Yeah its a really strange thing to say. Perhaps shes an mk ultra athlete like Armstrong, McGregor and Venus among others. It would be disappointing but not that shocking.

Taking the bottle cage off ? I can’t imagine that makes a difference but maybe it’s in the mind.
Every gram counts for them. Some of these races are won by inches so carrying an extra bottle with an extra pound of water up every climb is a killer.
Jack Swift I can understand a full bottle but she clearly says she takes the bottle cage off...
@@DAllan-lz3lg I think that's what she means, no need to run a bottle (of anything to hold it). They'll grab a bottle in the feed zone each lap, drink as much as they can and throw the bottle away. If you don't need a bottle, why have the cage on too?
