四万十トンネル貫通式 / Shimanto tunnel penetration type

最後の清流といわれる四万十川に挟まれた道路トンネル新設工事で、昼夜作業のため近隣民家や自然環境及び景観に配慮し、騒音や振動、防塵対策に最新の注意を払いました。トンネルずりは一般公道を利用しての搬出の為、地元車輌を最優先し、夜間は仮置き場までの運搬としました。掘削は、事前試験発破により最適薬量を確認し、民家・終点側のJR軌道に対して影響の出ない発破を行いました。トンネル仮設備に礫間浄化等を付加し、清流の環境保全に努めました。
休校となった小学校を宿舎などに活用し、竣工後は改造した姿で町に移管しました。「地域づくり事業」への参加、現場見学会の開催など積極的な地元交流を通し、地域に貢献したとして、四万十町長より感謝状を戴きました。

In the construction of a new road tunnel sandwiched between the Shimanto River, which is said to be the last clear stream, we paid close attention to noise, vibration, and dust prevention measures in consideration of the surrounding private houses, the natural environment, and the scenery, as the work was carried out day and night. Since tunnel mucking is carried out using general public roads, local vehicles are given top priority and transported to a temporary storage site at night. For the excavation, the optimal amount of chemical was confirmed by preliminary test blasting, and the blasting was carried out without affecting the private houses and the JR track on the end point side. We added purification between gravel to the temporary tunnel facilities and worked to preserve the environment of the clear stream.
The closed elementary school was used as lodgings, and after its completion, it was remodeled and transferred to the town. We received a letter of appreciation from the Mayor of Shimanto Town for contributing to the community through active interaction with the local community, such as participating in the "Regional Development Project" and holding site tours.
