like fr, why on earth would they remove the most iconic sound in the game and nerf a tower where everything else is balanced around? It makes absolutely 0 sense and the range decrease is just insane. 14 range at max is absurdly low for a support tower.

no idea why tds receives so much undeserved hate nowadays. the updates are so high quality now when compared to even a year ago. they "nerfed" commander because they are trying to make the game less reliant on commander and dj (dj rework???). right now, dj and commander are required in 99% of loadouts, taking up two out of five spots right there and then. i think that this approach can greatly benefit the game as they are working on reworking old outdated towers and adding new unique ones as well. i think tds' future is quite bright and can't wait for what's next! (brawler tower tomorrow lets goooo! 💪)

I feel like spamming commander as both support and baits is more important than getting a placement limit with APC. Feels like the placement limit should be more, or they can find a way to stop players from using APC in more than 3 commanders
They don't need to rework it tbh, as commander is perfect the way it is. Just remodel them and their animation is enough.

Commander has some good reworks. Despite the nerfs in terms of range and fire rate debuff. He is still a good support tower now that he has all the detections like the Engineer. He is a good addition in the Engineer's Family and he will be useful in Hardcore, and in Pizza Party and other event maps when it comes to Flying, Hidden, and Lead combined into one with its buffed damage.
Hence i love it! ❤️
Just need to use him carefully in diff scenarios

I'm glad we have 3 as the max amount of commanders so we can still chain them instead of only having 1 commander destroying a lot of strats
I need to be careful then since it has a placement limit of 3 then no more emergency commander I useally place 3 but sometimes 4 the 4th one is the emergency because if I use 2 call of arms at the same time it would risk my game and turn it into a lost.
The placement limit should be 4 instead.
Plus mix those tanks with military base that would make a great military convoy.
I do like the new voiceline but the John voice would forever be in our hearts

Best Way to Chain Commanders:
Waves before Final Wave: Wait 3-4 seconds before using a commander ability.
Final Wave: Use a commander ability, after 10 seconds use another commander ability, sell & rebuy the first commander, and repeat.
This method is super expensive, but that isn’t a problem when it’s the final wave. In addition, this method is a good way at countering stuns, it makes sure towers are always buffed by 50%, and you’ll always have a back-up commander.

The vehicles health kinda suck because I say that APC’s are really powerful in war and it savers mostly most lives in a war.

after looking at all the skins I have, it looks like the only commander skins that had a major rework are the one that are "Still obtainable"
Eclipse Commander looks about the same (it even has the wooden stool) same with the Holiday commander, and bloxy commander, and according to the discord Springtime commander is just straight out broken.
I do not own, Ghost, Gargoyle, and bunny, but if my theory is correct, wouldn't be surprised if those skins are also not redesigned.
Springtime changed a ton, It’s just you cant place it right now because of a bug
Ghost, Gargoyle and Bunny all got major redesigns. Ghost is AMAZING now, went from C tier to S tier skin for sure. Gargoyle looks better now (in my opinion), haven't seen bunny yet
I want my pirate commander rework
three things I noticed
1. Commander is a spawner now
2. They removed neko commander’s fursuit
3. Accel broke (at least for me)
I’m not mad about most things, they just need to fix the range and How they ABSOLUTLY nerfed the fire rate buffs
Good thing they did rework commander and its stats and am pretty much fine with this new voice actor.
I’m fine with the rework itself. They just need to give commander back. It’s range and it’ll be perfect.
Im 101 percent sure that they decided to rework commander AND his voice lines just to remove john's voice (they have removed john and raz statues from the rocket arena map so thats why im convinced that they did so)

@zebrastripe7990 it was a code skin, they kept it FOR AWAY TOO LONG as a code because they propably forgot about it (then it became expired after alot of time period) and then some time later they removed the statues and they completly forgot about militant or even his skins so im pretty sure they just forgot about it lmao

It seems like John just doesn’t exist anymore. All we have is the skin, and who knows, that might be removed later, too.
