Halfman, for Mira Ave extract, the flare you need is a 100% spawn on the dead scav right next to the extract. You can take it every single raid. I'm not sure if it's there for everyone, but at least one is guaranteed to spawn. Hope this helps!
Halfman making Tarkov history, the first person to ever die to a 12g slug. I swear, even if I hit someone point blank in the face with a slug they walk it off like I hit them with a pool noodle.
This is why Half is the best, he literally dies so many times and it's always just casual oh man i died no over the top raging and "oh this guys definitely cheating" very just chill dude overall
A lot of his deaths are the same as they would be for anyone else, not being careful enough because he's thinking about something else (like looting scav kills in the middle of the street) or just going too fast. it is nice to see him be realistic and accept that his own decisions are really what caused them.

I like the idea of tarkov--a notional tarkov, if you will--but I could never stand it for long enough to get your level of proficiency. And you have a lot of proficiency! Its not your fault that Tarkov hates everyone who plays Tarkov!!
Understanding what scavs scream is also profitable in this game. Scav who tossed granade said something like "guys, scatter", which for russian speaker would already be enough to press pedal to the metal.

to be fair, picking up USD might not be the worst idea, you can get some early guns from Peacekeeper while also boosting his money spent, the new Uzi is apparently a pretty nice headshot machine. Besides, you can always buy the guns/items, and sell them back to other traders, as a sort of way of exchanging the USD into Roubles (also boosting their money spent, lol).
I'm back from vacation. Time to work (Puts 60s-70s press cap on and dust off typewriter) On this episode of Halfmans bizarre adventures! ACT 1: Ground Zero - From last episode he established his base of operations at some forgotten cellar be twin Ground Zero and Streets. He done some task for Prapor, Skier, Therapist and Mechanic. While doing those tasks Prapor forgot to mention that he needs some red wine for his meal or something, getting this information after he done all the work for Prapor at Ground Zero. Mildly annoyed but determent that he will get that damn wine and get the heck out of the Ground Zero.. Never returning to that cursed place.. For now. - Coming back to the Ground Zero at day with his trusty AK-74 at hand Halfman headed towards the restaurant that Prapor descripted where that wine would be. Stepping inside the restaurant he started look on wine shelves for specific wine bottle. Cause apparently Prapor has taste for one specific wine. Looking around on shelves he heard some faint foot steps on storage area. So Halfman ready's his gun. And BAM. One PMC hits the floor by small burst of automatic fire. Luckily also bullets did not hit other wine bottles cause it would have be catastrophic if one of those bottles were that specific one that needed to be graded. - After healing his gunshot wound. He saw the wine he needed to grab, so he took it and put it on his cargo pants side pocket. He looted the enemy PMC corpse and he grabed his plate carrier, back bag and his MDR. And he start running away from restaurant by a back door. - On his way to extraction he looted some junk items like sparkplugs, nails, nuts and bolts and a stator motor. (I think it is Stator since it does not appear to run by fuel. But by electricity). He also found some PPBS (Igolki) ammo. Quite nasty ammo so better put them on magazine since they are not war crime. - He found another corpse which appear to be looted. So Halfman started to move carefully onward, hopeing that he wont ran in to him or her who slayed this PMC in cold blood. - After while Halfman found himself outside and he noticed body who was not looted yet. So Halfman go for it and it was a ambush by a scavs. They tried to kill Halfman but failed. After that little encounter he started to loot the body. All the sudden.. Vision turned white, hearing his heart beat slowing down... And all the sudden Halfman woke up at the sort of like hospital. In stretcher bed. ACT: 1.5 GROUND ZERO... Again - Halfman notices a large female figure.. Cant make it out from hazy vision since he got jump started by a defibrillator couple of minutes ago. And then his vision clears.. It was Therapist - Halfman walked out of a hospital and he got offered a ride to his hideout via a car. On hideout he grab the TT pistol and went to Ground Zero again.. For round 2. This time he will get that damn wine. If it is last thing he will do! - On Ground Zero Halfman ran straight to the restaurant and grab the wine bottle ran straight to the underground. Picking up a bolt action rifle on his way to extract. On looting a corpse near extraction point he found crazy good ComTac 5 earpros. Finally he got the wine bottle for proper! No more Ground Zero!! ACT 2: RESERVES - Halfman sold the bolt action rifle so he could get good old and reliable work horse of Tarkov region. AKS-74U. And headed towards Reserves. He remembered to heard rumors that there are a lot of valuables to grab and sell for the black market so he can economically sustained himself for while. - Halfman went to mountain base at night and he looted small diary book and Vase. Those will already cover his AK investment. Also got some hideout junk like bolts, bulbs and screws. Nothing else to loot so he head down to bunker level. - In bunker level. He is hopeing that someone would have already turned power on for D2 door. while there he started to loot some containers and cabinets. He has found some items worth selling Gas Analyzer which Therapist want to have. On way to the middle of bunker, he heard foot step and Halfman get his rifle ready to blast that poor bastards skull in. Eliminating potential hostile PMC he looted his larger backpack. Which was full of cigarettes and food & drinks. Halfman was looking at amount to tobacco and thought either this guy serious chain smoker. Or there is someone who really pays top rubble for pack of cigs. Halfman heard running foot steps so he had to run away. But they caught him so he had to eliminate them to move on. On watching the Server Rooms backup power swich he noticed that power is on. This could be a chance to get to D2 extract. So he moved there.. Getting away ACT 3: Return of the Reserve - Heading back to Reserve from hideout in dark of a night, he started to loot cabinets if he could find something useful to use at Hideout, or something to sell for black market. Climbing on 2nd floor of the motor pool area he noticed a scav and blasted him with automatic fire until Scav fell over dead. After that encounter Halfman looted some more useful stuff until he heard foot steps. Getting ready to blow brains out who ever comes through that corner of the hallway. Looting a Scavs body he found stab vest which Skier was looking for, Halfman took it he ran on the roof to check his surroundings. Seeing that are is clear. He moved away from Motorpool for nearby guard house to loot some more fileing cabinets. - After looting the guard house. He had bright idea of using main power swich to make extremely distracting noise so he could extract without seen. Encountering a Scav he tried to eliminate him. But Halfman found how that getting golf ball size hole on the chest is not good for his health. And falls over dead.. Piece of lung somewhere and heart over there.. ACT 4: Reserve part 3 - Electric Boogaloo. - Wakening up again at Therapists clinic. (I'm really afraid to ask how Therapist will find your body and let alone revive you from dead.. Is she practicing necromancy O_o.. God i hope not) Halfman got ride back to his hideout and grab another AKS-74U for his self defense. Heading back to Reserves at morning. Heading towards base building and straight to the bunker levels. Hopeing he could find something useful there. - On bunker level. Halfman carefully tread. Finding some food and water at ration crate. After that find he tread carefully and slowly deeper levels of the bunker. Finding himself at intelcenter. He start looking at cabinets. Hopeing he could find some military secrets to sell. But nothing else but rubbish and junk for hideout. Hearing clear and loud foot steps like someone was running Halfman was ready to give some lead. But non came through a door. Now slightly paranoid but also certain that he is not alone. He must move on. - Moving to surface area. He heard that power is turned on. And alarms went on. Taking advantage of background noise he ran towards 3rd floor of a building. Hopeing he could take a shot. But no chance for it. Chasseing down a guy who ran Halfman found himself at main bunker entrance. He spotted that guy and start taking pot shots at him. Hitting and wounding him severely. Hopeing he could finish him off in one fell swoop but he managed to hide somewhere. Takeing advantage of his cowards. Halfman ran to extraction point. And got away from Reserves. Heading his way to own Hideout by foot. ACT 5: Shadow of Streets of Tarkov - After getting in to hideout and dumping all items at stash. He went to Streets, hopeing to get something out of it. Finding himself at warehouse so he begin the looting of some fileing cabinets and weapon crates. Hopeing he could something he could use. - Finding some better armor than PaCa. He threw PaCa off the window and took old but trusty soviet 6b32. After finding some ammo he left the storage area and moved towards streets. Finding a ambulance and something so holy that Halfman would just pray a lot after this. CMS Kit. A really good find. And also IFAK. Moving towards the under construction office building hopeing to find something. But nothing really has found. So he moved towards construction site. Usually there is a lot of tools to use at Hideout. - At constriction site. He was careful to not step on any pointy and rusty objects, he heard a lot of gunshots so he quickly looted some paracord and screwdriver. He heard foot steps from a another side. Being ready to combat. But foe did not come. So Halfman continued looting some stuff and ran away from Construction site. - After running the construction site. He went to nearby back alley to get something. Until he got ambushed by 2 scavs. Seeing granade flying right at his face and exploded. Halfman woke up on his mattress on the ground at the hideout, it was a horrible nightmare.. After wakening up he was scratching his head and pondering about that dream. It felt real but he is still alive and kicking, and went to make some morning coffee. In next episode of Halfman Bizarre Adventures Halfman is testing out a Uzi, and feeling gangsta at woods! Damn those were rough raids. Sorry for late story. I had to come up a way to getting those killed ones being a bit senseful. And also had some distractions, But otherwise awesome episode :)
Starting to watch this series today, man Tarkov was so fun to play for the very little time I played it. But also very hard to get into imho.. The spawns.. the maps.. I love watching gameplay but damn put me anywhere on a map and I have no idea where to go haha. Finding extracts.. hearing were shots come from.. knowing what Ammo to use.. the learning curve is there, and it's a steep one imho.
Hey halfman the d2 extract only turns green once you go to the button to turn on the extract. D2 has always been like this ever since i started playing 3 years ago. So once you locate the extract and get close to the button you will have the green lettering for the extract itll say smth along the lines of "Press the button!" Once power is on or if its off it will say "Turn on power!". It will turn green once someone activates d2 as well but only once someone extracts out of d2. Im sorry for the long winded explanation i just wanted it to be clear. Long time viewer and i hope you have a great wipe love your videos!
Halfman, there are tarkov trackers online where you can mark quests you have completed and hideout parts you've already grabbed the problem is you just have to remember to manually update it but may be better option than your screenshot idea
Don't know if you've noticed or cared much about the difference, but I believe ComTac 4/5/6(though 5 & 6 is new of course as you most likely noticed)((editing again, sorry, C5's may be totally different than 4 or 6, but 4's were tested months ago by Sheef and you could hear an overweight player out to ~90m when they're running, could've been changed by now but yeah)) are the best headsets when you can get your hands on them. C2's are just a bit better than wearing no headset at all(although they're probably the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of the distance compared to others). Of course the money you have plays a part in what you can buy unless you find one like you did, but they're very worth it with the distance difference with how much you can hear from walking/running. What you do though is of course a smarter option rather than just trying to buy the best of the best. Rags to Riches, after all...

I was kinda going off of what was tested/my own experience but that's all gonna differ with what the person can actually hear and I frequently have my ears ringing and muffled(damn tinnitus!) so I'd trust your judgement more :p
I think after 11 seasons and some side content, its time to drop 2 episodes at once. You record multiple episodes worth during 1 session anyways. 3 raids in 1 hour just isnt enough anymore! GET TO IT! Your editing has gotten sooooo good though. One thing, you never credit the music! you always have bangers and its hard to find them. I do miss the nice stash sorting music you used to have as you worked through it.
Halfman, I dont have my computer right now but at the end of last wipe, the only way to upgrade the hideout was with beer, is it still like that? Or was it just because it was the end of the wipe? If it is still beer, how do you get it? (The actual name was Pevko light beer I think)
In your keybinds, set whichever healing key you have to hold and release. You hold and key you selected, scroll down to the limb and then let go of the key
I don't mean to be a bad guy or anything. But you getting to greedy with the loot sometimes and seem to forget you got to finish them quests. I believe that after getting the quest item, you should focus on exit and possibly loot up towards it, gives you extra advantages and maybe some kills on late extracters.

Once power is on or if its off it will say "Turn on power!". It will turn green once someone activates d2 as well but only once someone extracts out of d2. Halfman, there are tarkov trackers online where you can mark quests you have completed and hideout parts you've already grabbed the problem is you just have to remember to manually update it but may be better option than your screenshot idea
Don't know if you've noticed or cared much about the difference, but I believe ComTac 4/5/6(though 5 & 6 is new of course as you most likely noticed)((editing again, sorry, C5's may be totally different than 4 or 6, but 4's were tested months ago by Sheef and you could hear an overweight player out to ~90m when they're running, could've been changed by now but yeah)) are the best headsets when you can get your hands on them. C2's are just a bit better than wearing no headset at all(although they're probably the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of the distance compared to others). Of course the money you have plays a part in what you can buy unless you find one like you did, but they're very worth it with the distance difference with how much you can hear from walking/running. What you do though is of course a smarter option rather than just trying to buy the best of the best. Rags to Riches, after all...

@@Halfman Understandable, you have been playing for much longer than I have so honestly I'm pretty sure you have much more experience. I was kinda going off of what was tested/my own experience but that's all gonna differ with what the person can actually hear and I frequently have my ears ringing and muffled(damn tinnitus!) so I'd trust your judgement more :p

I think after 11 seasons and some side content, its time to drop 2 episodes at once. You record multiple episodes worth during 1 session anyways. 3 raids in 1 hour just isnt enough anymore! GET TO IT! Your editing has gotten sooooo good though. One thing, you never credit the music! you always have bangers and its hard to find them. I do miss the nice stash sorting music you used to have as you worked through it.

You can highlight certain items by rightclick and adding them to the wishlist. That gun is needed for part of the punisher quest line

Halfman, I dont have my computer right now but at the end of last wipe, the only way to upgrade the hideout was with beer, is it still like that? Or was it just because it was the end of the wipe? If it is still beer, how do you get it? (The actual name was Pevko light beer I think)

How did you select which limb to heal outside of the inventory
In your keybinds, set whichever healing key you have to hold and release. You hold and key you selected, scroll down to the limb and then let go of the key
D-2 was changed last wipe it only shows green when the d 2 door is opened

Active sound equalization. Makes gunshots quieter so you don't go deaf and makes quiet sounds louder like footsteps.

I don't mean to be a bad guy or anything. But you getting to greedy with the loot sometimes and seem to forget you got to finish them quests. I believe that after getting the quest item, you should focus on exit and possibly loot up towards it, gives you extra advantages and maybe some kills on late extracters.
