The invasion/reducing on the right side where he played crazy large knights to get ALL the points was extremely interesting and valuable imo as among us kyu players, this is seen quite often, but it's hard at our level to imagine to invade that with full serenity. Thanks for the video !
"I'm winning not because I'm stronger but because [names what exactly he is stronger at compared to the opponent]" You cannot unlearn something to play worse so you win every time :)
I mean, of course you win because you're stronger. A strong player will regularly win because they consistently recognize big/small moves, strong/weak shapes. That's why we watch. You don't win to bully weaker opponents; you are very clear about *how* you use that consistent recognition of play to your advantage, then pass along that sweet, sweet knowledge to your viewers.
I laughed like a madman when you destroyed his moyo on the right. Definitely looking forward to trying that in my games Also that kill was super obvious and like other people mentioned you DID promise more killing in 2021 so honestly I'd love to see more of that
This idiot's problem is two-fold (at least!!!) Firstly, deciding which large knight to cut, and secondly, how to continue after the cut. I have played numerous games where my invasions simply does not work and I die (and lose ). Hopefully this video will help me to play better in these circumstances. Thank you for another great video!
19:32 "This can't connect to this and over here" 20:44 "I just killed him in the middle of the board" I mean, can't kill already dead stones... You stated why that doesn't work and then auto-piloted the process. Those stones be dead already matey.
The Problem is That actually my opponents make these insane „claiming whole side of the board moves“ and I end up failing to invade Or live in that area so I lose to an insane go playing joker I guess....
Wouldn't the false joseki in your review ( around min 24:00 ) become a true joseki if the lower left corner were a black enclosure with no white moves? It seems wrong to claim a sequence isn't joseki just because it comes out in one player's favor in a particular position.
Batts: "LARGE KNIGHTS CAN BE CUT!!!"
Opponent: "tis but a flesh wound!"
~hops madly to regain balance~

20:55 Don't apologize Batts. You did say more killing in basics for 2021.

Batts and Noreader Awesome Show Great Job
If someone creates a go club in a submarine, I'll definitely attend.
5k question, what happens if b protects the cutting point (Q13) instead of connecting? (Q11) 28:10
as W I would jump to R9 then probably, connecting up to the top two stones. Then in part because of the weakness at Q11, B cannot answer severely
* Starts humming the harry potter music around 17 minutes * nice

Hey, I thought you weren't doing 4-4 as white anymore? Did that not work out?

Nah, you wouldnt be getting enough influence to really be worth it and the monkey jump can still lose you a close game
17:10 is that Harry potter?
he`s very effective kyu though
