Bordeaux is so pretty. The architecture is amazing. I'll have a field day with it photographing it. Takes for takingnus around the city and the public park. Looking forward to your next vlog 😀
That vertical lift bridge is great. What a cool sail-in! One of the reasons I like Oceania is it can get into so many small ports. Had to laugh at you having an omelette and French toast for breakfast, and your poor wife only got Frosted Flakes!
I see you spotted it I wondered if anyone would it only a couple of seconds Lindsey didn't notice it. Well spotted 😀 and thanks for watching. Looking forward to embarkation tomorrow for your Iona vlogs
Thanks again for another interesting vlog. Agree with the ealier comment about the vertical bridge lift. With the specialty restaurants do you need to book a time as well as a date? And did you ever ask for a certain table?
You are able to book speciality restaurants from a certain time before you board. Our time of booking was 45 days before sailing. If you have a higher category cabin you can book earlier. We booked ours on the earliest day possible and could only get bookings from 8:30 onwards. However it might be our fault for requesting a table for two. When we are filming our meal we don't choose a sharing table as we feel it is rude to our fellow guests. When on board it is possible to request changes as some people do cancel bookings
Thanks for that, Ken. Was it ever difficult to get a table for two in any of the eateries outside of the specialty restaurants? Also, do you know whether the pool is heated?
Dilys does have a bit of a problem when we took her to the cider farm she was drinking straight from the barrel. I blame Max the Cruise Monkey he taught her all his bad habits.
Beautiful vlog and accompanied music.
Bordeaux looked wonderful! Thank you for the tour.
Thanks so much for your kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Wonderful atmosphere between the staff, just happy to have a jamming session .
All the staff were fab
I’m feeling hungry having seen your lovely dinner 15:49
The food on board was very good
I was on this cruise. Loved it.
We certainly enjoyed it and have just booked a cruise on Vista.
Hi Lindsey & Ken,
Great video , looks nice to walk around, shame you missed trip, food looks good ,except steak!😊
Thanks Jane according to some of the other passengers it wasn't normal with regards to the steak.
Raspberry crème brûlée looks lovely-will have to try one of those in Oct. when I get back on Oceania!
I had to give them the recipe. It's a drink that we have on P &O
You’ll have to post it for me!

Thanks for watching Cheri how is your vacation going? Good I hope
Looks like such a good way of seeing Bordeaux. Don’t think you bring back a crate of wine? :-( 18:27
Hi Louise we were due to visit a winery at the chateau but circumstances meant we couldn't go. Thanks for watching
What’s up with Bourse Maritime… does everyone have to walk, cycle and drive backwards past it? 🤣
Bordeaux looks lovely 😀

@@lesleywaghorn1627 Tables for two were no issues at all. As for the pool sorry I don't know the answer to that.
Thanks so much for that. Really appreciate the information.
Well, where’s the Limoncello? One of my favourite liqueurs.
We love Limoncello especially straight from the freezer.
Was Dillys on the drinks (to re-hydrate) before you two started on the lager?😊

@KenGoesCruising I would not blame Max but the Monkeys. 🤣 🐒🐒
@@antandycruise6271 They are great guys and good friends. It's that naughty Monkey Max👍
