any obsolete but ascended tavern generals can be placed in the senate. so all your hard work isn't gone for good 👍
-If you have a dragon for a mounted general.
*Martinus is still a good F2P tavern general.
*Martinus will combo with almost every old and new general.
*Martinus big issue is defense and HP, but a good assistant will make up for it.
*His update:
a. "when you own", makes him among the best monster hunters.
b. if you win/lucky enough to get his skin, added buffs.
*The red star system.
a. adds Buffs
b. adds to cultivation attribute percentage.
c. adds to overall power (the two crossed swords icon number)
personal thought...i think evony will give a few selected old generals covenants and Martinus will be one of them.
*Have to admit my personal bias for Martinus.
-he is one of the few generals i manage to get 15 copies and able to have at 10 stars.
-I have Washington Prime as his assistant for pvp & maria(stamina 20%) as the assistant for pve.
-My Martinus xPower/overall power is 8.5m and i do not think any paywall general without doing
their red star list can match the 8.5m.

F2P or micro spenders have to know what Tavern generals combo with almost every new general.

*Ground has no good tavern gens. Need to get a good ground from the gens in the trial of knights event. Elise was their and she had good power - but she did not combo well. Happy they changed it up. F2P also have limited amounts of dragons, so that is also a major factor who to get. My advice, if you will put a dragon on your mounted. Make sure all the other types of generals do not need dragons to activate buffs.
Bro, players can proceed with their already maxed generals as a main but there is no point in proceeding with martinus for those who still haven't invested. Unfortunately it do not stand out in almost to all category compared to New Gens. In attribute - only raise in his Leadership looks ok. I didn't include in video as it was getting conjusted to show 4 general stats in 1 picture plus I would have required to mention addition info like attack skill book etc.

When you look at 10-star Martinus w/dragon compared to the new gens w/dragon no star, Martinus still better. When you add the same assistant the numbers for Martinus way better. a 10-star Martinus, a tavern general, is better than any no star new general. He is the exception.
One more thing..."rally capacity" red star 3 on most generals. few have it in gold books and specialties. non so far have it in covenant. So players that are rally setters do your research.
Rally joiners, players that will fill the rally capacity...these are the players that will benefit mostly from a march size combo of the new generals. A Marco/Washinton prime combo used to fill a good rally capacity...way better than Martinus...for this type of situation player.
I wish they would add alot of the older Premium Generals into the Tavern. This would definitely help F2P Players
There's a few thing that you might have miss, this could be impact most of f2p player
When most of f2p reach k35, its time to think of k36 & to get there you need 2x gen with over 5.8m power at the same time, the problem is what if f2p couldn't reach wit new gen, because its not easy to get 2 of 5.8m power gen wit no ascension, more over they don't have that resources to red star new gen, so all in all tavern gen like roland/elektra are still viable & need to get, even their power level drop compare to newer one, there's nothing to get free unless you are lucky as most player are going up not maintain same level
Friend then shift fully refined, upgraded gear and upgraded dragon to General where you would be investing blood of ares, like debuff generals etc it's not like you will stop using blood of Ares.
I used a few premium generals from the love champion rewards and got some new generals that way since % is higher

use relic generals instead. at least easier to collect frags
