Media autoplay is the first thing i always set to block, so annoying, chrome does not even have that option which is the biggest reason i never used chrome, thanx for the video.
Very useful video because there is alot in Edge that needs disabled. Start up boost should definitely be disabled. some are under the mistaken impression that start up boost makes your browser open faster when you launch it but it doesn't. it just makes edge start up during boot which no one wants. Edge has alot of stuff that still runs in the background when it's not open if if you toggle of the let stuff run in the background option it still runs in the background.
This was a subject that needed to be tackled because Edge has so much stuff going by default that it actually reduces the performance of users computers. I think it's because those things use up both Power and memory. I want my power going to my necessitys like my hard drive, graphics card, ehternet adapter, and cpu. anything that uses power can physically slow all these things down plus the more power being used the more the pc heats up.
You are too kind. Just go turn off everything in Edge's settings. 95% of the features are barely useful but collect your data.. I used to spend time checking every feature and decided if I need it or not but then realized I turn off just about all the features. After you do that, the browser is much much faster.
