I think Paul's loyalty to Russ is misguided, Russ never contacted him once during his first stint I don't see him doing it in his second, too busy making all the characters gay to be worried about the actual lore. Even Moffat only got him for a bloody mini ep, the least he's deserved after twenty years of this show now being on is one full episode minimum it's an absolute disgrace when he's the youngest of the ex doctors.

A lovely and relaxed enjoyable chat there with Paul.. I watched and enjoyed 'The Monocled Mutineer' way back in the mid 1980's and it certainly was a highly regarded mini-series. Loved Paul in 'Luther' too. As one of the past Co-Hosts of Doctor Who: Podshock - it's great Ken & his team are giving audiences a real 'fan fun' convention. Brilliant!

@@heymikey4025The question starts earlier, but he touches his face around 19:17. I mean I could be wrong about him being in it, but a touch of the face is a subconscious sign of lying. Andrew Garfield did it in interviews before Spiderman: No Way Home.

If only it were true. A real shame it's looking like we'll only ever get night of the doctor as a prolonged appearance of eight outside of the movie. He's aged fantastically and could still play his doctor pulled from the start of the time war. I don't get why he's not been thought of for any multi doctor stories since the revival especially with eccleston not likely to return while RTD is showrunner.
Maybe Disney will share some of that de-aging tech and we can see some past doctors looking 'young' in some episodes again.

A note to Disney and Russel T. If Paul wants to do an Eighth Doctor series, agree to a fair wage, and run it as long as he's willing to go, because he might beat any other Doc as the most charming dude ever. Just. Sayin'.

They're going to wait until this man is on his death bed before giving him a full special, aren't they? The man has recorded *HUNDREDS* of hours worth of audios. Batman, Ghostbusters, TMNT, Star Wars, and Star Trek have multiple animated shows.
Doctor Who? NOT. ONE. Try this: *Doctor Who: The Lost Adventures - an animated series*

Paul clearly still has a little stagefright at cons, he's acting exactly how I'd probably be acting. Nervous, touchy touch touch hands.. It takes courage to sit there and be yourself compared to playing a role.

I used to knock Paul's Doctor, but I cut him some slack now. It wasn't HIM (like it was Colin Baker), it was the crummy movie by Fox. I made him guilty by association, which was my mistake (I STILL hate that movie, though)...
