They only can make tanks that are either op and unpenetratable or the tanks should have armor but has no armor anymore after the supertesters played it. I would rather take the Object 259A instead the Udarniy.
It is funny how the tier 9 premiums they put out like the strv k are pretty Garbo and would get demolished by a lot of this tier 8s they are putting out

It's still good if you hide the lower hull and wiggle the turret. It's decent if driven by a tomato, and great if driven by someone skilled, I see no issue.

For those wondering, QB and Kajzoo haven't published any videos about the Udarny. If you pay attention to the thumbnails at 3:25, you can see in "Kajzoo's video" description : "this is a joke i love kajzoo".
Chems just took the occasion of talking about the Udarny to make a joke on then, the title of the video being typical of kajzoo's channel and the thumbnails being obviously qb-like.

If you compare chems and QB, chems is more chad than QB. Yeah, QB sometimes shows tips (some tips are horseshit, like when he said "You should NOT use vertical stabilizer on 121B"), while chems does the same thing, but a lot better

Why do i have the feeling that they first made the frontal armor so strong, just to distract from other broken premiums, so they can say "we listen to you players", because they nerfed something that people wanted to be nerfed, while keeping the op premiums op and untouched so they can continue to stomp the tiers and make the game unplayable unless you have a wallet (yes, there are some tanks that can still be played because they are good, but the game should be fun and only noncompetitive tanks are fun)

the thing is, you can NOT make a balanced premium with all these OP premiums already being in the game. you can not have a "balanced premium" anymore like back in the day. you need to have an OP premium or else you're not even a competition.

when you mentioned what can tier 6s do against this (compared to skoda, bz, etc), this tank can be penetrated frontally by any tank at tier 6 with AP (except vk light troll gun). just imagine a kv-2 or o-i snapshoting your cupola on the move...

A tank that has an autopen spot if you shoot it's tracks. Usually the soviet tanks do the opposite and shots that should go in, simply don't.

Remove pen marker t7+ and leave it t6- for the new players to learn the common weakspots would be my idea to somewhat counter the "I just fling my mouse around the tank until my dot turns green"

if you one trick a tank it is indeed very rewarding
but imagine grinding a tier X
going through all tiers with the mentioned factors changing over and over

@@BoloVaboParashHaro You wouldn’t HAVE to study all 600+ tanks, most share common weak spots that can be exploited with experimentation and trial and error (cupola, LFP, etc). Of course a skilled player is always going to be faster, that’s what they get for getting good at the game.
I’d say reverting the pen marker to only show base values is ideal, you get a general idea on the tanks profile, but you can’t just scroll over a tank until you find a green spot.
Or they could make it so that you have to aim at an enemy tank for 4 or 5 seconds before the penetration indicator changes colour to show penetration chance. That way the shitters would still be able to tell if they can pen, but they’d be at a slight disadvantage because they’d have to wait for a moment to see.

Compared with Iron Arnie and BZ-176, Udarniy is actually quite balanced. BZ-176 has turret almost impenetrable against 330 mm & below. Iron Arnie has a better turret than T110E5 and tier 10 level gun handling, combined with good mobility. 279 is easier to pen for tier 8 than BZ-176 for tier 6, but 279 can't one-shot tier 8 while BZ-176 can one-shot tier 6
Arnie has an awful gun handling. Rotation / Stab is must unless you are born in 4 leaf clover basket

I think on some tanks, the modified configuration equip is a must have. Like on the 50tp. When i was grinding it, nearly every shot damages the ammorack or a crew member. It was so atrocious. Second was improved hardening and rammer.
Now it is really rare, that anything gets damaged and the best fpr me is, that the modified configuration prevents fire / ammorack for one time. So switiching fire extinguisher with food is also no problem.
Goes to show that things are not always what they seem to be!

Like the last tank I can remember have this level of "lack of quality" is Kanjpz 90, which I bought it and love it, because you spend gold to get not P2W tank, as it should.
I mean for me it’s a little edit on the engine or removing the pen indicator. The tank doesn’t have to be strong but either it can scrape or it’s a funky tank with a little secret that players will have to learn to fight it(which ich revealed by the pen indicator)
with your setup it does have 1820 hp. thats pretty wild

So you complain if it has no weakspots and you complain if it has weakspots. There SHOULDNT be a way to angle your tank so that nobody can pen you. This tank seems fine with the new changes.

I don't know what this guy would be doing if he could play with only tech-tree tanks. It's funny how they have to be buffed to even be relevant (like T32 which had base pen 198 mm like T29 but then they increased it to 208 and now it's 218)

I don't know if your being sarcastic or genuinely complaining about the tank... I don't have the tank but I think playing it like the Type 5 may help a bit. I know that shiters relies on the magical armour penetrator a lot so what I do is, I quickly show my armour profile while wiggling, shoot then back to cover giving them no chance to find any green spots on my armour. This tactic may work way better than the hull down tactic.
If yall wanna see an 279 on tier 8 look up the K-2. incredible armor

Nobody would need the armor pen indicator if we could actually view the effective armor in the garage, because 3rd party sites aren't always accurate. At least that way, there's an in-game method of properly learning tank weaknesses without having to suffer for it in games.
