- In this general tutorial I go over how to use the comcast remote to access the tv guide, navigate around it, as well as how to access the on demand service.
Sorry that the content is not edited, or scripted. I made it for my mom, but I feel you could get something good out of it if you were new to comcast.

I have the same remote but it's gray. And i have an Xfinity DVR. And i could record shows on my DVR anytime and anywhere. Sometimes i watch On Demand on my DVR. My DVR works perfect!!!!!

i have a different remote i have a new one it is black and it is the new one how do i record on it
@dakdylan not necessarily an HD box, i just had mine install and i have the dvr and the HD box, DVR UI looks so awful, much like lauhmnan 15 is talking about however my 2nd receiver is an HD looks streth just like yours dakdylan but when i try to effing look to see what format i had(turned off receiver then press guide) didnt do any changes then i press hd zoom while its still off and i set it up that i had a WS tv or "b", from then on forward my HD receiver had 4:3 guide. so annoyed.
how are you able to have the tv guide fit to the screen, my tv is as big as your's, but the tv guide is so small?
im getting my installed next week, but mine just is HD receiver, do you have any idea what kind of UI those box uses? i had Dish and there UI is so awesome, and easy to use, it looks like the one you have now...i wonder if they'll have like X1 does, do you know if it does? thanks

how do I get caller ID from my house phone to my laptop?..comcast was no help.

Xfinity X1. Voice control, app access, on demand.
The whole upgraded package.
@@whoknowswhocares885 X1 is pretty nice. It’s crazy how most of the boxes are wireless these days not needing the coax except the main one.

How can we get out of on demand?
The menu or exit button should do the trick

At 6:40, that’s showing how the Ok button could bring up a smaller version of the channel guide. Not sure if this still functions the same as when I posted this video, but worth a shot!
how do you see youre recordings
we’re you able to find out how?
the pigs at comcast cut entire scenes out of the tv shows and there is like an equal amount of commercials vs show. sure, i can FF through the commercials but i can't forgive them for editing out entire scenes, despite how small.
