1000 years! Don't you think you should take God at His Word instead of making up your own ideas about it?

@@kristabrewer9363 Hi Krista. Thank you for reply. God's mercy is to a 1000 generations... it doesn't stop at #1001. YThe cattle on a 1000 hills belongs to God... so if this is literal the 10001st hill doesn't belong to God. Revelation is clearly symbolic. Revelation 20v1-6 mentions an angel with a chain that binds the devil. Is this a literal chain? Obviously not. Is the Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns literal? Or is it symbolic of the Roman Empire? A literal 1000 years is a Dispensational premillenial interpretation, which is rooted in the Scofield reference Bible which is a commentary not a Bible, and a Trojan horse that infiltrated Zionism into the Body of Christ. Proverbs 30v6 Do not add to His Words. When you compare Scripture with Scripture, it starts to crystallise and becomes clear.

I don't remember this video, but apparently I did see it. Anyway, please read your Bible if still believe that it's not a literal 1000 years (if you truly believe your Bible, then you will know it is).
