Thank you. Very clear and concise video. My only (very minor) quibble is: the kit parts you refer to are correctly identified as the setter, the part struck by the hammer, and the anvil, the part underneath that holds the eyelet assembly when the setter is struck.
Thanks for your video, but i'm totally stumped, I want to make jewelry pieces or faux leather, I plan on putting on the small 3mm eyelets, which I just bought. But when I got them there wasn't a tool to set them in with, would you happen to know which tool will I need to set the 3mm or even a 4mm eyelet?
I suppose you could, but you would have to be really careful that you have it fully closed on itself. I recommend buying the package with the kit to make sure you get a really snug fit. You can find it here - www.onlinefabricstore.net/dritz-1-4-inch-large-nickel-eyelet-kit-.htm

We have an eyelet pliers! You can find them here- www.onlinefabricstore.net/dritz-eyelet-plier-kit-.htm
Hi there, thank you for your helpful reply & i'm glad that you included this link.
Is it possible to put the eyelets in without the tools?
I’m wondering the same thing!

Happy to help!
Wow! That was easy! Thank you!
You bet!
gr8 vid, btw., some1 said the 2 part style is called gromet, & eyelets are somehow only 1 part👋(watevr thO)
Thanks so much this helped me a lot ❤️
Helpful! Thank you.
You're welcome!
This is a grommet which is different than an eyelet.
Go tell the manufacturer- that's what they are called on the packaging...
Thank you, I’m doing this for my tapestry’s to hang on a hook so I don’t rip holes in the corners with thumbtacks
Smart! Best of luck!
These are grommets. Eyelets are only one piece! Why don't you show eyelet installation?
Dont you have anything better to do than nitpick details and make useless comments? Clearly I DONT.
Thank you
You're welcome!
Now I feel stupid because you made this look so easy 🤣
You got this!
Didn't help at all . Mines came with out the directions and that little banging thing.
