Good advice you have put out here with respect to visiting Canada... Its important for people to know that a visitors visa allows you in to visit and not to work. I am aware of people that have been sent back at the point of entry for admitting that they plan to look for work during their supposed visit. This simply goes to dispel that erroneous belief that visitors are allowed to work. While, yes, its stated on the IRCC website to that effect, the truth is its not a 1+1=2 situatuon. Its in reality a dy/dx to a 4th order differential equation scenario. A visitor has no legal basis to apply for work. A visitor simply do not have any work authotization in Canada, and to even put that provision into context, you arent allowed more than a stretch of 6month on visiting. I hope people really think these things through before parting their financial resources to travel agents promising eldorado.
