This was a masterpiece of a documentary and genuinely brought tears to my eyes. Extremely inspiring and motivating. I've collected Pokémon cards for about 19 years now, since I was 3 years old, and I'm only about 3 months into playing TCG.
I'm so proud to be apart of this community.
Enjoying the series so much and I’m not even a TCG player. Mad respect for all these players that put in so much time and their passion shows
Absolutely digging this series. Please do this more!
This series is so inspiring that's why I'm going to try competitive.
Have fun!
@@adzard-wd1pj thanks
Do it. Competitive TCG is so much fun and it's way more affordable than the other games and events are going on all the time

same😄
Bradner going to look back on this one day and be so proud of his accomplishments. The words that were said about this young man, going through some tough losses show how great his character is. I wish you nothing but success Isaiah!
Hey late on your comment but I just want to mention that Bradner is a known cheater, though this was filmed before he was using blatant misplays as a form of cheating. Just wanted to let you know
I felt so deeply the Isaiah's feelings after that match... I know that he will become champion this year ❤
The Japanese guy that won against Isaiah ended up winning 2nd place in the World Championships! Both are really good players so I hope we can see them again this year~
So you are sayong Isaiah is the 3rd best player of the world? 😅
WE WANT MORE “how do YOU play” SHORT DOCUMENTARIES!
Holy the emotions 🥹
Congratulations everyone. Youre all such inspirations. John still out there competing is awesome to see. I think we got into pokemon around the same time around 1999 very cool to see others still enjoying this wonderful game.
Holy Arceus, who's cutting unions?
Being a competitor back in 2013, I know exactly the what all these judges, players, parents, and friends go through. This series is incredibly inspirational and the production was top tier. Great job capturing the beautiful game, you just got one more person signed up for next season competition!
it highlights how important it is to have a strong testing group. I would love to find mine!
Loving the series. Seeing how people find new friends through the TCG is fascinating. I love how they support each other as much as they can. It's honestly wonderful
Such a inspirational documentary series. Really enjoyed it.
This is such an awesome video series and is getting me pumped to see North America Internationals.
Very cool to get to know players and judges.
I love you Pokémon❤
That will always be their dream
My mew deck box hanging between the two deckboxes at 7:36 is just beautiful 🥺
I am looking at getting back into playing Pokémon trading card game
Such an inspiring series to watch. One day hopefully I will make it and become a world champ, but for now, this series motivates me and now I have the urge to become better at the game.
I think if you get pooka or someone to do basic run down videos of the meta decks and how they work it would grow the game and make it easier for casual players to get into it
Quick question, is this the last episode? I wanna see more 😱
I'm not crying! You're crying!
The thing this series skips over, and doesn't even acknowledges is the insane costs it takes to be competitive. You NEED to travel to 1 or 2 regionals every month, not to mention the international trips for the ICs.
Loving this series too like so many other people here. Perhaps something to think about for upcoming tournaments???
Loved this series. Feeling inspired to grab some pre-made decks, learn the game and jump in at my local games store.
An inspiring series indeed!
I felt his pain losing at Pokemon is like your family dying in a plane crash
Whoa 🤯
Great series! Man i would definitely try the tcg if there wasn’t so much dang shuffling 😂
Love these. Please keep them up!
ok im starting to think we will never get vgc
Bruh what does vgc stand for even
@@theburger_king Video Game Championship
This is a tcg documentary ofc we won't
@@g3hollidayI know
Like what? Lol
@@kalma8216 yea
I like pokemon
Ive loved these videos
I wish Nintendo had a Smash Bros TCG
What Stonjourner card are they talking about in what deck?
Stonjourner VMAX
It has 330 HP and a lot of good tools. The deck just plays the single Stonjourner out and no other Pokémon so you have to go through the massive rock instead of Gusting other 'mon out for easier KOs. With only a grass weakness, the meta had a hard time one-hit KO'ing it, and it would just heal off any damage and wall the game to victory. Some decks just could not deal with it very easily.
Pokémon keep up with the good work you have amazing videos I play your games all the time
*this cool..* 👍
Choose your colour Red,Blue,Yellow or Green
Hey I wanna report a bug when I use Shadow force with origin form Giratina in Pokemon legends Arceus the game crashes
Why is soooo much sensoring??
lets Hope another judge don't get butthurt
Let's hope I don't have to read another comment like this one 🤐
This comment screams ignorance towards the judge corps.

It's a great series but why did they have to follow someone so closely that's a known cheater like Bradner. So many better candidates that are actually good.
I've seen the clips. Definitely made mistakes and he may have got lost in the sauce, but I don't think he had malicious intent on that play.
@@boxkid759 it's more than just one instance, and I have personal experience against him. I can forgive once or twice but several times and it's more than a coincidence
@@Ocanza prove it.
No vgc?
They forgot about something , they forget to have fun. It’s not about winning or losing it’s about having fun . This is what’s wrong with people.I play Pokémon but I don’t think winning 🏆is everything and losing it’s having fun . I rather battle for fun and collect than trade . Most of those people going back to the battle have RUclips channels and they keep getting immature and have anger issues and getting mad about fake Pokémon cards with having anger issues .I don’t want to go against people like that . This is what’s sad about people. 28 years I know Pokémon longer , a lot of dumb fools don’t know when they say I know Pokémon for 2, 3,4 ,5,and 6 years is nothing and my elder brother plays Pokémon cards and watching this for 31 years .
Kaya said she didn't really care about how she placed as long as she had fun.
@@ultraxatu3027 who is that . But she is right .
@@pocahontasseguinart7099 the girl in the video
People can play and feel anyway they want. Some of us are way more competitive than other people. So winning is where the fun is.
it's a competitive “sport" so to say. Of. Of course you aim to win and are not happy if you loose. There is nothing wrong about just being a Casual player without ambitious, but it's not a co-op game, the goal is to win. Heck even the anime is about a kid who wants to be the champion.
Why would you guys blur out an American flag arm band? Is that offensive to you people?
Fist? Nvm 2th
First
2:35 don't blur the amtrak logo I know it well it's shape is incredibly recognizable
Awesome vid!!! 😊😊😊
The "what does it do" for VIP Pass has what does pot of greed do" energy lmao
i can't believe i cried a bit when Isaiah lost. this documentary was so amazing it made me feel for all of them
This is a great series and I really wish I had seen more things like this before I went spectate my first event which was NAIC 2023, I would have probably spent more time spectating the event and less time looking at all of the extra stuff to do at the event. And as a bummer, it won't be here in Columbus next year. Gotta figure out how to get that fix! Maybe Indy?
I've really wanted to play competitively and watching this series has really inspired me and I think a good place to start would be joining a testing group, does anyone have any tips on starting/joining one?
watching this makes me want to get back into the game so bad lol
and as a filmamker now i want to go to my local tourneys and film a legacy.

What a great documentary!!
