Hey everyone! I found the book on Amazon under a different listing. This book is slightly different, as it is spiral-bound. amzn.to/3VHrCug After further examination, I’ve learned the book I used in the video is self-published book through Amazon. That’s why the address is in the back. Anywayyyyy. Just wanted to post this here for anyone who wanted a link to the coloring book!
I think I found the one you have, but with a different cover, and one of the reviews says: "BUT be aware that the content in this book is the same page by page from the other anxiety relief Coloring Book from the same publisher WITH DIFFERENT COVER. It looks different and they offer them as book 2 of 3 but they are not. I thought it was a printing mistake but shadily only the first page has a different draw so I must assume it was deliberately printed as presented." 😑 It's listed on amazon as "Anxiety Relief Coloring Book for Adults: Mindfulness and anti-stress Coloring To Soothe Anxiety" and it's by Andrew Kane. Price is $6.99. If you click on author's name it shows the one you have too, but it says it's out of print.
I get the frustration there with the art not being double checked. They charge enough for those coloring books, so there's no excuse why there are so many mistakes. I'm a perfectionist too and this kind of corporatized thing annoys me. The person who did the line work was probably rushed and underpaid.
Many of these book authors purchase the inside pages of the art from other artists. That’s why you can find versions that are similar inside with different covers.
The problem with adult coloring books for me is all the TINY areas you gotta fill in. That stresses me out. I want the satisfaction of staying in the lines, so give me some easy medium sizes areas, cuz I don't want huge areas either. Also, I want there to be coloring books for artists. Basically just a book of simple line drawings printed in a light gray ink so you can ink line art any way you want before coloring.
I actually DO want this book! The fact it already has mistakes in it would loosen me up so much! If the book starts as flawless, I stress out trying to be as perfect! And I do have anxiety disorder. Great book to help a perfectionist not try to be perfect🥰
That's not a good excuse to publish and sell a shitty product though. You could provably get a book like that for less than a dollar somewhere because it was so cheaply made. And i'm sure she spent more on that 😅
Oh my gosh, I'm going to start making digital coloring pages available of my art, and I'm definitely going to test color my own pages before releasing!! Thank you for saying that, I don't know that I would have thought of it!!
For me, coloring in books with lots of details gives me more anxiety. When I want to relax I usually color in kids coloring books or color by number books so I don't have to think too much or worry about picking the perfect colors or shading. I just want to get my mind off things so I color silly little things while listening to music, a podcast, or audio book. It's a good way to escape because I have really bad anxiety and a lot of stress on me.
I'm the same as you for noticing mistakes - if I find one I cannot move past it! I'd be extremely cross if something marketed as 'anti stress' did the exact opposite simply due to bad quality control! 🙃 I have so many colouring books to finish, it's not even funny. 😇 Watching a left handed artist like me colouring in is so relaxing too. 😊
The date and location on the back page is the day it was printed and the place of printing. Amazon let's small business coloring book sellers decide if they want to have their books printed by Amazon themselves. It saves the artist from needing to go through the trouble of printing actual books, and Amazon gets more product listing and more sales. I think it's great to give individuals a chance to self publish who would not have been able to otherwise. The downside is lack of oversight in product. Sometimes you get stuff that is subpar quality, repetitive, or pixellated.
Yeah, there was a book my sister bought from Amazon that had a really pixelated cover (which otherwise looked really nice), and the date on the back was the day after she bought it, leading her to think she got some bootleg.
As someone with OCD I literally couldn’t focus on anything BUT the mistakes. The rug was the biggest part. Asymmetrical, border cuts off, pattern is super random…
Ah I want to send you my colouring book that I created myself… I hand drew every picture and then got it published into a colouring book. There maybe some minor mistakes because I literally hand drew it, but it does make it that little bit more special. And it is all based on farm animals too!Let me know if I can send you one? I think it may be a little more “stress relieving” than this 😂
A lot of adult coloring books print the picture on one side of the page and leave it blank on the back because some people like to hang or frame the page when they're done (me included), and if both sides have good pictures it really svcks having to choose between them for display.
Two things: firstly, I have serious coloured pencil envy right now. I've had my 72 set of Prismacolors for a few years now and they really are my favourite pencils. Unfortunately some are getting super tiny now! I would love to be able to afford that gorgeous full set that you have, it's a dream art supply for me. 😂💜 Secondly, there are a bunch of those types of books available online and they're pretty much all the same. They're full of boring, generic, often repetitive images even a toddler would get bored of (more often than not given a "zentangle" style makeover to make them seem more adult directed and play into the self-care market which gets bigger and more lucrative by the day). If they're not just generic rubbish the images have often been stolen and slightly adapted/edited/zoomed/cropped etc or just put in as they are without the knowledge and/or consent of the actual artists. They are usually printed on cheap paper such as printer/copier paper which isn't very good for people who do want to put a lot of effort or details into their colouring as it is thin and has no texture whatsoever to help layer and blend coloured pencils. It will not hold up to any kind of added water etc so that rules out everything but pencils as pens will bleed through the pages very easily and markers will eat through the thin paper in seconds. I tend to swerve away from books like this (not only because their content is dull and not my taste at all but also because of the risks taken to artists I love and for the quality issues I mentioned before) by looking at the listing itself. If it has no artist credited on the front that can (but not always) be a red flag as these tend to signify a compilation of stock/generated images rather than the work of an actual artist. Also if the image of the back cover shows 2 or 3 of the pages they will often be the best pages in there and the rest will be much lower quality/a completely different style from the ones that draw you into wanting to buy. Check out the reviews and specifically ones with photos attached. These can give you a better idea of what is inside the book, the quality of the images and the paper and what can be achieved in that specific book (eg if someone is able to make the pages look full of depth and details vs someone who just block colours with a cheap set of felt tip pens) - these too will usually be the more in-depth and honest reviews as they're given by those who love colouring as adults and haven't just bought the cheapest one they can find to keep their kids quiet for a bit. Lastly I would suggest that you always look on RUclips etc and find a 'flip-through' or review video to watch and check out adult colouring groups on Facebook etc to get opinions from people who actually enjoy the hobby and want to get quality books instead of cheap, mass-produced rubbish. Hope this helps anyone who wants to start this wonderful hobby but doesn't want to be ripped off and stressed out by cheap and nasty books like these! Oh, and just one more thing - a colouring book doesn't need to say "anti-anxiety" or "stress relieving" etc on it for it to be so. The hobby is a fantastic way to relax, de-stress and take time for yourself while creating something beautiful all on its own, regardless of what book/page/image you choose or how you choose to colour it. Don't waste your money on books claiming to be specifically for mental health and self-care because it's the colouring itself that gives you those benefits, not the lines and shapes on the page you choose to colour.
I take the pages out of my books and put them in my scanner and print them out on card stock and it makes coloring a whole lot better to me anyway, and by copying the page, if I want to do the page again in different colors, I can.
I don't have that coloring book, but the simple fact is that the book may not be the one for you. The nice thing about adult coloring books is that many of them are designed to not look perfect, and that you're allowed to make "mistakes," but still have the end result be super cool looking. That's the anxiety relieving part. One can also get creative to "fix" the mistakes if they choose to do so, and those extra pages could be practice for that.
I don't enjoy coloring books like this at all mainly because of the same reasons you pointed out already. I'd rather pay double/triple the price and buy a better quality book with art drawn by my favorite coloring book artists and/or reputable publishers. I totally agree with not getting caught up in trying to color each tiny area that the artist drew and instead color the object as a whole. The only rule to adult coloring is "It's your book, color it any way you want too!" Thanks for the honest review, your page is beautiful!
Unlucky with this book, but there are so many lovely coloring books out there like Johanna Basford, Hanna Karlzon, Kerby Rosanes and so on. This book looks like its a shutterstock book
It’s for anxiety relief. Not OCD. If you find mistakes it means you can relax and make some mistakes yourself. Edit: maybe give the book another shot and every time you find a mistake, colour it with the wrong colour. Have fun making the mistakes with the author, and draw attention to the flaws. It’s all fine.
The Amazon "oops" link was relieving more stress than the book, each doggo melted my heart. Lol I normally lurk and never comment, Mira such a wholesome person even when giving brutal feedback.
Yes some coloring books has "printing mistakes" I have a coloring book for adults called "secret garden " and some pages is too prints joints together as one and not in an even line! Also some of the drawings in it are very tiny it's annoying to color them 😂 I loved this video despite all the "lines mistakes " 😜 , still fun to color and watch you color it 😊 Plz make it a series! Maybe in a different coloring book? Every now and then you color a page ! Have a wonderful day 🏵
Colouring books like this are usually very, very cheaply produced and printed on demand, I think. I have no problem with them existing, as not everyone wants to spend a lot on an expensive book with huge amounts of detail and thick paper - sometimes it's just about filling in shapes with colour for fun and throwing the book into the recycling when it's done. I usually like really intricate colouring books like Hanna Karlzon and Johanna Basford and I put lots of effort into making them look as good as I can, but there's definitely also a place in my life for just colouring in a bold pattern with markers while I watch TV or listen to an audiobook now and again, and not having to worry if I make a total mess of it. But all that said ... it's not OK for them to have so many mistakes or to duplicate images/parts of images across multiple pages. I had a couple of those Jade Summer colouring books, which are pretty cheap and don't use premium paper and are printed via Lulu I think, but although they're fairly basic I've never found any big mistakes in them.
I love that the coloring book is one sided on the pages and black on the back. That's actually such a smart idea. However, the pattern thing hurt my brain too. I've seen this one on Amazon and almost bought it once. I can't believe it's gone now
I have both adult and kid coloring books. Overall I like them both for different reasons. Sometimes all the tiny details can be overwhelming in adult coloring books so it’s nice to have a variety of coloring books.
I have this same coloring book and am currently doing the SAME page… but hilariously, my picture is WAY zoomed in… the rug is halfway cut off and the chair in the bottom right isn’t even in my page 😂
I'm coloring in adult coloring books for years now (Kerby Rosanes, Johanna Basford, Millie Marotta, Hanna Karlzon, etc) and sadly there are a lot of books like the one you bought that are kinda scams. Repeating pages, some even stealing the motives from other coloring book artists and have to be reported/removed, bad quality of lines or printing and of course mistakes. I have spotted a few minor mistakes in some of my coloring books that i simply can fix with a black fineliner :D But to be fair mistakes like the ones you had to face in this book would have drove me nuts - no way i would have kept coloring. 100% on your side with this, just very lazy and/or bad quality control.
There’s a lot of people who produce low content books to sell on Amazon... journals, puzzle books, sudoku, colouring books, etc. It’s usually one person who puts these together, not a publishing company, hence more chances to miss mistakes.
I'm working on my own patterned animal colouring book and to have done the work I already have, seeing the mistakes and repetition in this book actually upsets me. That people spend that much on something that crappily made, yet will likely never even get to see the one I make if I ever get it finished, is kinda sad for people like me who try as hard as I am to make a genuinely good product, and but people get a book like that instead entirely because it's more easily available, and lies about quality. I don't mean to say people should feel bad for me, I'm more pointing a light at people who make quality products and are looked over because people prioritize (understandably of course) availability. My wish is that availability and quality could be the same thing. People who sell things should do their own quality control.
Most people who buy adult colouring books much prefer artist's books rather than buy the first badly made book they come across. Artist's books are just as easily available on amazon, and many colouring book artists self publish on amazon because it's the easiest, cheapest option. You might want to do a bit more research into this before making assumptions.
@@puckhopstaken3906 Making assumptions about people that buy colouring books is rude as well. Making stuff up that doesn't exist in order to shift the blame is also rude. People that use colouring books regularly will look for flip throughs before they buy, since most people don't have money to waste on the first book they come across without checking it first. To assume otherwise is rude, because it insinuates we have no taste and don't appreciate real art. I was just more honest and upfront rather than passive agressive. You only have to read a few comments to find out that people who buy colouring books have favourite artists!
So happy you’re left handed. Many people doubt our ability for penmanship because they’ve only seen lefties with their hand held in some contorted way, which I’ve never done. Yay!
I find that alot of coloringbooks have these mistakes that you only see if you are knee-deep coloring in every little detail. I love that the put the black back for the bleading, but it is really lazy to get cropped images. Maybe go deeper about what paper they used, how was the quality. If yoh were to use markers how would the paper react and stuff. I really love coloring and listening to podcasts. I limit my palet as well for the same reasons. I also love coloring flowers because you can use a little crazier colors instead of these muted, natury colors.
You crack me up! 😂 I'm glad i'm not the only one who finds mistakes in coloring books. I started worrying when I saw the reverse side was all black. I've started putting a piece of cardstock behind the page I color because the pressure from the pencils make whatever ink they use now to transfer the images on the pages together. They sure don't make them like they used to. When I was a kid, I never had that transfer problem and I pressed hard with those crayons. I think I started boticing it around the late 1990's. Anyway, I love your videos - keep up the good work ❤
Well that was an interesting rabbit hole, I did a search for that book - didn't find it but didn't do the deepest search but I did find a "Mood Enhancing" coloring book called "Please color when you're high."
Oh no! Those repeat pages would have pissed me off! I haven't sold any of my coloring pages, but I have colored all of them several times for this reason... And I've had my friends test them as well. Maybe someday I'll publish some of them.
I hope in the book it tells you an illustrator. Because a lot of times, they also have books like this, and they just stole artwork from artists and put it together, illigal. Since the book is gone, away from amazon, it really is a bit suspicious.
My thoughts precisely. Maybe it’s not, but that’s what generally happens when the original copyright holder(s) or their fans report them. It’s a HUGE issue for coloring book artists, sadly, especially those of us who offer freebies, samples, or sell digital downloads on our sites. Sometimes they even have the watermarks from the artist stolen from.
I’m uniquely talented at finding mistakes. Pattern mistakes, spelling mistakes, continuity mistakes (like in moves- shirt buttons done up and not, or the amount in a drink, etc.). They leap off the page/screen. I saw a number of mistakes as you were flipping, and I thought ‘what, that’s a lot of mistakes…’. This book would make me CRAZY. I often choose colouring book ‘patterns’ because if it’s a repeating floral or something I’m totally fine with that. But when it’s supposed to be right, it would distract me beyond… pardon me, I have to go and colour to de-stress… 😉😃
Nice to know I'm not a complete freak. I have the same 'talent'. I'll even notice things like when a person has one nostril bigger than the other (tv or movie etc) Drives my family batty. 😬
If I looked for all the mistakes in every colouring book I have, and I have lots, I’d give myself anxiety. I would buy this book for the images, not the mistakes. Keep creating 💜💛💙
Amazon took a couple of the coloring books I was working on down also. One of them they did a new version with q different name so I kinda get that. The other one though... when I was looking for it again I found another coloring book under the same name but different artist with VERY similar images. I could tell they had used inspiration from one for the other. Now I feel kinda bad I've probably been working on a plagiarized coloring book but I already bought it
Hey Mira, I just bought an adult coloring book that is 365 peaceful days to color. It also has mindful affirmations too! I bought it at Barnes and Noble for $9! I don't usually color, but I thought I would give it a try this new year! I would rather do the doodles and drawings than color!
I'm sure whoever illustrated these coloring pages wasn't paid a fair wage for their work and probably had to get these pieces done at an unreasonable speed-- so either the mistakes were accidents, or they just weren't paid enough to care, and frankly, both are understandable explanations imo
Colouring can be fun and relaxing. I usually only do colouring books when I go somewhere with a small amount of art supplies. Gets out some creativity. It's a shame it has alot.of repeats and mistakes. There.are.some really nice colouring books out there though. At least you saw some cute dogs lol.
The best stress relief coloring books are the color by number coloring books You don't have to even think about what color to use that has already been done for you (LAZY LAZY ME)
I have anxiety and tried the coloring books. They made me feel way worse. I think it was all the tiny decisions you have to make when the picture is so detailed. I found that diamond painting and jigsaw puzzles were way more relaxing where I got to see the picture come together but didn't have to make any decisions.
I like how there's another view of the same room, even if perhaps it was just a bigger image that they cropped into two pages. The repeat that's just a zoomed in version of the fireplace is pretty weird though. I would still enjoy using this book, but I definitely wouldn't pay $15 for it!
Heyy! I'm an 11 year old artist who likes adult coloring more than my aged coloring.. but currently I'm on vacation out of my country and I left my huge pack of colour pencils at home. I found an adult coloring book in a store, and since there was not a big pack of colours, I decided to mix it up a little! Instead of only using colour pencils, I used watercolours and sketchpens for the touches!❤❤❤
I had no idea people have such high standarts for coloring books 😭 the more you know. Idk to me any coloring is stress relieving, it's not really about the result, it's just satisfying to do
Idk if it’s just me, but whenever I see something labeled “anxiety reducing _____” it’s never actually anxiety reducing - makes me more stressed out than the originally branded thing
The real con is that by stating the product is stress reducing it makes you think that it is the actual item itself doing the stress relieving, for example in this case that this particular book will lower your anxiety while you colour it whereas the millions of other colouring books in the world won't do the same. It tricks your brain into thinking that you specifically need *that* book when really it's the colouring/creative process that actually aids your mental health and wellbeing, that lowers stress/anxiety and is used by many as a form of self care or to help with other mental health issues, pain management, to give structure/purpose/aims to their days and to provide a creative outlet for what they are feeling. What is actually on the page you're colouring doesn't matter in any other way than whether you enjoy colouring it. I really like alternative style art/gothic images/stuff from horror movies or that are darker fantasy style images but my friend doesn't like those books at all, preferring to colour cute animals, beautiful flowers, princess style castles and use lots of bright colours and pretty designs. Each of us colours something completely different but we both receive the same mental health benefits from the process, not the images themselves. If I had to colour images such as the ones in Mira's book I would be so bored and depressed in about 5 minutes! 😂
When they first came out with these "stress relief" "anti anxiety" colouring books and I got one I was so confused I was like if this is supposed to calm me down why does it have tiny areas that are almost impossible to color unless you have a sharp sharp pencil or a skinny marker or a pen?? Like thats not calming to me at all ...
I just ran across your channel. I have seen these books, and wondered what they would be like. Honestly, I am a high anxiety person, with stress reaching high limits at times. My stress level while watching you plummeted to a giggling state. Not at your expense, but watching how you handled your stress while stressing! Loved watching! Keep up the good work. You are a blessing!
😭OMG in my last coloring book where the main theme was shop windows or the interior of the shop, there were so many construction errors that I wanted to cry. The person who made the drawings completely ignored perspective. I wasn't even able to fix it. The walls were literally round or furniture was in non-existent corners. Everything was flat and nonsensical. The creator's attention was clearly focused only on details.😭
I immediately put down any book that has ‘shadows’ in/on the pages. I want one with some flowers, some butterflies, some bees and some buildings. And PLEASE Coloring Book Jesus, SPIRAL BOUND THESE BOOKS!!!
I’ve been in the art my whole life whether it’s drawing or painting or coloring so when I got anxiety when I was in my late teens eyes started using coloring books the only thing was at that time the only coloring books that were available were like care Bears and Lisa frank because it was looked at is more of a child thing and I will tell people that it was relaxing to me and I helped my anxiety I still got made fun of but then about a decade later all of a sudden the adult coloring books became really popular and all the people that was making fun of me suddenly had coloring books and the one thing that I don’t like about it is a lot of people say that the patterns are theirs but they’re not with you flipping through this book I found at least four pages that are in a book I have here that was made five years ago so my thought is that’s probably why there’s so many mistakes in the world why they stop the patterns because of like a copyright thing or something I don’t know but if you would like I can recommend you to a book that I personally love I don’t remember who it’s by but it’s a kaleidoscope coloring book and it is my favorite hands-down it’s the only kaleidoscope coloring book I’ve ever found and it’s called bags called the kaleidoscope coloring book I am using my mic so I don’t know how well I am my voice has been captured some also in a rush but I did want to say that you did a lovely job and coloring the room 🥳 The color combination is warm and inviting I like it it’s not some thing I would’ve picked and if I would’ve did it it would’ve not looked that good because it would’ve just been a rainbow pattern lol have you heard of the reverse coloring book that’s pretty neat wait a minute I think your channel is the one that showed me that never mind
It would be funny to have your subscribers pick the color palette and you color it. Definitely would be interesting especially if you chose a random page with your eyes closed 🤣 the page was cute though with the colors you picked. 💜
Oof, yeah, hard pass especially since all the bandwagon-jumping of so many colouring books being labelled for mindfulness, anxiety relief etc, I find it gross after having such trouble with anxiety for so long, partly cos other diagnoses were missed, only getting welfare benefits if someone else decides I fit their criteria, doing extra work to let go of that extra stress, but anyone can sell something a bit rubbish. That aside, the greens and warm tones you used make a warm, homely picture. I really like that celadon green too.
The mistakes by the original designer would not bother me. I never expect perfection from anyone, including myself. I would see these mistakes as a challenge to add my own permanent black lines to fill in the blank spaces and give the page my own interpretation. Before I started, I would take apart the coloring book so I could work on one flat page at a time. Would probably brush some mineral spirits over each finished section to provide a more professional look to the colors. I would enjoy taking time to choose the colors and doing the work carefully. Slowing doing something creative can be a form of meditation and the opposite of anxiety producing for me.
The most stress-relieving thing watching the video was the different dogs. How cute!! I think a lot of people need stress relief (or anti-stress :P ) during the holiday season. Too bad the mistakes in the book had the opposite effect. Thanks for the video and honest review, Mira.
Coloring in general gives me anxiety because of my tendencies toward perfection. If I go out of the lines I try to fix it and then it just gets worse. I like doodling and drawing more than coloring a prepared picture. but even more than that I like crafts such as making paper and molding soap. Lots of wiggle room there. Even more than that I get my creativity out through cooking, fashion, and design.
so i have anxiety and just looking at this book and all the lines is stressing me out... idk why because i like art and colouring... i wouldn't want to get this, too many lines stress me out a bit. i have lines sometimes blur together for me and just having that happen for me when looking at the pages would make me want to not get this even more. So i think its the extra lines that are doing it for me in reflection.
I'm an coloring book illustrator, you spotting them mistakes made me want to go back and see if I've made mistakes like that. I have hand drawn mine. It made me realize that the computer generated illustrations are maybe made too quickly. It takes me months to illustrate a book. I back the zoomed in version, no matter how much it cost, but I would have added something to it, thought.
For the "copy and paste" pictures, as someone who as social anxiety and autism, the full picture would be too overwhelming if I were going into it as a stressed out version of me. Having the sections where it focuses on little tid bits would help. I think it's pretty cool and might be helpful for people who actually struggle with anxiety.
Enjoyed this video so much - mostly because I often look at a picture and wonder ... what is THIS? I know it must be something in the artist's mind, and I want to color it appropriately, but first I need to figure out what it is, and often have no clue. Hats off to you finding so many mistakes - unintentionally.
I don't like such a type of colouring book, they bring my stress levels to the Moon. You did amazing, love the end result=) Mistakes in the book are okay, it, actually, makes me feel less pressured=)
Cheap mass distributed coloring books like this I avoid. For exactly the mistakes! They are almost always black with the rainbow bright colors on the front.
I understand some mistakes, im an artist and sometimes ill be nearly done and notice some small mistakes and it makes me upset lmao. Theres always going to be minor things, and that just says youre human. But so many and major mistakes like the carpet, it just shows a lack of care. I also hate all the tiny details on these, i just want to shut down my braine, and easily produce something that looks good. With all the little details, it can look muddy and if you dont use the right color gor something it just doesnt look good. One thing i do like is the one she colored of a room. I only really draw people and sometimes animals, so it would be nice to color in a background or landscape without the stress of trying to do something i am inexperienced in and having to worry about prospective and making it look nice.
Love the cover image! Would love to colour that one and similar. Will have to draw them myself. Yes, it is all very soothing. Except chores pile up, then the anxiety is back. 🙃
Your coloring page turned out so nice, but careless work from the designer. Idea for a pencil pouch or t-shirt: "Get to the Point" with an illustration of sharpened colored pencils... Yes? No? Already been done? Probably. Never mind.
I would really love adult colouring books bound for us lefties. It can be so frustrating having to have your left hand always pushing against the bent spine.
Hey everyone! I found the book on Amazon under a different listing. This book is slightly different, as it is spiral-bound.

After further examination, I’ve learned the book I used in the video is self-published book through Amazon. That’s why the address is in the back.
Anywayyyyy. Just wanted to post this here for anyone who wanted a link to the coloring book!
It's also an earlier edition than yours, Mira! ?!?!? Weird? 🙃
I found that book for sale in ireland for 43 euro 💶 🤔😕
I think I found the one you have, but with a different cover, and one of the reviews says:
"BUT be aware that the content in this book is the same page by page from the other anxiety relief Coloring Book from the same publisher WITH DIFFERENT COVER. It looks different and they offer them as book 2 of 3 but they are not. I thought it was a printing mistake but shadily only the first page has a different draw so I must assume it was deliberately printed as presented."
😑
It's listed on amazon as "Anxiety Relief Coloring Book for Adults: Mindfulness and anti-stress Coloring To Soothe Anxiety" and it's by Andrew Kane. Price is $6.99. If you click on author's name it shows the one you have too, but it says it's out of print.

Basically just a book of simple line drawings printed in a light gray ink so you can ink line art any way you want before coloring.
Sometimes I buy a kid's coloring book and some crayons...
I find kid coloring books more relaxing than adult ones. Hate the tiny spaces.
Looks for grayscale coloring books. Or buy kids books, and print on better paper to color!
Lots of that on Etsy. Many give a page in light, medium, and dark lines.
This helps me edit my coloring book
They should market it as a puzzle book, like “Spot the Mistakes!” 😂
This would be so much fun!😄
😂😂
That would make me feel less like pullin out my hair ahah they should’ve
😂😂😂😂😂

that’s a very unpopular opinion

For me, coloring in books with lots of details gives me more anxiety. I just want to get my mind off things so I color silly little things while listening to music, a podcast, or audio book. It's a good way to escape because I have really bad anxiety and a lot of stress on me.
Totally agree
My problem is that I get way stressed out trying to choose the colors😂
I'm the same as you for noticing mistakes - if I find one I cannot move past it! I'd be extremely cross if something marketed as 'anti stress' did the exact opposite simply due to bad quality control! 🙃
I have so many colouring books to finish, it's not even funny. 😇
Watching a left handed artist like me colouring in is so relaxing too. 😊
I have many untouched colouring books and have to stop myself from buying more 😂
I totally never go for anti stress colouring books because they have the opposite effect. I love Hanna Karlson books though.
You know what soothes anxiety for adults? Fixing other people's mistakes. 😆
😂😂😂 shade
For adult coloring books I recommend Kerby Rosanes.
As someone with OCD I literally couldn’t focus on anything BUT the mistakes. The rug was the biggest part. Asymmetrical, border cuts off, pattern is super random…
I think its amazing that you're left handed!! 💞
Ah I want to send you my colouring book that I created myself… I hand drew every picture and then got it published into a colouring book. There maybe some minor mistakes because I literally hand drew it, but it does make it that little bit more special. And it is all based on farm animals too!Let me know if I can send you one? I think it may be a little more “stress relieving” than this 😂
Where can it be purchased? I would love to see y and to support you.
Cassie, it’s you! Hello!
Hey girl your so sweet sending her your book
You all have made my day!
A lot of adult coloring books print the picture on one side of the page and leave it blank on the back because some people like to hang or frame the page when they're done (me included), and if both sides have good pictures it really svcks having to choose between them for display.
The only ones I have and love are the Johanna Basford colouring books for adults!
Secondly, there are a bunch of those types of books available online and they're pretty much all the same.
I need that book. Love that set of Prismacolors. Have them. I Love interior Zen rooms coloring pages. It turned out really pretty. Love the rug.
That book is part of Amazin's print-on-demand program, that'swhy the city and date are in there. A lot of coloring books on Amazon are like that.
I totally agree about the dogs being more stress relieving, haha! They were so cute.
Watching you hate on this book was a great stress reliever for ME😆
Hahahaha
Yes some coloring books has "printing mistakes" I have a coloring book for adults called "secret garden " and some pages is too prints joints together as one and not in an even line!
Also some of the drawings in it are very tiny it's annoying to color them 😂
I loved this video despite all the "lines mistakes " 😜 , still fun to color and watch you color it 😊
Plz make it a series!
Don’t worry or stress about discussing the errors, you’re helping many others in making a choice 💚❤️💚❤️💚
I go through the same thing when coloring. Especially what the world is that? I am glad I am not alone.
There’s a lot of people who produce low content books to sell on Amazon... journals, puzzle books, sudoku, colouring books, etc. It’s usually one person who puts these together, not a publishing company, hence more chances to miss mistakes.
I also love coloring books they are so relaxing 😌 ❤
@@angelawossnameyou really don’t have to be rude.
You only have to read a few comments to find out that people who buy colouring books have favourite artists!
yes on those kinds of books I just fix the extra lines
French grey eats snails and baguettes. Those kinds of coloring books stress me out!!! I like simpler ones. Thanks for the video
There’s so many great adult coloring books 😍it’s one of my favorite hobbies that I have. Johanna Basford is one of my fave illustrators
Anyway, I love your videos - keep up the good work ❤
Yeah! That would be AWESOME if it was color by number. I find CBN is much more relaxing, especially when doing mandala type coloring.
Well that was an interesting rabbit hole, I did a search for that book - didn't find it but didn't do the deepest search but I did find a "Mood Enhancing" coloring book called "Please color when you're high."
Did you get it 😆🤣😂
@@joanne1dreams 😆No but I did think about it
Love it 👍😆🪁
Truly appreciate your honest review. Thank you. Great job 👍❤️
I have this color book. I felt like it was too much for me. I have gone to simpler color books. I adore your color pencil set. Wow!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds those types of mistakes. They can be really annoying. 😉👍🏻
If I looked for all the mistakes in every colouring book I have, and I have lots, I’d give myself anxiety. I would buy this book for the images, not the mistakes. Keep creating 💜💛💙
hey guys, what type of mistakes do you find?
Amazon took a couple of the coloring books I was working on down also. One of them they did a new version with q different name so I kinda get that. The other one though... when I was looking for it again I found another coloring book under the same name but different artist with VERY similar images. I could tell they had used inspiration from one for the other. Now I feel kinda bad I've probably been working on a plagiarized coloring book but I already bought it
NGL, I kinda enjoyed Salty Mira finding all of the flaws. 😂
The best stress relief coloring books are the color by number coloring books
You don't have to even think about what color to use that has already been done for you (LAZY LAZY ME)
I have anxiety and tried the coloring books.
This is like an art and asmr channel all in one. You have such a soothing voice and disposition.
I'm discovering I like symmetrical designs to color. It's all fun but shapes are satisfying. Equal on both sides has order and gives me a brain high.
You’re the sweetest reviewer I’ve ever watched. Thanks for your honesty. Also, I look forward to your videos each week!!!
Those type of coloring bugs actually cause me anxiety cause of all the little things to color
That sounds really ecxiting!
That book would give me anxiety with all those issues. I'm glad you picked the picture you did, as I thought it was the cutest.
Stress relief coloring books stresses me out, too many tiny spaces to fill, I get anxious to finish it cuz it takes too long to color a plant
I find that a bit harsh as there are many artists WITH anxiety and they work hard at their designs.
How did you manage to sharpen those prismacolors to such a sharp point without breakage?😯
I’m glad you were truthful
Girl do NOT feel bad! That’s one of the main things that bug me about a coloring page lol it really kills the vibe!
😂 “I get a different dog each time!” That cracked me up. I would so do the same thing.
Enjoyed this video so much - mostly because I often look at a picture and wonder ... what is THIS? I know it must be something in the artist's mind, and I want to color it appropriately, but first I need to figure out what it is, and often have no clue. Hats off to you finding so many mistakes - unintentionally.
I bought the same book. The larger images I just filled in with tangles to break up the space.
I like how this was posted on my birthday.
I don't like such a type of colouring book, they bring my stress levels to the Moon. You did amazing, love the end result=) Mistakes in the book are okay, it, actually, makes me feel less pressured=)
Your talking voice sounds exactly like Ruby from the kids show Max and Ruby!!!!!
Sometimes adult coloring books make my OCD go crazy and definitely does not let me relax. But I also have Autism Spectrum Disorder.
What pencil sharpener are you using? It looks very easy and quick to use with a sharp point
Hi mira! If you want to get a Christmas coloring book I recommend the johanna's christmas!
