Wow that was funny/concerning how one bugie can disrupt the others like that. I only have had 3. one has past recently and left my other alone so i had to get another to comfort him as i'm not around alot. It took a week in separate cages but they are now bud's after acting out a bit. I'm new to caring for them as they all flew into my lap literally and i am a growing owner to them but I love them to death. This video makes me understand what to look out for in future if i get more so thank you for it. :)
this is all wonderful! Plenty of budgies that can be "fully birds": - no cruel single keeping - no cruel clipping wings - no cruel ignorant spirit of the owner... ----> Just the opposite But I return to always the same aspect: offer them lots of branches, leaves and herbs! If you offer them natural branches and herbs....this will be birds-heaven!
I don't think its cruel to keep just one! I've owned only one before and he was a very happy guy, he also had a finch to socialize with and it worked out great! I'm getting another budgie to put with my canary in a couple of days.
I love how you let your birds be birds! Which means: budgies are higly social swarm animals. They wanna lead their complex social life with small fights and kissing and so on. Since I have to new girls - since 3 weeks - my men are constantly kissing with those girls. The male partners of those men in part FIGHTED about the men...this was heart-breaking....but now they arranged everything so that the group is functioning again -> and better than before... Budgies without that social issues - that they can only handle when they are a swarm and within a swarm - are kept without anything: even take away the flight-possibility is real cruelty! Thank god you do it right! (the branches inside and on on the cage and at the wall will follow, as we said :-)) )
I got a new female 4 days ago and the other birds didn't seem to happy about it but now they are just fine, and soon two more are coming and a really larger cage. Love to watch them socialize they are so much fun my life wouldn't be the same without a bird in it😊
I get a kick out of Olive the trouble maker! Every yellow budgie I have had was a rebel rouser like her. My budgies and I really enjoy your videos.
Tweety and Twitter are loving this vid
You have beautiful budgies and I like them.
These Budgies are having a wonderful time. Not necessary to intervene.
David Keeler yes, but the males at the time would fight and peck at each other. did not want anyone to have injuries.
this vid out of most of ones I put on makes my budgie loud, thanks
Those birds crack me up!

Olive is determined to keep order :)
Quite the bossy one, that Olive is!
