this is so sweet. i’m spending the weekend at my dads house rn for the first time in so long after i recently was out of town because my grandma was dying and i had to fly to see her last minute. wholesome videos like this just make me appreciate my family so much and i love your guy’s relationship!! my dad used to pick me up from elementary in his huge lifted 4x4 truck and when we would come home he would let me sit on his lap and steer down the street. it’s not the same but this just reminded me of it

It just reminded me of my Mexican dad. He’s always been super supportive of me with whatever I do. I talked about getting a bike, he said he’d pray for me and he knows I’ll be safe/responsible. I never lived with him but he made sure that I felt that connection no matter what! Absolutely reminded me of him. Even as a man, felt like our relationships with our dad’s were a bit similar. Enjoying your videos!

This video is so adorable, you can see just how proud your dad is of you and it’s so healing and heartwarming. Even though he is really proud you can see he’s terrified of the possibilities of something happening, it’s difficult to handle that but he’s showing he cares with very tough love. Honestly you and your dad is super cool. I used to ride on the back of my Uncle bike when I was like 14 all the time it was fun. I’m too scared to actually try riding by myself or learning even tho I’m way older now. Seeing you live out your dream makes me happy. You should post more videos like this even if it’s just you riding with music over we will watch❤️

Dad had a blast. The roller coaster of emotions he was on ... I understood it all lol. Taught my girls to ride, and first it's "go faster!" and when they do its "slow down, slow down!!" Haha. Great vid, fun to watch.

Respect for including dropping the bike in the video. It's embarrassing in the moment, but most riders have had that happen to them. I test-road a bike and when I was bringing it back into the dealer I dropped it in front of the owner of the dealership, smh. Needless to say that is my current bike hahaha, I was going to buy it anyways hahaha so embarrassing. I ride in SoCal too, mostly in the OC. If you see a black 2015 s1k with cool LED Headlights on the 5 or 405 that might be me haha ride safe!

he made a good point to not let your hands go at stops, build a good habit to stay in gear and off to the side of the car your stopping behind. Its saved me 2x from gettin rear ended. Listen to your dad and ride safer or you will have a short riding career. Keep it chill, gain your parents trust, wear the right gear, practice evasive maneuvers. Ride safe!
