People wondering why Shalewa has given Mohammed another chance, it’s because her relationship with Mo is a “familiar love”. It’s a classic trauma response, to forget about the trauma from Kwame, she’s trying to attach back to a familiar and seemingly “safer” love. But what she doesn’t realise is, because it’s familiar doesn’t mean it’s safe. Because it’s not physically violent doesn’t mean it’s not emotionally violent. That’s where the problem lies, and that’s why the healing process is such a vulnerable time. To deal with this situation, her support system needs to hold her strongly, her therapist and family need to support her to move away from the confusion called Mohammed.

Before the whole Mohamed family introduction I was actually still here for Mohamed n Shalewa's reunion, but seeing as he has no say or control over how they disrespected her I think it's safe to say we the online SGIT family are no longer interested in the relationship.
I started watching this series after my spinal surgery in 2017. I was in pain but being stucked on the series was a form of therapy for me during my recovery. I can say it was part of my recovery journey. When i started watching, they had already uploaded about 4 seasons so i enjoyed watching the series episode after episode. You know that feeling right? Decided to re-watch the entire series all over from season 1. I noticed Mohammed has ALWAYS been honest with Shally baby down to the part where he couldn't even hide sleeping with the other lady. He was betrothed to farida right from childhood and somehow, he ensured farida understood his heart belonged to someone else. Before you judge mohammed, first understand his background and how difficult it is to fight tradition. Unfortunately for the poor guy, he is truly inlove with shalewa but have absolutely no clue how to win her completely without involving her in unnecessary dramas and hurting her
SGIT is unbeatable. In S1 I'm sure Tiwa would never have believed that she who was mistreated by Kola, got her heart broken by Femi would have so much blessings and love. For those going through what Tiwa went through in the earlier seasons of the series, also believe that you would be in the place that she is right now. This series is so relatable, with many life messages passed to its audience.
Most of us watching this program are now graduate , and also experiencing tiwa life style, clocking 30 still no husband 😢 and parents presure is in highest level 😅omo this movie is a jam
That thing about new mothers and their fascination with their children is SO true. Talmbout “my child is so smart” just because he garbled at 6 weeks. Or the one that told me her child would likely be a great basketball player because of how he stretches…🙄😒 I pray that all who want to experience motherhood get to do that in their lifetime. Amen.

Everything about this series gives me joy. Tiwa and Mide, Shalewa , Mummy Tiwa, Wosi, Didi, everyone. They way they treat Wosi like she’s the baby of the house. How Mide loves his family and his extended family. It’s just so beautiful. The story. Watching Tiwa be so lucky in love, after all she had been through. It’s been over 7 yrs of following this story and I don’t regret it.

Right? They can't even pretend to like her. The least they could have done was to be friendly with her at the dinner, not show their displeasure in her face. That's a huge red flag.
