Battery electric vehicles make up right around ONE PERCENT of vehicles currently on the roads in the United States. No worries -- Nissan is selling plenty of combustion vehicles all over the world. Do just a bit of research, and then you can put things in perspective. That one percent of vehicles in the US is about 3 million battery electric vehicles out of around 300 million vehicles, overall. Meanwhile, if you look at the entire planet, there are over 8 billion people, but only around 1.5 billion personal vehicles. If you want to make money, you're not going to get so much by selling a handful of expensive vehicles that require a whole new infrastructure that's so inconvenient that owners must "charge at home," or forget about it, entirely. Can you name the sixth-most popular private vehicle on the planet? Of course you can't. In 2022 -- the latest full year's worth of data we have -- the Toyota Hilux was sixth place on the list of highest sales for brand and model, worldwide. None sold in the US, very few in China, and a handful in Europe. Believe it or not, there is a market made up of billions of people that won't be "going electric" any time soon.
Were have you been people love them in my state. We had a 2 year wait when 1st announced. Why do you feel the need to make snotty comments about the car . You could have skipped the video if you don’t like the car. It is as bad as Tesla fans going on every non Tesla video to say how people need a Tesla when no we don’t.
@@markfitzpatrick6692 Nissan only sold about 5600 total in Q1 and Q2 of 2023. So 10k is probably pretty darn close to100%. Also, just because there was a 2 year wait doesn't mean Nissan actually sold any. FOr example, there is a 4 to 5 year wait for the Cyber truck, but they haven't sold any.
@@markfitzpatrick6692 I’m not even a Tesla fan lol. I’ve genuinely never seen one of these cars yet in Houston. I’ve barely seen a solterra the other day and never seen a lyric either. They may have a wait list but there’s almost none on the road which is why I’m surprised they even made 10,000 period at this point
I was notifide in the app and had the service done already.
I can't believe they had that many to recall!
I received my recall notice via the app & had it serviced last week. It took about 90 minutes.
That's a nice quick fix! All good from there?
@@OutofSpecPodcast so far. *knocking on wood* I have an 800 mile road trip coming this weekend so wish me luck! lol
Will they be able to do the recalls before bankruptcy???
Are these hybrid vehicles as stated on the recall notice???

No worries -- these are all sitting on dealership lots.
lmao so every Ariya produced so far? That's some nice Nissan quality
Honestly who knew they even produced 10,000 ariyas in the first place 😂

It's a great vehicle just about 8K too expensive. If they can figure out a way to lower the price I believe it's more than competitive.
@@StubbyStan28 I actually love the look. But agreed. It’s hard to get at that price with the specs
10,000. That's probably everyone they have sold.
