That, along with the massive improvements coming on the Ole Miss defense, will make Ole Miss a BEAST next season. I hope Ole Miss meats Ohio State in the post season and smokes them. I want to see Judkins deeply regret his decision to transfer, though I think it was as much the team wanting him to transfer as it was him wanting to leave.
The #1 factor as to why Ole Miss will be an elite passing team next year won't be Dart's talent and improvement (though that will be one of the factors) or the quality of his receivers (another definite factor) but rather the massive improvement of the O line through recruitment and talent development. The only thing that kept Ole Miss from being elite over the last couple seasons was a relatively weak O line that didn't give Dart time enough to set up more passing options.
Ole Miss ran roughly 58% of the time in 2020 and 2021 as well. 2022 they were very run heavy running 61%, but 2023 was back around 58%. They have been run heavy under Kiffen every year and are probably going to run at least 55% of the time next year, and it will probably be 57% or greater.
I think its gonna be closer to 50-50 The Run first offense has taken popularity once again thanks to most defenses being built against the pass Add to that, the RB situation, while not getting better, didnt get too much worse so I can see your pont. However, he upgraded so much at receiver and he has a third year starter at qb Yeah we will see a push towards more passing Like imagine having a top end qb and one of if not the best wr corps in the country and just not throwing the ball
@fate8718 It depends more on what the defense does and the QB read than the players. His offense is very run pass option based. The QB decides whether to hand off, run himself, or pass based off what a specific defender does after the snap.
Tell us you don't know crap about football without actually saying it, LOL. You literally made a comment about something with ZERO knowledge of the topic. Look at Dart's numbers and get back with us.
If he stays healthy there's another serious talent at TE - Hudson Wolfe. Dude has dealth with two serious injuries, but he's massively talented.
Great stuff! Really excited to see how Ole Miss puts it all together this year.
Great analysis Blaine. Most guys don’t see all of the depth and it’s potential.
Best I've heard ever from Blayne!

Haha, no worries. That's my mom's fault! She had to be different in the spelling of the name. Thanks for watching! - Blayne
Well this didnt age well 😂😂😂 remember these days rebel fans when we actually thought our offense would crush it😂😂😂LAST DANCE dart and o line TRASH
Lol r u serious
Why yes, yes we are.
Not!!!
Their qb couldn't throw the ball last year... now all the sudden he is the best...okay..and they were a run first because the throwing sucked
3,364 passing yards, 23 TD and 5 INT behind an average OL. We won't know until the season, but should have an improved OL and improved WR corps.
Hey, God, I guess such poor passing is why he's on the list for Heisman contenders and had 3 receivers each with over 700 yards in receptions....😂😂😂😂

Didn't watch any games, right? Absolutely no facts included in your opinion. Word vomit.
Led the team with the fewest turnovers in college football. Over 3,000 yards passing. But okay he couldn’t throw
LSU will have best passing attack again.
