For people complaining about lack of battery as in the video, that's the Pro version. So get that one if you want the battery. Otherwise seems the same as the standard version. Just don't get the lite version (aks 1C) as I have been reading a lot of quality issues on that much cheaper model. And yes it's much smaller (34 cm head vs 42 cm, and 100 cm tall vs usually 150cm) than other pedestal fans. It was perfect for our bedrooms where I wanted something smaller out of the way, especially when needing to store (or ignore) come winter. Also nice I can control these in the kids' rooms remotely. And have them turn on automatically to cool the rooms before bed. Went with a different larger fan for the living room and basement though, where I also cared less about smart functions.

I wonder why this Mi Store doesn't care about the customer's difficulty to get an item replaced. Again to my bad luck the same problem was still there with the new replacement product. Now I'm chasing behind the Mi Store customer care to get the refund as I'm fed up with this hassle. So please think before you buy, Xiaomi has changed a lot nowadays, they're not the best these days in giving good quality product and even good customer support. Also this fan is smaller in size than the normal pedestal fans, hence can be suitable for only small areas. Please keep that in mind before you buy this expensive fan for your big rooms.
I am having problem with installing. 2 prong power cord is not going fully into the pins in the base of the fan, so power is not supplied to the fan motor. I called service centers in hyderabad but they are saying that they will service only phones and laptops

The fan sold in India at 4999 does not have an inbuilt battery so you can not take it out in the garden unless you carry a longgg wire. This video shows a fan that has inbuilt battery and it is not available in India
Not sure as to why Indians will buy this for ₹7k when other reputed brands have same product within ₹3k. Going by your company's after sales service reputation I'm definitely not going to invest such a big amount in this product. Bring it down to ₹2.7 k and then we're talking.
