- Ciao ragazzi !
I've wanted to upgrade my green basilisk lizards Leo home for a long time.
In his current setup he didn't have much space to move around properly.
So I wanted to see how Leo would react if he had more space.
In this episode I'm installing the misting system , planting the plants and Leo finally moves in !

Turned out so amazing! I love all the footage of Leo enjoying his new enclosure, honestly my favorite part of enclosure builds is the payoff of seeing how they use and enjoy the new space :)

I would break some dragon stone up and cover the bottom of the water part in dragonstone chunks (over the soil) so that he can disturb it less, then you might be able to secure the plants more too.

Thank you so much 😊 he is thriving. Used to sit still in one corner all day. Now he’s much more active. Very inspiring to see. Will definitely upgrade all my animals to bigger better enclosures just to see if their behaviors and overall health improves. 😊
It'll take time but Leo will become tame with a little work, hand feeding, time and proximity. Excellent series, brilliant content.

Totally awesome man love it 😎👌👌👌 was thinking, ma yoda was a really chilled basilisk, possibly the only chilled basilisk 😂, i used to spend a ridiculous amount of time with him , letting him loose in my room and hand feeding him eventually, built up trust over the years and let him ride around on my shoulder 😂😂 hope leo will eventually do the same for you and replace the worried look in his eyes with the arrogant one like yoda had 😂 keep the good videos coming thanks bud

@@terraquaman he was at least a year old when I got him so wasn't a baby i just kept on interacting with him all the time eventually he came around, oh and if hes as greedy as yoda then use food as a bribe 😂

Leo really blends in so naturally like if he was in the wild.. just the enclosure size might still not be large enough to be his permanent home, but aside from that it is already an amazing upgrade compared to his prior enclosure and setup

I bought it from a Swedish store called cyberzoo. I was lucky to buy the last they had and after that they stopped selling it.
I actually want to buy another one but I can’t find anyone that sells it in Sweden.

hi ! Great to see your vid, this Leo- the basilisk is a beautiful looking one, just like his owner lol.....I always love to see large forest tank with both land and water and a lizard living in it (a never come true dream for me), u did pretty great job here ❤ !

Amazing build man! I have some advice for you for gaining his trust stop allowing the cat on top of the tank. He constantly feels preyed upon even in the video the cat was pawing at the glass. That’s the main reason he is very skeptical when u handle him.

Certainly! It's called terra tape. It is a self adhesive tape made of specific moisture-retaining fabric. I'm sure if you google DOOA terra tape you will find a website that sells it.

@@terraquaman 200 x 100 x 200 is a good size for that species. I think you should give the Animal more Branches to climb on. Theres a Lot of „dead space“ in your enclosure … Your Animal will enjoy that 👍
