I thought it was a bad interview. The interviewer would interrupt peoples answers. And I thought it was really rude and insensitive to ask if Freddie was a good writer. It seemed to me like the woman didn't think he was a very good writer but what's she gonna say? "No"? So she says "He's good" with a total lack of conviction. And then they had to ramble on about what it's like to be a writer to gloss over the awkward moment.
No I think he was just lost on the moment her mother love someone else that him she was very in love with Alex and norman do everything to stop this relationship and he have won and now that he see him mother crying in the kitchen crying in the bed, I don't know I think maybe he just want are with her on the death and have her for eternity...
nvy7 yes yes but norman always see norma and romero like a bad relationship because in the moment when norma start to be in love with Alex she decided to live and to be happy and the think that il the hardcore dinner when norman say "imagine that we are in the sea the ship is going down and there is one tinny boat who's room for two who are you put in that boat with you" and norma don't make a choice a this moment and he see a mother who always tell him that it is her son and no one gonna get in between them and finally no one comes it's Alex and Norman was jealous and not himself and he just want keep her mother with him and continue a new life in haven with her and you know it's hard because norma always shan't to keep going and live her life and it's horrible (I am a French girl sorry if there is mistaking)
He's not a nice person though... he *used* to be in season 1 and 2. Norman's mind is so twisted... he refused to admit just how happy his mother was with Alex and worse; Norman didn't *want* her to be happy with anyone else but him. So Norman's whole mindset was pretty selfish from the onset. He *knows* he kills people, he should have stayed in Pineview no matter what. But the second he saw his Mom had gotten married, his victims didn't matter anymore. He would put himself back in the world to kill just because he was jealous. At least Romero, for his part, was willing to accept the crazy stepchild into his life *AND* pay for his treatment because he loved Norma. Norman witnesses his mom's anguished weeping when she comes home and says "It won't work out with Alex and me"... the way she sobs, it's so heartbreaking and Norman in that moment has the absolute power (THE ABSOLUTE POWER) to stop his mother's suffering by voluntarily checking back into Pineview just like Dylan told him to do. Norman *should* be there for months! But nope... he gets jealous, comes home, breaks up his mother's happy marriage, and kills her instead of trying to make any kind of meaningful sacrifice. It's very tragic and unsettling and killing his mom is only "an act of love" in Norman's sick mind.
Vera looked really irritated when he asked Freddie about his writing more episodes. The other actors didn't look thrilled either. It seems like maybe they are tired of hearing Freddie get all this attention. And maybe he's all arrogant about it? I hope not...
yes freddie had all the attention ofcourse he was the lead actor and bates motel was all about troubled norman, i think vera was irritated because, she dont get the credits she needed its like freddie overpowering her for the fact that vera had many experiences as an actress than freddie specially in writings and directing and films (wikipedia)
I don't think so . Vera and Nestor adore and support Freddie from the first season . In many interviews they are talking about Freddie's writing in the series. And Freddie also wants to involve them in his new series and called them "family". They are close friends
I really love this series
"i think it was an act of love"😂
I loved this apart from the very uncomfortable ear splitting echoing audio....
brilliant what more can you say
Love this interview, such good repartee with the interviewer. Wish the sound were better though. XD

It seems like Freddie has a crush on Vera.
Am I the only one that agrees with Freddie about how Norman killed Norma as an act of love and that Norman is a nice person?

@@thesilvershining yet he thought he would be accompanying Norma in death.
