When he pick up the electric guitar... automatically the band sounds like Rainbow!!! Which means that he didn't lose his touch, he plays like he always did just a bit slower...
Blackmore will more than likely NEVER resurrect DP or RB...and it don't matter, he is rocking right here! Blackmore's Night is one of the freshest things going in this musical wasteland a long time, enjoy it!

First concert in '73 or '74 with Coverdale telling Astrodome crowd to run down on the field opening with "Burn"!! (Dio with Elf at same show) And coming in late to Rainbow in Columbia,SC serenading us with "Silver Mountain" in '78. Glad he is still active, creative and theatrical force.
The opening segment's 'aura' reminds me of that of Spinal Tap's 'Stonehenge', the part where the dwarfs come out and start to dance. Not the tune, just the feeling. I love Blackmore's Night, that being said, and Spinal Tap!

my best guess is a mandoline or Lute, yes traditional lutes need a bent headstock but its too big to be a mandoline. i know the intrument but idk the name

No question when you hear that Strat screaming , you know it's Blackmore I love this stuff he is doing , and he does sneak in Rainbow ,
