Another tip I forgot to mention in the document- mons can only do up to 10? Health bars per hit, so multi-lens really helps with those bosses. Will do a bit more testing to confirm, but that’s what I’ve noticed thus far.
I did not know this! Good one :D Mind if I use your document and combine some pieces of information with the one I have been working on myself? I am planning on making a definitive ultimate endless guide that does discuss all the late game strategy a bit more in depth ^^
@@zeroz9172 Awesome thank's a lot! I just read the document and I think the thing I wrote is a little bit more detailed as Im already on 9 pages XD. The structure you use in the doc is nice and its super concise so its a good frame of reference for the script of my video. Thanks again!
Hey Callum! I was one of those fans who subbed like 8 years ago but never watched your content consistently. I’ve gotten addicted to PokeRouge and it revived my love for Pokemon. Great to see you still doing your thing and best wishes to you!
I'm the same. One of the last main things I remember watching Cal for was his playthrough of Fool's Gold. Like before apparently it got updated with gen 3 mons
Some extra REAL ADVICE: 1. Changing the Pokémon used in a fight changes the rarities of items available (F5 is your friend) 2. Changing whether or not your Pokémon have full HP at battle end or non-full HP changes your locked reroll string (fished out a couple shiny charms save scumming like that) (3. You can reroll a billion pokébucks, but if you refresh you get it all back. This makes finding core items a lot more grindy but a lot more possible, too)
a tip of my own is to splice shinies together, gives you more space for more shinies you'll catch along the way and actually sums up their luck stat (not sure if they can add up to more than a luck stat of 3)
They can, yeah. I've fused a two sets of rogue shinies for 12 luck in just 2 slots. It doesn't matter late game when your party is just dead weight, but can be helpful pre-2000.
@@professoryorick5676 it's not far fetched that the devs would cap a fused mon's luck stat at the same level of an epic shiny's, that's why i didn't jump to conclusions on that but apparently it's not a thing so all good
With the endless spliced, your starters are spliced with random Pokemon. Starting with a shiny starter actually splices another shiny with it, making all of those common shinies actually have 2 luck (would test with higher rarity if I could but don’t have any). I started with S luck with 5 random shinies, and I got lucky with 2 of them being viable and surprisingly synergistic. A Gastly-Croagunk with frost breath egg move (fits well with shiny gengar’s colors, and the vacuum wave animation while it’s gigantimaxed makes me laugh) and dry skin. A g-Yamask-Fidough with fire claw that later got well baked body. Later that run randomly got a nacli-cufant so salt cure, iron defense and recover go brrr. Also a Staraptor-shedinja with a grip claw, multi lens, thief and dual wingbeat that is just fun. Fun fact, legends that spawn are spliced with other legends (e.g. Latios-Zygarde). I think spliced is a way to have fun with broken combinations and a chance to experience what S luck can get you (got me my first ever master ball for the Latios)
Im just astounded how much this game has blown up! i remember just seeing only a couple hundred people online, and last i checked today, i saw 20k+ online!! Seriously, the dev team did an excellent job for making a roguelike x pokemon game. I have countless hrs on emerald rogue as it is so this was right up my alley! Not a perfect game, still some things that need tweaking mechanically but i'm patient and excited to see this game grow!
My first endless with Hoopa's magician and kartana crazy floor sweeping ( and later some legendaries caught along) made it to the floor 650 it was amazing. Hoopa with scope lens item that makes your attacks hit multiple times ( thus activating magician multiple times) was just crazy.
I recently reached floor 5850 which is the technical limit for endless (game doesn't progress further due to maxing out tokens). My final team was: Calyrex-Shadow + Magnezone fusion: Sturdy; Night Shade, Seismic Toss, Protect, Astral Barrage (for flinching only)/mirror coat (for eternatus fight). They were about lvl 140k, one shotting most regular mons, I got pretty lucky with Candy Jars, maxing them out before floor 2000. Garganacl + Sudowoodo fusion: Sturdy; Soak, Leech Seed, Protect, Salt Cure: Slow boss killer Linoone + Magnezone fusion: Sturdy; Super Fang, Fake Out, Mud Slap, Roar: Doubles partner. If there was a mon I wanted to catch in a double battle instead of running from it I'd do Astral Barrage from Calyzone causing double flinch + Roar --> Master Ball Rapidash for run away Alakazam + Indeedee: Psychic Surge; Disable, Skill Swap, Rain Dance, Protect, Here to protect Calyzone from priority, multihit moves and Mold breaker Kyogre for weather control (removing hail which will kill you upon being brought down to sturdy)
Around 1600+ here, what tokens start showing up as the run goes on? The game seems to shift every 1000 and I'm surprised the cap goes that far, I've no idea what to expect.
Floor 1300+ here. The Multi-lens is still very useful in another way, as I discovered for myself the other night. With Multi-lens and Grip Claw items, Covet on Tinkaton turns the eternatus fights into a resource farm for Golden Eggs, Dragon Fangs, and all the berries. I've gone through 2 Eternatus fights using this strategy, ncluding the floor 1000 boss, of course aided by Salt Cure Garganacl, and I've come out of it with almost 40 Dragon Fangs, which is fantastic for my current main carry: Raging Bolt, with Flamethrower as an egg move, Dragon Pulse, Rising Volt/Thunderbolt, and Thunderclap. This moveset has a counter or answer for just about every Paradox Pokemon boss floor I've encountered, with at least one move being neutral to all the Pokemon, and priority Thunderclap for the very dangerous, but frail, Fairy types Iron Valiant and Fluttermane, which normally give Dragon type carries a ton of frouble. I've also been using Crobat with Haze. In the early game, it can stop you from getting swept just from base speed alone, and in the mid game, Focus Bands and/or Reviver Seed plus Haze can save the day just as well. I will admit though, part of the reason I found this niche for Crobat was that it's my one and only red variant shiny.
Im on beyond 2500 floor by stacking everything on skeledirge. Multilens + Torch song + maxed out carbos stack kills mostly everything. And if not kings rock usually helps me to avoid taking damage. An important tip for etrenatus is to set up 5 direhits before the encounter.
I have an endless run currently that is at around floor 2,000 and one strategy that I can definitely recommend is having a very strong pokemon who can do great damage to eternatus (who as stated, is the biggest threat of your run), preferably with a form change to reach even higher stats (think mega latios, mewtwo, alakazam, metagross etc), and completely ignoring the level cap mechanic through strong arming a bunch of rare candies on said pokemon. With soul dews, nature changing mints, multi lenses and a bunch of rare candies, you can have a pokemon that is completely minmaxxed for damage and who can very realistically stay about twice the level of whatever the cap is on the floor you're at. I recommend minmaxing for damage because enemeis will eventually become just so strong that even an unstab quick attack can do 100k or more damage to your pokemon (yes, even the one that is twice the opposing mon's level), and being honest, at a certain point you simply have to rely on sturdy, focus sash, etc to survive hits.
Yo Callum! I used to watch you a lot back in the day, I actually won a free shirt from you in your 50-100k Sub Giveaway. Dope to see you’re doing well, I’ve been addicted to this game. I actually pulled Kartana super early on into playing this game and won my first run with it. I’ll have to try out Endless with it.
Im way past floor 1000 and one of my must haves is a pokemon exclusive for eternatus. Just for reference you can make any moveset. If you have a pokemon with horrible stats and amazing moveset. You can fuse it change moves around and then unfuse to keep amazing moves into a great stat pokemon. Then you can even fuse it with a legendary for a beautiful crafted pokemon. I have my salty bird i love
My ace at the moment is Hawlucha/M-Scizor Max stack of Grip Claws, Kings Rock, and Multi Lens means I can melt Pokémon with 8 hits of Dual Wingbeat and have them flinch if they survive Thanks for all of the content and being such a great part of the community :^)
I just started a few days ago and was lucky enough to get a shiny Scizor from egg gatcha. Technician boosted dual wingbeats carried me to my first victory last night. M-Scizor is no slouch with speed boost/swords dance. The fighting egg move it has access too is amazing for coverage, not to mention technician False Swipe in the early game to make catching mons all the easier.
Aside from the obvious tips, grass types are great early on. If you don't have a map, you'll tend to cycle through water biomes. There's a lot of water-type pokemon and a decent number of water/ground or water/rock pokemon. Clicking Giga Drain or Horn Leech heals you up so you don't have to buy potions and they usually OHKO. For the same reason, moves like Draining Kiss or Oblivion Wing as an egg move are great. I have a Linoone with Pickup which has NEVER left its pokeball. The amount of berries, lucky eggs, type-boosting items you'll farm in the first few hundred waves is very worthwhile Tinkaton has good defensive typing in general. Sending it out on a pokemon that gets walled and clicking Covet is also a decent way to get items
Currently doing endless with Tinkaton... I felt obligated to click just from the thumbnail lol. Currently running her, shiny Whimsicott, shiny Kilowattel, shiny Infernape, shiny Luvdisc and a Quagsire, cause it's the best I've got. Lol. Only in 126, but I care about shiny hunting the most, so it's whatever.
I've had tons of fun playing endless spiced because it starts me with double shiny luck at the beginning so when you don't have a lot of candies to reduce cost on starters it's a great starting off point for shiny hunting.
I've had success in recent runs with a Mega Alakazam/Magnezone fusion to gain sturdy. That in combination with Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Moonblast, Psychic gives great coverage and eventually the ability to grind everything down. Sturdy let's me survive mons that aren't flinched and then massive recovery network heals the damage. Currently horth of floor 2250 with this setup. Can't forget how critical a Pickup mon is to endless.
I've had alot of success this mon and wanted to put it forward as potentially one of the best picks: marshadow. Marshadow with technician boosted circle throw is godlike, and especially later game, once you stack multi lenses and kings rocks? You're critting past stat buffs on bosses with large HP bars, hitting multiple times over, and just dealing really good damage: I use shadow punch for technician boosted coverage, and I actually got bite and bulldoze from fusing with another mon! Bite 4 times over with kings rocks almost always flinches while being technician boosted, and bulldoze is also boosted and that hitting 4 times is amazing speed control to whatever survives it. Before bite and bulldoze I used two of the three elemental punches, which while not technician boosted, go well with shadow punch and the iron fist passive. I realize any mon can use bite with 3 kings rocks and 4 lenses, but the value is in circle throw crits that are technician boosted :)
kyurem-white / snow warning passive with dragon energy and blizzard has been fun for the past 2000 floors; magearna with salt cure/leech seed/sandstorm/covet to rob eternatus of all his belongings every 250 floors
Keldeo has been very very nice for me as a sweeper with mixed bursed options throughout the early-mid game, egg moves are def a must, but either way you're left with options for a special set with secret sword/work up/hydro(surf)/tbolt or a phys set w/ swords dance/sacred sword/aqua jet/waterfall(TM slot)
Kyogre, if you can get it, is a massive carry in endless. Primal Kyogre with Water Spout and a few mystical waters can sweep pretty much everything and even 1v1 the first 3 Eternatus fights with a not very effective move. Highly recommend it, especially if you get any of its egg moves like Hurricane
I am at 400 with primal groudon, egg move sacred fire, and i m one shotting everything, i m stacking carchoal and soft sand, do you have some advice for the 1000+
I hatched a rare shiny Yveltal and use it in all of my endless runs now. Gets soul heart as a passive, snarl and roost for early game double battles and healing. For mid-late game it just destroys things with oblivion wing for healing and dark pulse + kings rock/multi lens for flinch spam.
The way i made it to floor 2000 is by running mega beedrill, and eventually splicing it with Koraidon. I ran Pin Missile, Scale Shot, Stomping Tantrum for the case i get full para'd or slept, and protect for eternabeam. You can spam out mons with 8-20 hits, each one having a chance to steal items and flinch. Its insane from floors 1000-2000
There is 1 more tips that people should know. Using rare candy after reaching the level limit actually increase your level. Hence, if u get any candy jar. Take it. Candy jar increase your rare candy level up by 1. I got around 60 and it give me that much for every rare candy. It makes your run easier if your tink and legend are higher level than the 50th bosses.
I also started Endless yesterday with the Pokerus Paras :D I have Luck 2 Zubat and Luck 3 Nymble which are both great as well. With Adamant Kartana i'm just slicing through waves. Always leave 1 pokemon slot free so it allows to catch for pokemon with rare items and then transfer them afterwards. I now have 31 lucky eggs and 6 golden eggs while Kartana also has 6 miracle seeds, 3 black belts, 4 soul dews, 2 leftovers, kings rock, shell bell and maxed out berries. Wave 541 now and no end in sight.
I'm so happy you've said Kartana is the best to sweep with!!! Cause my heart felt that way too going into Endless for the first time, and I really LOVE Kartana too because of Beast Boost! I'm going to keep using Kartana now that you've said that! And of course any Pokerus pokemon!
A at over 2k wave so here my other tip If u use metal burst, u want to also use misty terrain cuz the foe have a high chance of cc u later on and u cant atk and give a chance to heal back to full Misty terrain let u block status so u can atk freely So ether have a mon with misty surse or prankster with move that set it up
a few days ago I really got invested into pokerogue and your vids have been really helpful so far! I also got a kartana with mighty kleave from my 2nd epic egg which helped me a lot until eternatus appeared on floor 250 lol
This videos a really good introduction and the document a great guide. In my experience in 2500+ so far soakcure, leech seed, metal burst, nightshade/seismic toss with weather and misty terrain support seems to be standard and have seen people have success just with that and a runaway mon but most runs shiny hunting likely wont need to worry about getting to this point.
I'd actually say the MAIN thing you get from endless isn't the eggs every 50 floors, it's that you will, at some point, have 4 shiny charms and 4 ability charms, capping your shiny and HA chances. On top of that, you run into a LOT of legendaries in 1k+ endless. I'm on floor 2500ish of my first endless run, and I've gotten almost 100 shinies and a few dozen legendaries in the one run so far, compared to the 0 of each I've gotten from classic runs.
recommended you fuse a steel type pokemon with daschbun. this can be any pokemon with steel as it's first type. I'd recommend Melmetal due to it's sheer strength. Daschbun's ability is Well-baked Body, making it immune to fire type attacks. This is the only way to get a pokemon completely immune to Eternatus.
Burmy needs to be female and steel (pink one). If you have passive on it, youve got a sturdy steel type that gets metal burst and protect by level up. It can fuse with another mon like tapu fini for misty surge. That'll carry you the entire run.
The newest meta for fast clears of endless is getting a blissey/gargnacl pair and use their high HP with metal burst (only need ~200k to finish endless). After that's setup, get a run away pokemon and you can collect vouchers so fast.
My advice for anyone setting up endless get a speed nature pokemon with a move like fiery wrath, stack kings rock, multi lens and grip claw in this pokemon, you will have a mon thats procs flinch every turn on enemy pokemon even in double battles and steals a lot of items doing it. I have a fused mega houndoom and meganium set up like this and it solos eternatus with leech seed.
Unnerve is MASSIVE if you can get it. A shiny Corviknight is my favorite carry Pokémon in endless. I normally run that and garganacl + tinkaton or Mawile for eternatus and I’m pretty easily getting into the 1200+ range.
this is great advice man. i just got to floor 1000 2 days ago for the first time and did not prepare myself by removing my items from my tinkaton and now i had to start a new run as eternatus with black hole is just invincible when you have a max stack of every item on your tinkaton 🤦🏽
I found out that manaphy has quiver dance and tail glow as egg move so "baton" item is broken with it . If you have a special attacking team you can pass those buffs around . When I beat the classic mode I had manaphy, klefki, gardevior, magnezone , hariyama, furfuro. For mega ray ->> buffed up magnezone , for normal eternatus --> klefki, for Emax eternatus--> pass your baton to gardevior with psychic and two shot it.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Got a venasaur spliced with blastoise with passive unlocked mega & dynamax running leedh seed, blizzard, giga drain, bouncy bubble, its an absolute monster and can tank hits from eternarus pretty well, and melts it with blizzard. Then got mega latios as backup, with 14 luck, mowing through endless no problem. Venasaur is an absolute goat, that thing carried me hard through my first classic clear
I personally think that Xerneas is the most broken legendary in pokerogue, stab fairy aura bossted moonblast one shots almost everything. Also do not forget geomancy boost. After 1 geomancy, it oneshots even boss pokemon with neutral moonblasts and also oneshots normal pokemon that resist fairy. it is broken
A fusion I wanted to mention that was kind of a happy accident for me was Magaerna and daschbun (forgive me if I spelled these wrong). Giving magaerna well baked body meant no fire weakness so if they do ever change eternatus to have flamethrower, it will never hit you
this video saved my endless run cus i was at floor 2000 and didnt have any sturdy mons and now at floor 3000 my two sturdy mons are the only things keeping my run going
Insane doc and greay video. Was thinking this was becoming so tough (wave ≈2570) to be able to muscle threw the opposing Pokemon. Now I understand the techs, didnt know about the run away stuff and learned really late about thicc metal burst user. Guess it's time for a new run !
My goat right now is amnesia yawn mud slap thief quagsire with max grip claws and multi lens. You get all the eggs and boosting items, plus you don't need a healing move because infinite sitrus and enigma berries. This combined with someone to lower their stats before hand who isn't weak to grass (noble roar kommo-o or toxtricity) and ur golden
Quaqaval with Moxie is amazing does a lot of work for me and I am currently somewhere near wave 500s and I have a lot of good items on it like the grip claw, golden punhc, baton pass, and a few others helping it steal more items and giving me money each time it kills.
Got into pokerogue after seeing all the videos and had a cracked endless run going but lost to a virizion because I forgot about justified. Tough to start again but excited to start it up again
Bro you need to try the fusion of zacian and heatran (Fairy/Steel type) and the ability of heatran stays (Flash Fire) This makes you immune to Eternatus attacks. (Eternabeam, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower....)
ngl your the type of person where if i saw you on the street i would cross the road instantly i would NOT think you are here nerding out over pokemon but ty for the advice it helped a LOT x
I've got huge power tinkaton fused with sand force excadrill right now in my endless run, waiting to find a sand setter. I also have a skeledirge holding a multi-lens, so torch song goes nutty
Had a run that has taken me to over 750 so far mainly because fusing skeledirge with spectrier + switching in and out with a random fairy type I caught before 750
Right now I have 3 Gmax pokemon (Corvanight, Toxicity and Charizard) and I've been lucky getting a lot of silk scarfs (7 so far) from pick up and rerolls. Boomburst Gmax toxtricity is so busted, not even resisted types couldn't survive it.
I did my third classic run today and I was flabbergasted at the fact that the Eternatus at the end was a shiny. It was in Classic! Sadly I was nowhere near finishing the dex, so I couldn't use the masterball I got on him :/. BTW: He had Black hole. It seems that when he's shiny he has it, even in Classic.
i got to like 810 with hoopa-u and the rest of my team shiny for item luck (magician kinda nutty in this mode) but i think my hoopa had 2 multi-lenses and 3 kings rocks with dark pulse spam for almost perma flinching enemies but i've been trying other mons since, kartana is pretty fun i think i tried him after seeing you talk about it :]
hii, discovered pokerogue here so figured I'd ask here lol passives work alongside abilities right? just asking if technician works with normalize, just got it for meowth and im not really sure how those two synergize with each other thanks in advance!
Today i won my first classic mode with: Scheledurge(spam snarl to eternatus) Mega Venusaur(leach seed for the win and giga drain) Toxapext Extradrill(sword dance) Annihilape(by far the most useless lol)
Been using regieleki fusion. Nearing 2500, but things have slown done considerably. Should I keep jolly, or swap for adamant? Realistacilly, I can't imagine most ordinary things outspeeding me even without jolly cuz of max carbos and 145 base speed.
Hey Callum, it turns out that there is an end to endless because the dev simply made the final room at like round 6k because he never thought anyone would make it to that point… until someone did I’m just now seeing this was mentioned
curse(ghost)/saltcure/leechseed are all very amazing moves to use against eternatus and even the 50 bosses. my prankster banette with curse. and my prankster klefki with saltcure/mistysurge is amazing. all of my mons that i dont use have protect and my clear mon kartana just nukes all floors. (2057 right now)
Rain boosted water spout from an overleveled Primal Kyogre goes brrrr. But even that wont work after floor 1000 or so. So instead I fused Kyogre with Garganacle for sturdy and all the healing item to become basically immortal. This plus reviver seed leech seeder and salt curer can handle eternatus without full immunity. So far I'm in floor 2300 and usually don't struggle except against boss with double resist that I just use masterball against.
I'm still on my first endless and i feel stuck in it with no end in sight. I am gaining insane metaprogression, but don't get to see any of it since i feel stuck in it. Got lucky and had a mewtwo as a starter which has insane speed, spatk and movecoverage for it so there were no issues to get starting. One thing i did and notice was missing here is splicing the shinies together just for space (they keep the combined luck), that way i was able keep a spot to catch pokemon with good items just to distribute them to pokemon i actually use. I had no pickup or candies, but compensated easily like that for items and exp with eggs.
Btw does anyone know what the pokeball that normally represents that you already caught the pokemon means? The grayed out pokeball is throwing me off on that.
@@HoodlumCallum Thanks. Got me all sorts of confused since the "completed" one showed up on ones i thought i couldn't have enough of while ones i've gotten a lot had "missing" ones.
Just had an insane run with Bolt Beak Zekrom. Fused it with a Landorous T and it was bulky and did insane damage at the same time. Sadly, I couldn’t beat floor 1000 as I did not have a fairy steel type. But other than that it was a great run 👍
7:25 I will update you that Eternatus DOES have flamethrower at round 2000. I know i just lost my whole run to this move I also had tinkaton to stall him to death but this was not on plan do I’ll just start a new run now
Wouldnt calyrex with the ghost horse be pretty good ? Special version off moxie + not allowing the enemy to eat berries sounds rly good. And with its passive to buff its own berries it gets even better
"I don't think many people like Endless Spliced that much" Me, the Endless Spliced enjoyer: 😎 I just like the fusions, man, it's fun to see what ridiculous combinations the game throws at me.
on wave 1252 rn and my setup is regigas/shiny azumaril - which is by far the best mon i have because of all the stacks and items i have on it kartana/reshiram - also really strong and good typing gholdengo/mega diancie - best typing mega gyarados/kartana - really good mon and good typing guzzlord/shiny garganacl - salt cure sturdy beast and mega gengar - hes just there for being a ghost type gigas is easily the craziest mon ever as it just defies logic with how op huge power is coupled with items like kings rock, multi lens and soul dews outside of gigas i only use kart/reshi or ghold and barely touch anything else cuz its not even needed lol etern is by far the most annoying mon to face because its just stall until i get lucky with a focus band and gigas just brute forces hopefully i can slowly continue this run cuz this is legit the best i can get and ik ppl who have gotten way further than this. like 2000s also i wish i knew about 1k etern yoinking all my items cuz ghold lost like EVERYTHING lmao
Currently on Floor 2050 with my endless run. First 2000 floors I 1 shotted damn near everything with my bolt beak, dragon dance, outrage zekrom (he even solo beat the floor 2000 eternatus) but i'm definitely hurting now.
Its wild to me, you didnt mention lucky egg stealing, i feel like its what made early endless alot easier for me, just using my pickup linoone as a covet/thief stealer and try to get the lucky eggs off the enemy pokemon helped me so much, if i get unlucky i catch the pokemon im facing, but that does reguire having 1 spot in your party,
I think the advice of transfering items like leftovers, multi lens and whatnot to a diferent pokemon when fighting E-max eternatus is not too necessary imo, atleast for stage 1000 and 2000, yes eternatus can steal your item because of the black orb, but you can also steal them back, and not only that you are suposed to be strong enough to nuke eternatus fast and even then the odds of those items being stolen shouldn't be too high when you will have other items that eternatus can randomly steal like damage boost items, lucky eggs and berries. I think that advice is better for stages 3000 and higher where your multi lens won't be as valuable since you'll likely be using nightshade or seismic toss for damage in those higher stages and at that point you don't want to risk eternatus stealing your leftovers, shell bell or focus band.
Zacian's great, but I think Zamazenta's better for everything except Eternatus. ...I mean, Zamazenta with the Body Press egg move. The busted one that uses your Defense stat for damage. So you're looking at the same massive damage as Zacian using Behemoth Blade, but with *significantly* stronger defenses.
I'm only like on floor 270 or so but yeah Zama has hard carried me up to this point, with other pokemon for various utilities. Only downside is that I only have 1 shiny on my team composition. I kinda need DNA splicer so I can open up room for more and just compress my roles.
I got lucky with a shiny beldum early on so I bring him, mega him then fuse him with mega mawile to get huge power, I'm currently on floor 1,600 something with 4 shiny charms (which is max) I'm having a blast. Just farming shinies and egg vouchers

I'm the same. One of the last main things I remember watching Cal for was his playthrough of Fool's Gold. Like before apparently it got updated with gen 3 mons
Some extra REAL ADVICE:
1. Changing the Pokémon used in a fight changes the rarities of items available (F5 is your friend)
2. Changing whether or not your Pokémon have full HP at battle end or non-full HP changes your locked reroll string (fished out a couple shiny charms save scumming like that)
(3. You can reroll a billion pokébucks, but if you refresh you get it all back. This makes finding core items a lot more grindy but a lot more possible, too)
Tip no 3 is so genius thanks
a tip of my own is to splice shinies together, gives you more space for more shinies you'll catch along the way and actually sums up their luck stat (not sure if they can add up to more than a luck stat of 3)
They can, yeah. I've fused a two sets of rogue shinies for 12 luck in just 2 slots. It doesn't matter late game when your party is just dead weight, but can be helpful pre-2000.
if 1+1=2 then 2+2=4 and 3+3=6
so yes, it should increase the luck stat past 3

Currently on floor 328 rn and just can confidently say is a billion times more fun than classic i enjoy the unpredictability
Idk man, I lost a run on 390 to a polchagheist because it lived not one not two but three moves that should’ve taken it out, and healed with berries.
@@trainerrichard6859 thats just pokerogue
@trainerrichard6859 on the 1000 waves it's a nightmare
Bro get to 550 and say that again. This game mode is so terribly designed past 500ish
@@blankblank6853 erm how about i don’t care??????
Im just astounded how much this game has blown up! i remember just seeing only a couple hundred people online, and last i checked today, i saw 20k+ online!! Seriously, the dev team did an excellent job for making a roguelike x pokemon game. I have countless hrs on emerald rogue as it is so this was right up my alley! Not a perfect game, still some things that need tweaking mechanically but i'm patient and excited to see this game grow!
1 month later and it's way bigger. Hopefully it'll be like showdown and nintendo will just leave it alone
My first endless with Hoopa's magician and kartana crazy floor sweeping ( and later some legendaries caught along) made it to the floor 650 it was amazing. Hoopa with scope lens item that makes your attacks hit multiple times ( thus activating magician multiple times) was just crazy.
*multilens
@@shaunpathrosepaul6804 right! I was thinking of one while looking at the other when writing this lol
yeah, magician hoopa unbound kinda nuts too, steal an item basically every hit, you just gotta get the prison bottle
I recently reached floor 5850 which is the technical limit for endless (game doesn't progress further due to maxing out tokens). My final team was:
Calyrex-Shadow + Magnezone fusion: Sturdy; Night Shade, Seismic Toss, Protect, Astral Barrage (for flinching only)/mirror coat (for eternatus fight). They were about lvl 140k, one shotting most regular mons, I got pretty lucky with Candy Jars, maxing them out before floor 2000.
Garganacl + Sudowoodo fusion: Sturdy; Soak, Leech Seed, Protect, Salt Cure: Slow boss killer
Linoone + Magnezone fusion: Sturdy; Super Fang, Fake Out, Mud Slap, Roar: Doubles partner. If there was a mon I wanted to catch in a double battle instead of running from it I'd do Astral Barrage from Calyzone causing double flinch + Roar --> Master Ball
Rapidash for run away
Alakazam + Indeedee: Psychic Surge; Disable, Skill Swap, Rain Dance, Protect, Here to protect Calyzone from priority, multihit moves and Mold breaker
Kyogre for weather control (removing hail which will kill you upon being brought down to sturdy)
Around 1600+ here, what tokens start showing up as the run goes on? The game seems to shift every 1000 and I'm surprised the cap goes that far, I've no idea what to expect.
What were your s tarters on this run ? I am currelntly struggling with M-Gyarados 2800+ and consider starting a new run
How does Calyrex learn Seismic Toss?
how did you get leech seed and soak on gagrg+sudo, through TMs?
@@FuZioNKY you can fuse anything that has seismic toss/leech seed, then unfuse and the base Pokemon will keep those moves
I noticed that in my 3500 run as well, crits do ridiculous damage to multi-hp bars. I think they must bypass the damage mitigation of the bars.
@@silentassassin4815 Crits ignore defensive boosts so maybe its related to that somehow
Yeah, I'm abusing Mega Scizor with Storm throw, and 100 blackbelts.
It just kills it.
Also, megas stay when fused. So i have a mega gengarizard Y. Amazing pokemon fr
My ace at the moment is Hawlucha/M-Scizor
Max stack of Grip Claws, Kings Rock, and Multi Lens means I can melt Pokémon with 8 hits of Dual Wingbeat and have them flinch if they survive
Thanks for all of the content and being such a great part of the community :^)
The amount of berries, lucky eggs, type-boosting items you'll farm in the first few hundred waves is very worthwhile
Tinkaton has good defensive typing in general. Sending it out on a pokemon that gets walled and clicking Covet is also a decent way to get items
i hatched an epic shiny Nymble yesterday 🤩 and it gave me 40 candies so i unlocked technician straight away it’s sooooo good
Do you know how to get infinite eggs?
A at over 2k wave so here my other tip
If u use metal burst, u want to also use misty terrain cuz the foe have a high chance of cc u later on and u cant atk and give a chance to heal back to full
Misty terrain let u block status so u can atk freely
So ether have a mon with misty surse or prankster with move that set it up
a few days ago I really got invested into pokerogue and your vids have been really helpful so far!
I'm on floor 2500ish of my first endless run, and I've gotten almost 100 shinies and a few dozen legendaries in the one run so far, compared to the 0 of each I've gotten from classic runs.
i talk abt this too
recommended you fuse a steel type pokemon with daschbun. this can be any pokemon with steel as it's first type.
Hoopa with magician is OP, I maxed out all items infinitely and currently at 2000+ stage (I also have Zacian and 4 shiny spliced for support)
Unnerve is MASSIVE if you can get it. A shiny Corviknight is my favorite carry Pokémon in endless. I normally run that and garganacl + tinkaton or Mawile for eternatus and I’m pretty easily getting into the 1200+ range.
Nice video. Would love to see you go over how to catch wild pokemon easily
this is great advice man. i just got to floor 1000 2 days ago for the first time and did not prepare myself by removing my items from my tinkaton and now i had to start a new run as eternatus with black hole is just invincible when you have a max stack of every item on your tinkaton 🤦🏽
I found out that manaphy has quiver dance and tail glow as egg move so "baton" item is broken with it . If you have a special attacking team you can pass those buffs around . When I beat the classic mode I had manaphy, klefki, gardevior, magnezone , hariyama, furfuro. For mega ray ->> buffed up magnezone , for normal eternatus --> klefki, for Emax eternatus--> pass your baton to gardevior with psychic and two shot it.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video bro.
I hit lvl 2000 with archaludon as my main and glimmora as my secondary.
Getting hard so will try the fairy/steel combo. 🎉🎉
Hey Call! Is there any chance you can make an updated video with the new passive changes, and any other changes that have occurred?
Cloyster with shell link and multi lens is insane as well hard to start out but great later on
I personally think that Xerneas is the most broken legendary in pokerogue, stab fairy aura bossted moonblast one shots almost everything.
Giving magaerna well baked body meant no fire weakness so if they do ever change eternatus to have flamethrower, it will never hit you
They changed eternatus to have flamethrower
this video saved my endless run cus i was at floor 2000 and didnt have any sturdy mons and now at floor 3000 my two sturdy mons are the only things keeping my run going
Amazing info!
Got from floor 0 to 800 in the same day
my metwo carries in 1300 plus floor
needed this so badly thank you!
Bro you need to try the fusion of zacian and heatran (Fairy/Steel type) and the ability of heatran stays (Flash Fire) This makes you immune to Eternatus attacks. (Eternabeam, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower....)
Klefki Zacian is my endless core with Zacian being the carry from 1-749 and if it faints foul play klefki with magician and multi lens solos
ngl your the type of person where if i saw you on the street i would cross the road instantly i would NOT think you are here nerding out over pokemon but ty for the advice it helped a LOT x
I've got huge power tinkaton fused with sand force excadrill right now in my endless run, waiting to find a sand setter. I also have a skeledirge holding a multi-lens, so torch song goes nutty
Shedninja wonder guard seems tempting to bring
Why was shiny Regice black when it’s only the first rarity shiny? I thought the normal gold shinies all had their regular shiny palettes?
MORE CONTENT! Love this! I will click every video!
Its nice to know that floor 50 is the hardest part. Considering that's the furthest I've ever gotten lol
i got to like 810 with hoopa-u and the rest of my team shiny for item luck (magician kinda nutty in this mode) but i think my hoopa had 2 multi-lenses and 3 kings rocks with dark pulse spam for almost perma flinching enemies but i've been trying other mons since, kartana is pretty fun i think i tried him after seeing you talk about it :]
hii, discovered pokerogue here so figured I'd ask here lol
passives work alongside abilities right? just asking if technician works with normalize, just got it for meowth and im not really sure how those two synergize with each other

Today i won my first classic mode with:
Scheledurge(spam snarl to eternatus)
Mega Venusaur(leach seed for the win and giga drain)
Toxapext
Extradrill(sword dance)
Annihilape(by far the most useless lol)
Been using regieleki fusion. Nearing 2500, but things have slown done considerably. Should I keep jolly, or swap for adamant? Realistacilly, I can't imagine most ordinary things outspeeding me even without jolly cuz of max carbos and 145 base speed.
Hey Callum, it turns out that there is an end to endless because the dev simply made the final room at like round 6k because he never thought anyone would make it to that point… until someone did
I’m just now seeing this was mentioned
curse(ghost)/saltcure/leechseed are all very amazing moves to use against eternatus and even the 50 bosses.
my prankster banette with curse. and my prankster klefki with saltcure/mistysurge is amazing. all of my mons that i dont use have protect and my clear mon kartana just nukes all floors. (2057 right now)
If anybody doesn't have catch a mythical, I think there's still a little bit of time to do the daily run and snag a meloetta.
Im @ 4100 currently and im using a mon with sturdy, salt cure, seismic toss, and night shade. Taken me most of the way without much effort
@@lukasal91 greyed out just means the pokemon has something you dont have. Gender, form, ability.
I know i just lost my whole run to this move I also had tinkaton to stall him to death but this was not on plan do I’ll just start a new run now
same thing happened to me
Wouldnt calyrex with the ghost horse be pretty good ? Special version off moxie + not allowing the enemy to eat berries sounds rly good. And with its passive to buff its own berries it gets even better
"I don't think many people like Endless Spliced that much"
Me, the Endless Spliced enjoyer: 😎 I just like the fusions, man, it's fun to see what ridiculous combinations the game throws at me.
on wave 1252 rn and my setup is
regigas/shiny azumaril - which is by far the best mon i have because of all the stacks and items i have on it
kartana/reshiram - also really strong and good typing
gholdengo/mega diancie - best typing
mega gyarados/kartana - really good mon and good typing
guzzlord/shiny garganacl - salt cure sturdy beast
and mega gengar - hes just there for being a ghost type
gigas is easily the craziest mon ever as it just defies logic with how op huge power is coupled with items like kings rock, multi lens and soul dews
outside of gigas i only use kart/reshi or ghold and barely touch anything else cuz its not even needed lol
etern is by far the most annoying mon to face because its just stall until i get lucky with a focus band and gigas just brute forces
hopefully i can slowly continue this run cuz this is legit the best i can get and ik ppl who have gotten way further than this. like 2000s
also i wish i knew about 1k etern yoinking all my items cuz ghold lost like EVERYTHING lmao
dawg how do you have 2 kartanas
@@itchyteeth7924 so one was my starter and i found 2 in the wild funnily enough

thank you bossman, this information is valuable
Woobat is the fastest mon in classic. I dont know why but simple soul heart goes HARD
I guess I got lucky, because the first legendary I caught was kartana and that carried me through classic mode.
Currently on Floor 2050 with my endless run. First 2000 floors I 1 shotted damn near everything with my bolt beak, dragon dance, outrage zekrom (he even solo beat the floor 2000 eternatus) but i'm definitely hurting now.
maybe a dumb question but how did you get bolt beak on zekrom?
Me literally finding this video a couple weeks from now.
Now that tink isnt going to have huge power will you make any changes?
780 is my record, had kartana and 5 shinys for luck (they were built around stall)
Got destroyed ob my first endless run. Was around level 35 at floor 60 and got wrecked by a level 50 goldengho. Feels bad lol
Its wild to me, you didnt mention lucky egg stealing, i feel like its what made early endless alot easier for me, just using my pickup linoone as a covet/thief stealer and try to get the lucky eggs off the enemy pokemon helped me so much,
if i get unlucky i catch the pokemon im facing, but that does reguire having 1 spot in your party,
Whats ur opinion about manaphy, rn im passing endless mode only with him its too much op xD
Question what are some alternatives for kartana
Question. What egg is meltan from
I think the advice of transfering items like leftovers, multi lens and whatnot to a diferent pokemon when fighting E-max eternatus is not too necessary imo, atleast for stage 1000 and 2000, yes eternatus can steal your item because of the black orb, but you can also steal them back, and not only that you are suposed to be strong enough to nuke eternatus fast and even then the odds of those items being stolen shouldn't be too high when you will have other items that eternatus can randomly steal like damage boost items, lucky eggs and berries.
I think that advice is better for stages 3000 and higher where your multi lens won't be as valuable since you'll likely be using nightshade or seismic toss for damage in those higher stages and at that point you don't want to risk eternatus stealing your leftovers, shell bell or focus band.
I had Pokémon with pickup but it didn’t let me transfer, can you not transfer on endless?
