Brett Littlefield’s low B flat at the end is the icing on the cake... AMAZING. AIC chorus sounds absolutely phenomenal despite being apart like this. Love it!
We gotta give Beef (1997 champion Yesteryear’s bass (third from the top all the way to the left)) some credit for that Bb1 too. I have the fortune of standing next to him in the BGSU Men’s Chorus, and dude is casually able to project down to a G1 on the daily. You can see him take a breath and change his vowel very slightly to go down into the basement with Brett. Two absolutely phenomenal low basses alongside the cream of the crop of barbershop!
I keep playing this over and over, and it makes me cry every time. The message, the chords, the perfection. I'd love to hear some more of these. PLEASE?
1:46 I hear the Swede's sound :) Also the sound profile of Jakob's recording makes me think l it was recorded on a phone, which just makes it even more amazing the fact he sounds insanely good.
Thank you all for this! I sing in the church choir and I miss singing. We have not sung since March because of the coronavirus. God bless you and your families.
I adore this so much. I've been listening to it on repeat while doing homework. I love singing to it too~ Looking forward to more AIC Chorus songs in the future!!
I grew up with barbershop, my mother and I both sang in quartets (SWEET ADELINES) the name of their quartet was"THE FOOT NOTES" I sure do miss those gals, it was so much fun 🤗
@@badynwoodford Cool! All cellphones made it even a bigger challenge. Especially because of just how different all the cellphones are and the rooms they were in.
Amazing collaboration gents! This is beautiful, the show was wonderful. I was able to share it with friends who weren't barbershoppers and we were all in tears during the show. They said, "Even without seeing all the spectators, they could sense the feeling of genuine community. " I miss you all. And I hope this will spur us on until we can be together again.
Question I’ve see the lead of the old quartet via voice in aic videos as far back as 2004? What quartet was he in. Ps I absolutely love this song. Especially Jakob
Are you thinking of Doug Broesma? His son Tim is the tenor of Realtime (2005 Champs) Doug & Tim sang in The Milky Way 1993 Evergreen District champs. Doug is the 2nd lead of Realtime.
Technically he is a member of the AIC. Replacement members of any champ receives an associate membership, so once he was named as the new bass, he became an associate member.
Jakob was a beast in this!

Really, really great song guys! Just have to give a little extra thanks to Jakob , Lusa and Jeff for their contribution. You all were fantastic!

Damn...simply amazing! Every hair I have grew half an inch.
Love this! Kudos to Brandon Guyton on the mixing work.
Thanks. It was a beast, but a lot of fun.
@@bgbari You bet! I know how that can be; I'm a musician/editor/mixer... a mixed bag so to speak.
@@badynwoodford Cool! All cellphones made it even a bigger challenge. Especially because of just how different all the cellphones are and the rooms they were in.
Seriously! That’s a ton of tracks
Mom mmmm
Jakob Stenberg is such a gift to barbershop. Can't stop listening to him sing.
What a gorgeous rendition!!! 💝
This is so beautiful. The purity of this 'simple wish'...sigh. Could listen to this joyful noise all day. Thank you for posting this!
This is absolutely beautiful. 🥰

Man big props to Jakob and the MIB AWESOME!!!
WOW THE POWER OF EVERYONE IS ASTONISHING!!!
Lovely piece, indeed it's the fellowship that makes the music! Thanks Matt for sharing!

We are looking into this as we speak. If we work it out, we will announce it on our Facebook page and website.
Bravo!
Amazing, thank you, everyone, for sharing!
Where can I get this arrangement? It's so amazing to listen to every time I hear it
holy shit this is amazing
Absolutely great!😅
Amazing!
This is an amazing edit.
WOW!!!!
Very love this song...Where can I get this score?
On my e-bike traveling across the German countryside.
What is the lowest note that the bass is singing? Whatever it is…. this is a remarkable piece sung by all involved!!!
Although I recognize many of these past champs, not all of them. Can a lit of participants be appended to the video description?

Conner, he wouldn't have been in AIC shows, though, until the late 2000s, when he stepped in to replace John Newell.
Great! Where can I get this Arrangement?
Is there a score anywhere for this?? Would love to sing it with the choir I’m in
I wish they would have listed everyone who performed on this. I lost track of recognizing the singers.
im crying
Anyone else tear up at the beginning
I met mike rowe
This is beautiful, absolutely breathtaking. But I must say...
The motion tracking on that single lead’s camera was really distracting.
Stockholm Syndrome with Emanuel subbing in being tagged as Ringmasters was interesting...
How great to hear only men's voices 👏
Why is there so many dislikes?
I don’t want to be that guy but technically isn’t Didier not a member of the AIC? Guess I just miss Martin.
Technically he is a member of the AIC. Replacement members of any champ receives an associate membership, so once he was named as the new bass, he became an associate member.
I wish that Martin would've sang with ringmasters instead of their new bass due to the fact that he's not an AIC member
What's with all the down votes?
