The Story of Sara, Rivka, and Yitzchak 🌟
A long time ago, Sara, the wife of Avraham, passed away at the age of 127. Avraham loved her very much and wanted a special place to bury her. He bought a beautiful cave called the Cave of Machpelah in Canaan and laid Sara to rest there.
Avraham was getting older, and he wanted to find a kind and loving wife for his son, Yitzchak. He sent his trusted servant, Eliezer, on a long journey to find the perfect bride.
Eliezer took ten camels and traveled far until he reached a well. He prayed, “God, let the right girl be the one who offers me water and also gives water to my camels.” Just then, Rivka came to the well. She was kind and gave water to Eliezer and all his thirsty camels. Eliezer knew she was the one!
Rivka agreed to come back with Eliezer to marry Yitzchak. When Rivka saw Yitzchak from far away, she covered herself with a veil. Yitzchak welcomed her, and they got married. He loved Rivka very much, and she made him happy after the loss of his mother.
Avraham lived a long, full life and passed away at 175 years old. He was buried next to Sara in the Cave of Machpelah.
