  • We attempted a Knik Glacier run - got BURRIED in a snow drift on the way...and almost made it - Come along and see what it is like to go off road in the Last Frontier - Going places that usually only quads and side by sides dare to venture.

You need to add trail cables to your rig. It'll take the smaller brush and branches from smacking your windows. They usually go from the brush guard to above the mirrors.

I agree 100%. Took a beating this weekend at wishbone lake. Trying to figure out the best way to make them easy to remove to open the hood.

I just ordered some limb lift cables (for a jeep) and will modify to fit.

Easy one. 3/16 cable, two small quick links and a decent 4 inch spring. Get enough cable so you can make three small eyelets, one at either end and one about 3.5 inches from one end. Weld an eyelet to the corner of your brushguard and one of the d-rings from the bed you don't use goes at the corner of your windshield into the A pillar. Quick link the cable to the d-ring and one at the brushguard, then use the spring at the brushguard side and also to the eyelet. This keeps it tight while driving in the woods and just enough pull for removal. When not on the trail, wrap it along the top and latch it to the C pillar.

Yes. But it is in need of some
Repair first. It came off a damaged truck. I’d like to modify it with some tubular bars and lights and tie it into the hood lift hooks. It really helped on the trail so I could see the absolute edge of the truck and if you watch on the video it pushed the brush back and kept the nose and lights from breaking.

What are you running for tires and are they good in the snow?

@@C0VFEFE they are interco brand super swamped truxxus. I think they do pretty well in the snow. They have a deep side pad that seems to add good grip. Also using dual sided need locks. I did a video on them here. ruclips.net/video/WrLGsyeEMow/видео.html
