Glad there is a blooper reel for this show to remind us that Homelander is played by an actor and doesn't actually exist. I would legitimately be scared of him otherwise

that would've ruined the whole tone of the scene. yea it would've been funny, but it just wouldn't really fit in the context of what some could consider genocide. I was shocked when homelander did nothing to save all those people, and if they included that scene, the emotional impact would've been much weaker.
That's the exact moment he decided those people weren't worth saving

Since the show is as realistic as possible, stuff like the paper sticking to Homelander's face should be left in, at least some times
I think it was the actors reaction not the paper itself. The actor reacted out of character.
it's also a moment that needed to be void of levity for a bit
But my jaw was wide open during the entire scene if they had kept that paper scene it would have broken the jaw-dropping shock of the viewers to a little laugh there as it would add a comedic aspect there so I think they did the right thing removing the scene and keeping it horrifying
Yeah if the actos stay character for a little bit longer, they scene could have keep in, because not like the paper would slap his face next time if they want it to happen 😂

Not a cameo, Malcolm Barrett has several scenes as one of the marketing guys.
He's also in Preacher, another show based on a Garth Ennis book (although admittedly nowhere near as good as this one).
