Two completely different beasts. Sure they use the same engine/transmission but the 7 Series is setup for ultimate luxury & comfort, where as this is designed to be a proper sports car with the handling characteristics that match. If you want something that stands out, drives like hell, and can be comfortable when you want it then get the 8 Series. If you're primary focus is comfort but still like to have a bit of fun now and again go for the 7 Series.
Excellent, mixed with the proper winter tires which this had xDrive is unstoppable on these new BMWs. We did some winter storm testing with the 2020 BMW M550i last winter and had incredible success keeping in control.

It saddens me to see what BMW has become. A caricature of a corporate culture that has become all about greed and sticking it to customer base that made it what it became. This is not the company that gave us 2002, 3 series, 5 series and original 6 series. It has now become a me too company trying to gain every last penny out of customers that made it what it was. First it was options for everything that cost a fortune, then giving us same vehicle in strange forms (x6 and x4 or naming coupes 4 series) and charging more. Is there any reason to call this an 8 series? What is the difference between this so called 8 series and the prior 6 series other than they want to charge their remaining customers some more. The performance is great, but not much greater than what was delivered in old six series. The technology is nothing new. It is not a Tesla beater and in fact gets crushed by Model S in performance and new to market features such as auto pilot, and on the fly updates. It is a corporate culture that can't see the future and can't even stand on its history of refined performance without costing a fortune. The corporate culture which was the anti Detroit greed, has become nothing but and even worse.
Welcome to winter, no one who buys this car in a climate like this is going to be able to keep it clean 100% of the time, and it's impossible to do so while filming this considering I don't have a 20,000 sq.ft warehouse to film these vehicles in.

😂 I always thought that first generation CLS looked like a fat fish, it's a vehicle I'd like to feature though.
This is the most attractive, soul stirring design BMW has introduced in decades! Love love love love it from all angles!!! Thanks for the review !!
I really love the look of it also, I think the GC looks better than the regular Coupé.
Really like your review. Very informative. What cars do you have coming up?

I’m hoping with a large portion of people staying home they’ll have time to discover and watch my content!!
This car is now going for around 69. That’s a hell of a depreciation in just 4 years.
Most top-end luxury cars do, it doesn't surprise me to hear that about the 8 Series in general.
Surprising to me the same company that designed this stunning vehicle is also responsible for the 1 Series.
Lol. Gotta pump out the cars that make the money.
Same story with other premium manufacturers. E.g. Mercedes A Class vs Mercedes AMG GT.
Can't wait to watch this one🤓
Hope you liked it!
@@PRNTestDrive Great video Nile, really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work
Thank you! I always appreciate it!
How does this compare to 750i?

PRN_TestDrive yep I’ll go for the 7 cheers
Love the white!
It's a nice colour, just not my first choice for the winter.
I love this car, what percent tint did you put?
As far as I know there wasn't any factory tint on this vehicle, just the rear sunshades.
how do you feel it handles in the snow?

Good video
Thanks!
What a fucking beast mate
It's how I felt all week with it, everything about this car was outstanding. I can only imagine what the M8 is like compared to this.
I HATE when RUclipsrs say the M850 isn’t a real M car when that was the blueprint for the M8.

How do you feel about the brand 4 years later?
Turkiyede bu araçlar pahali ben bu arabanın aynısını 2.500.000 sıfır km 5 ay oldu şuan 1.000 km felan
Fair enough
I thought this was a great review but it hurts my soul to see this car interior so dirty...
