Just an FYI, You cannot consolidate back into a transport. The rules for embarking say you need to end your move with 2" of the access points in the MOVEMENT PHASE. That is why you can react into a vehicle, because it's still the movement phase, but as consolidation happens in the assault phase you have to wait until your next movement to get in.
Not that it amounted to much, but you actually can't choose to snap shot template weapons instead of firing them normally. That "can" in the Wall of Death rule is telling you that they're *capable* of snap shooting, not that they can choose to do it. It's just there to make it clear that they're able to snap shoot even though they don't roll to hit.
@NovemberEchoWargaming Yeah, it's an easy one to get wrong. Great battle report, by the way. Should have said that in the original comment, I'm not just here to nitpick 🙂
I love the old school “save the wound on the artificier armor of the sarge”, but I think it should be limited to 3 or 4 wounds. The Typhon shooting at the lascannon squad with the sarge tanking everything was just nuts but anticlimactic. The guy is standing in front of the team just eating a massive missile for breakfast, not even Matt Ward ever wrote something like this. Massive balls tho
At 18:00, I think the Hold the Line reaction does not result in running away upon failure. If morale check is successful, it simply disorders the Fire Drakes, removing the +1 attack for charging. The run away reaction thing is ZM only I think.
Yeah just went back and watched that, think in the excitement we didn't realise and I failed to mark his wound down, fortunately don't think it mattered too much in the end as still had a fun game 😀

Where are all the victory points for the warlord kill comming from?
as per the mission - 5VP if your warlord kills the opponent warlord in a challange - Ed

im afraid it does, if you fail the moral, you run - Ed
@@NovemberEchoWargaming Definitely doesn't say this on page 160 of the AoD Book. Am I missing something?
@pascal9055 I believe its in the FaQ they put out where they updated the reaction
@@pascal9055 You make a Morale Check to see if you hold the line. If you fail a Morale Check, you run.
I dont think Ted will find out about the mistakes. There no chance at all 😃
spoiler....he did - Ed

I hope the Salamanders triumph over those traitors.
i am warming to the sallies...get it? - Ed
Hang about...How's the praetor still alive before the combat 😂
Yeah just went back and watched that, think in the excitement we didn't realise and I failed to mark his wound down, fortunately don't think it mattered too much in the end as still had a fun game 😀
i think excitment got the better of them haha - Ed
Do you not factor in the Ballistic Skill of the unit when calculating scatters? Isn't it number on dice - BS of unit = number of inches it scatters?
if you have line of sight you minus the ballistic skill. if not then its full scatter if the weapon is barrage, like the scorpius - Ed
@@NovemberEchoWargaming Ah I didn't see that LoS was missing. You're right for sure. 🙂
Matthew...youre alive!? youll never know who this is...muhahaha
ill tell him to try and work it out - Ed
Praetor died to the bolters cause he didn't save the shrouded

its what happens when I let the others film for me!....ironically the sallies would have won the game if they had removed the praetor - Ed
