    Today I am making a homemade sweet, creamy and tangy Texas Coleslaw. This quick and easy recipe will be a hit at your next potluck, BBQ, family gathering or picnic!
    In Texas they put their slaw on all kinds of foods. I love to serve mine on burgers, hot dogs, and even eat it side by side with my BBQ ribs.
    Making Cole Slaw creamy isn't hard at all. The trick is to cover it and let it set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. (Making the slaw the night before is even better!)
    How to make Creamy Coleslaw:
    Ingredients:
    1 head green cabbage, finely shredded
    1 to 2 cups of carrots, finely shredded
    1/2 - 3/4 cup mayonnaise
    2 Tablespoons sour cream
    1 Tablespoons brown sugar
    2 Tablespoons white vinegar
    1 Tablespoon dry mustard
    2 teaspoons celery salt
    Salt and freshly ground pepper
    Directions:
    Combine the shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery salt, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl, and then add to the cabbage mixture. Mix well to combine and taste for seasoning; add more salt, pepper, or sugar if desired.
