@@EG0909 Running on grass makes it turn into dirt, so just keep running where you want the paths to be. It will take a while, but eventually you will get natural paths.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Currently, I don’t have access to my Wii, but I really want to play the greatest pre-New Horizons game, and these videos are helping me get through it.
@RedsVsBlue: The paths are patterns from Wendell. As for trees, I assume you're asking how I got multiple fruit types? I got different fruit from friends' towns and planted them in my town.
@Swurveh: This was recorded with WinTV-Go on my old Windows XP computer. But now I use a different Hauppage TV tuner card that came with my Windows 7 computer.
@rfsarody: They need to be fairly close to the beach. If you have your acres marked off for a perfect town, it's the southernmost row of acres that will work. That's usually around 9 or 10 spaces from the shore.
@jessdaze1: By placing paths down and only walking on them (for the most part). Also, flowers help the grass regrow quicker. But it still can take months of daily playing to fully regrow your grass if it's really bad.
@Kiara Ramirez: No, I don't. Once you get the gold slingshot, it's really easy. If you have trouble, try lining up your character with the shadow of the balloon on the ground.
@Envazions: Horizontal path, vertical path, intersection, and street corner 1-4. I recommend getting the horizontal and vertical path parts first, since most of your path will be those two pieces. The others are just for making the corners and intersections look nicer.
@ChampionEast: For pansies, there are three hybrids: Purple (from red + red), orange (red + yellow), and blue (white + white). So you won't get any hybrids from the red + white. But make sure the flowers are in adjacent squares, it can be horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, but you don't want full spaces in between. Then just keep them watered & eventually you should get some new flowers. It takes time though. Even with a town full of paired flowers, I only average about one new hybrid/day.
@OceanOasisSeaSky: 'Animal Tracks' is the "feature" that makes your grass wear away after walking on it. But it's far too sensitive and can result in ALL grass wearing away, like you can see in my previous town tour.
@460Sora: You can put the paths anywhere you want, but I just started out connecting the places I visit often. My house, Nook's, town hall, Able's, the gate, etc. As time went on, I added more paths to cover the entire town.
@OceanOasisSeaSky: Swimming pools would be nice. So would having a yard, where you could some furniture outside (like the backyard series). The lights thing never bothered me though.
@omarc94: If you play with other people over Wi-Fi, you can get it from a friend's town. You may also occasionally get some from an animal in your town, although that may take a while.
@SWjvg797: Basically you have to avoid walking/running on the grass for it to regrow. That's why the paths help. Also, flowers help grass regrow quicker.
@Mermaid1517: I did get the lighthouse originally, but I changed to the windmill. As for every hybrid, I have no idea. I'm probably missing some, but I really never checked.
@FalconFlyer55: Actually most of the grass was back after a few months. You just need to make paths and stick to them. Never run on grass and avoid walking on it as much as possible. Also, planting flowers helps the grass underneath grow back quicker.
@TheGamerguy778: Basically, avoid walking (and especially running) on grass. Lay down paths and stick to them as much as possible. Also, plant flowers to help grass regrow quicker. But still, it's a process that can take months of daily planning to fully regrow. Yes, if you breed a red and pink carnation together, you can get a while carnation. Some people say diagonally works best for hybrids, but I haven't noticed any difference in that over horizontal/vertical.
@ACCFWalker: Two per day adds up over time. Also, new flowers pop up in town each day and flowers can reproduce as well. I have already had Nookington's. But he later gives you an option to change back to a different store, and I switched back to Nook 'n' Go (which has better hours) because I often play late at night when Nookington's would be closed.
@gamatrooper: Coconuts will occasionally wash up on your beach. Plant them in the southernmost acres and if the spot is good, a coconut tree will grow there.
@squeaken1: The path patterns are from Wendell. As for the fountain, you have to donate to the town fund. First, donate 200,000 bells to get an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for the fountain.
Nook has flowers for sale every day, and a few new flowers pop up in your town each day as well. And if you place flowers near other flowers of the same kind (roses next to roses, tulips next to tulips, etc.), they can also reproduce.
@billybobandboshow: The x's won't appear under a pattern. I would venture off the paths if I saw something buried like that, but for the most part, you can't walk/run on the grass if you want it to regrow.
Yes, I venture off the path for dig spots and to pull weeds. Also, when I have visitors over, we go off the paths (but that's usually just once a week).
@AnimalCrossing334: They will grow anywhere in the southernmost row of acres (unless it's a dead spot where no tree can grow, of course). That may be around 9-10 spaces from the shoreline.
It wasn't hacked. Grass slowly regrows if you don't walk on it. So I put in paths and stuck to them as much as possible. It can still take a couple months of daily playing, but it can be done.
@ChampionEast: Well the paths will be in the same locations as the paths in this video. They left a dirt path underneath, so it's easy to see where to place them. As for how I originally decided where they go, I did that a long time ago, a little at a time. I tried to make straight lines (or as straight as possible) connecting locations like my house, store, etc. As for hybrids, it's just a matter of putting flowers of the same type together (roses w/roses, etc.).
@GaiaItemGetter: When you have flowers next to each other of the same type, they will occasionally breed. For example, a red rose next to a yellow rose might breed an orange rose. But hybrids appear very rarely, so it helps if you have large areas devoted to cross-breeding. Just make sure to leave some empty spaces near them for the resulting flowers to go.
@SwooshParker: Yes, you can visit other people's towns and they can visit yours. You can have bug/fish catching competitions, chat, or play things like hide and seek or games that people made up like museum tag or sumo. You can also send mail to each other and participate in the auctions with friends.
Yes. Check out my previous town tour and you'll see my town was almost all dirt. It just takes paths (and the willpower to stick to them), flowers to speed up the process, and patience (it can take months if it's really bad).
@pikminhero: I've been working on it gradually over a long period of time. I think it was around last September that I made an effort to regrow my grass, and most of the other changes came gradually after that.
@FlameboyX312: They're just patterns from Wendell. Do a Google search for ACCF Wendell guide and you can see which fish you need to give him for each pattern.
@Mistouflette02: Basically you have to avoid walking on it. I recommend making a path and stay on it as much as possible. Also, plant flowers, because flowers help grass regrow quicker. Still, it's a process that can take months.
@ChampionEast: My grass was gone (see my 2009 tour) but I regrew it. I stick to my paths, and the flowers helped it regrow too. And yes, this town has a perfect town status.
@fasydnista: Yeah, it leaves the big dirt spot where their house used to be. But I have extra flowers that I use to cover it up (and help the grass regrow there).
@TheAmandaJaness: You can get the windmill and fountain by donating to the town fund. The arena is just something I made with patterns and pitfall seeds, it's a place to play sumo. Pac-Man Pond Park is also just something I made, placing flowers and a path near the lake there. You need to exchange friend codes with people before you can visit each other. They can be from anywhere in the world. I got the path patterns from Wendell. But it still look a lot of time to place them (& flowers) down.
@Terra23437: He just comes randomly, there isn't a certain schedule he follows. The path has 7 pieces, so you'll need to search for an ACCF Wendell guide to see them all.
@Benjy332211: I made them myself (except for the 3 gold roses at 3:33, which were from a friend). I generally only water the wilted flowers and black/blue roses each day.
I don't know about advanced tips, but you could start by making paths around town. And if you can line those paths with flowers, that makes it looks nice.
The dirt paths are patterns you can get from Wendell. Do a web search for ACCF Wendell Guide and you can see which fish you need to give him. I play the game daily.
WOW!! This is a truly amazing town! I've been working on a town of my own. I posted the tour just the other day. It isn't much compared to this town. All I can say is well done!
@Jedannaful: The extra bridge is the one near the top-left part of the map. Before that bridge, it took a long time to get to the museum. I have so much money because I've been playing the game almost daily for two years. :P
The path layout is the same, but I'm using a green brick path pattern at the moment. Also, most of the flowers have been replaced with gold, red, or black roses. I'm in the process of breeding enough gold roses to line all my paths with them.
@NintenDrew64bit: If you're not doing any editing to the file, just click "Upload" on RUclips (on the bar at the top of the screen) and then select the file to upload.
@starystar34: I usually only water the wilted flowers each day (and certain hybrids), so it only takes about 15 minutes. I did the path a little at a time, over a few months. It would definitely be too much to do all at once.
@MsDisneyDisney: Wendell is the hungry walrus that shows up in town sometimes. Depending on what food you give him, he will give you a different pattern.
@Rachel4love: That's probably an oversimplification. Paths help by encouraging you to walk on the paths instead of the grass. (Grass wears away when you walk on it). So sticking to paths will help your grass regrow, but it's still a slow process that takes months. Planting flowers helps regrow the grass quicker.
@BBgun296: Coconuts must be planted in the southern part of town, near the ocean (but not in the sand). Still, all towns have "dead spots" where trees won't grow, no matter what. Just try another spot. Also, the season doesn't make a difference for trees, and no trees or saplings ever need watering.
@juicystar1231: They're hybrid flowers you get by crossbreeding: red tulips + yellow tulips = purple tulips red pansies + red pansies = purple pansies white roses + white roses = purple roses
@xejdraigx: Well this video was made over a year later than the 2009 video, so it wasn't exactly quick. But basically, grass grows back if you don't walk on it. So I recommend making a path and sticking to it; avoid walking on the grass as much as possible. Planting flowers also helps grass regrow quicker. @Frieziaku: By donating to the town fund. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. And once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for either a lighthouse or a windmill. You can choose which one you want.
@inmillity: By donating to the town fund. You have to first donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for the fountain. And once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for a windmill or lighthouse (you can choose one or the other).
@Aleliam1: I used patterns to mark off the acres when I first tried for a perfect town, but the patterns themselves have nothing to do with perfect town status.
@xoxcutieemxox: Yeah, I started out just making paths connecting a few places like my house, the store, and the gate. Gradually I extended the paths across the entire town. I put flowers lining most of the paths. Over time, I rearranged flowers to put certain kinds together, such as white pansies along Pansy Path, etc.
@Aleliam1: Give him a carp for the horizontal path and a barbel steed for the vertical path. Those are the two main pieces used. Check an online Wendell guide for the rest of them.
@kcatromero: By donating to the town fund at town hall. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. And once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for a windmill or lighthouse.
@jouibsila: I made paths and only walked on the paths for the most part. Also, planting flowers helps grass regrow quicker. It took several months to regrow it completely, but it is possible when you work hard at it.
@oxJeanellexo: 1. After a few weeks, the places you walk will start turning to dirt. If you walk all over, you'll end up with more dirt than grass (see my 2009 tour to see how bad it can get). 2. Walking on grass damages it little by little, so avoiding walking on it is how you regrow it. Planting flowers also helps it regrow quicker. My paths are patterns from Wendell. And yes that's me on ACC, I have the same username there.
@SuperYvetteallyoutub: Oh you mean the paths? You can place paths wherever you want. I made them criss-cross my town, making sure they also led to town buildings like the museum, store, etc.
@Albertx94: By donating to the town fund. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that is built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. Once that's built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for either a windmill or lighthouse (you can choose which you want).
@Jerrybomb49 By donating to the town fund. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. And once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for a windmill or lighthouse (you can choose which one you want). This is a common question, so I'm going to add it to the description.
@mangakitten1 By donating to the town fund at town hall. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once that has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. And once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for a windmill or lighthouse.
@starystar34: When I first started out, foreign fruit trees were my main source of income. Also selling bugs, fish, fossils, holiday furniture sets, etc.
@suberbgirl22: Basically just put flowers of the same type next to each other, and make there are empty spaces nearby for the resulting flowers to pop up. Every once in a while, a new flower will result. It may be the same color as one of its parents, or it may be a hybrid.
@TheGamerguy778: I'm not going to make a tutorial, but I will say that rivers are four spaces wide (except at waterfalls and the mouth of the river, etc.). For cliffs, just imagine it from overhead. If the 5th space is on the edge of a cliff, the 6th space will continue down below (still in line with the others).
@Moonalove267: Any flower will help grass regrow quicker. The advantage to golden roses is that they don't need to be watered, so you avoid walking on grass to water them. But if you place (regular) flowers alongside your paths, you won't need to leave the path to water them anyway.
@omarc94: When I first started out, I planted lots of foreign fruit trees and harvested fruit every day. That's how I got most of my money at the beginning. Also, a lot came from fishing and selling the fossils you dig up every day.
@GlowieAkaChloe: Thanks. Lay down paths and stick to them as much as possible. Also plant flowers where the grass has worn away, that helps it grow back quicker.
city folk will always have a special place in my heart.
Thanks. I tried using natural dirt paths a while back, but I didn't think it looked as nice. So I went with patterns again.
How do you make natural paths????
@@EG0909 Running on grass makes it turn into dirt, so just keep running where you want the paths to be. It will take a while, but eventually you will get natural paths.

No, I prefer playing with the pro controller. Besides, the joycons seem so expensive (and they eventually seem to start drifting).

Awww! I love how you made him clap at the end! :D
This was so adorable.

For the three-way intersections, I started with the Wendell patterns and edited them.

This is a common question, so I'm going to add it to the description.

@starystar34: When I first started out, foreign fruit trees were my main source of income. Also selling bugs, fish, fossils, holiday furniture sets, etc.
@SmileyLouuX: It's a set of patterns from Wendell.
@Thecuponkkid11: I use a TV tuner card. It records directly onto my hard drive, so I don't have anything to transfer or import.
