Hatta : Proven to be not insane as Soekarno. The real Father of Modern Indonesia of MTNO universe.
Salim : Not the best president as he only got one tenure, but his economic policies will endure after he left the office. (Edit : words for explaining. He actually pretty decent and he will easily get the top 3. But he is not in the first rank)
Toer : IRL disgraced author by the New Order regime. He finally give his mind to made Indonesia more left-leaning. He pretty much a satisfactory president with his welfare system, but the decay of state start to appears in the end of his tenure.
Soemitro : Not much, he died shortly after. He looks like Indonesian Danny deVito tho.
Sumarlin: Why extremists always ruin a good thing smh.
Habibie : Not so different with IRL.
Haz : It's suck to be a man who being hated by everyone. But it doesn't mean his dumb actions get a free pass.

lore goes pretty decent to Hartono taking the seat, but going to Atut is quite strange. He's not so much a figure in Indonesia Politic, rather more keen to Banten.
Maybe take Sri Mulyani (Neoliberalist) or Khofifah (Socio-Democratic) if still want to take the "First Female President" route. Jokowi also can be an option fit with much RN cuz he's already a Jakarta Mayor since 2012.
Or maybe for some memez, get Amien Rais and watch the Parliament goes 1993 Russia Constitutional Crisis lmao.
The post Maret Kelam lore wasn't quite done at the time so Atut accomplishments were quite lacking compare to her predecessors. Hartono or perhaps a replacement of him will have a bigger lore and cause another constitution crisis as he would clash with Guntur.
Jokowi status in MTNO is really unclear and he prob won't appear. However Amien Rais may likely do appear.

Really well done lore, its feels easy for me to make out some rationalization of political sentiment throughout like the arrival of strong islamist party after the sectarian conflict, the break up of the post civil war old guards parties (tbh the marhaen union kinda comes out of nowhere) and significant weakening of f the communist and islamist after the somewhat succesful purge and after the weakening of the radicals i assume we got something like a big tent moderate "just say things that make us win" party
tho the choices for some presidents are kinda shocking but maybe these character going through different path of life and are less evil then how we know them in our lore - except the the banten landlord princess of course.

What if the Loyalists (Soekarno) forces won?
The best scenario I can guess for it is Sukarno becomes extremely popular after the war but wouldn't be able to fix issues that were matter to the people like in OTL. After his death, he would prob be succeded by authoritarian figures under Sukarnoism until an election is held in 2014.

One of Sukarno's children will play an important role later on, Megawati in MTNO stayed as a normal psychologist. Not sure about his wifes and the rest of his children but I assume they live normal lives.

The lore was originally going to be Suharto, but then it was changed to Sukarno and finally Hatta scenario considering the bigger political potential for the Megacut plus I wouldn't map it considering how dull the lore was.
