Yep, this is a great game. But if you don't care about import costs, play the Dreamcast version. Otherwise, PS2 version is probably the best. GameCube version (and this is coming from someone who LOVES the GameCube) sucks, controller is not meant for 6-button fighters.
It's super weird to see this not played 2 out of 3 (maybe a time restriction?) and the screen flickering was really off-putting, but who cares! It's 2018, it's CvS2, and it's players that use more people than just Sagat/Cammy/Bison all the time. I count this as a major win!

If we ever get a CvS 3, I hope for MUCH better balancing. It gets tiring seeing Blanka/Sagat and even Cammy in every single fight. Kinda makes one of the greatest fighting games ever look like Smash Melee. And that's not good.
have you ever seen the top 8 of a 3rd strike tourney? youre gonna see disproportionate top tier representation in all games, that's the nature of fighting games

You know why we will never see CvS 3? It's because SNK is dead. It would be like Capcom vs. WCW! LOL. Anyhoo, I was heavily disappointed in CVS1, CVS2 and Snk V Cap chaos or whatever the hell it was called. It all sucked, RIP.

Probably a problem while capturing the game, considering they are actually using NAOMI boards, is harder to record.
