Mary is the “mirror of Justice.” I just apologize to Her for the world’s depravity, my sins, and whatever else. Only because I place myself in Her sorrows while feeling impotent to do anything. The events in this era of humanity are exponential. Everything keeps me grounded on my nothingness and God’s WOW Greatness. My Blessed Mother’s power and love keeps me in check too. Her prayers converted those Roman beasts who were by the cross playing some game for the bloody garments of Jesus. There’s something about those possessed souls who didn’t know any better yet so moved by her loving behavior at the foot of the cross. Just a passing thought! 😊
Roy, what was the bible translation you recommended? You spoke that time that the gospel translation was wrong when the lady that did not stop spilling blood touch his garments. You clarified that it wasn’t ’his garments’ but rather a Jewish traditional garb? Please and thank you.
I like to think also that the difference between Jesus and Mary in how their human nature is united to God, is more appropriate to a male human nature and a female human nature: in the male human nature, oriented to action, one with God. In the female human nature, oriented to relationship, Mary's female human nature is united to God by relationship.
Is it safe to go to Israel? We have just had our trip from the UK cancelled and monies returned. The trip was planned for February this year and the organisers were hoping things would change, but it is now conceded that it won't be safe to go.
I don't know why they cancelled your trip. I don't think there is a physical danger to pilgrims. Some airlines cancelled their flights; perhaps that is what happened. My May trip is on El Al, which does not cancel flights. You could ask the organizers. My guess is that the airline they were flying cancelled the flight. I'm glad that your monies were returned.
